“YA YURI! Where are you???” Sooyoung yelled into the phone inside the building to where the Drama Auditions happened. Today was Sooyoung and Yuri’s first day auditioning for a part in the drama. Sooyoung used to be a dancer but tired of being left behind while her friend, Hyoyeon, kept getting the spotlight. Her best friend Jessica suggested taking acting classes and got her in with one of the best acting teachers. One of her classmates was Kwon Yuri. They were always fighting to be the number 1 in the class. They liked to refer to each other as each other’s enemy. Always trying to get ahead of the other. Their teacher signed them up for audition for a new drama Yellow Umbrella’s. She knew little about the character she was supposed to play only knowing she was auditioning for the part of her best friend. She had been memorizing the lines all week for this. Her and Yuri had both planned to get there 45 mins early to practice together. Yuri always likes to be early. She wonders what have might kept the girl.

Yuri stared at the phone vibrating on the table at the café she was at. “Why don’t you answer that? It sounds important.” A light voice from across from her says looking down at the phone as the contact read enemy. “It’s just my acting partner. We were supposed to meet to practice our lines for the drama you’re staring in. I don’t need to practice since I know I’ll get it. Maybe my new girlfriend could pull some strings.” Yuri said seductively running her fingers up and down Yoona’s arm. “HEY! I told you I won’t do that. I don’t hold the auditions Writer Taeyeon and the directors do!” Yoona snapped at her slapping her hand. “You said you helped with the script. Plus you’re famous everyone loves you.” Yuri stated smiling at her. “I gave a few ideas on how I would like my character to be. I didn’t actually co-write it. But I’ll come with you. See who I might be staring with. Say hi to Taeyeon Unnie.” Yoona replies finishing off with a kiss on her cheek. They had met in a modeling class in college. After that they had kept in touch ever since. When Yoona got her first call for a drama the first person she had to call was Yuri. They had separated after that only contacting each other ever so often. Yoona knew Yuri was a lesbian and it didn’t really bother her. Yoona had just came back to Seoul after filming in France. After hearing that Yuri was into acting now she immediately had to meet her. France gave Yoona the chance to explore herself and to find now that she was actually a lesbian. Yoona’s best friend, Sunny, was there every step with her giving her advice cause she was a lesbian too. Sooner or later Yuri asked her on a date. Yoona had a few flings with girls but never an actual date.  It’s been 3 weeks now since they have been dating. Yoona has to keep it cool because the press is all after her since she came out 1 year ago. She keeps calling it the honey moon stage because all she wants to do is spend time with Yuri.

Back at the Auditions

“She’s late Sica! What could she be doing?? This is our first audition. How am I supposed to know if I’m the best if I don’t beat out the one who wants to be the best!” Sooyoung yells into the phone to Jessica. “She will be there! You guys have been working so hard for this. It’d be a shame.” Jessica calmly tells her. “How can I be calm when...” Just as she is about to finish her sentence Yuri walks in screaming, “Hey teacher said no phones in class Enemy Soo!”

“She’s here Sica. Talk to you later” Sooyoung says quickly closing the phone. “Where were you? And who’s your beautiful friend over there? She’s too pretty too be with you.” Sooyoung smirks walking up to the two. “Sooyoung stop flirting with my girlfriend.” Yuri states grabbing onto Yoona’s hand. “Ooooh. Girlfriend... Well I haven’t formally introduced myself. I am Choi Sooyoung and you are?” Sooyoung mentions holding out her hand for the girl to shake. The girl was gorgeous she had to admit that. “Oh the names Im Yoona. Pleased to meet you. I’ve heard so much about you.” Yoona informed shaking the girl’s hand. Sooyoung had head of the name before... and that face so familiar. Then it hit her. “Oh my gosh you’re Im Yoona! The Famous Actress Im Yoona. I loved you in that Drama with the hot guy.” Sooyoung boasts shaking her hand fast. “I’ve been in a lot of drama’s with hot guys. I’m also staring in this drama as the main character Lydia!” Yoona declared smiling because the girl was a huge fan.

“I saw that. I didn’t know you knew her Yuri. Wait are you just dating her to get the part Yuri so you can finally beat me. THAT’S COLD YURI AND YOU KNOW...” Sooyoung starts to yell but gets interrupted. “Calm down Enemy Soo. I met her in college. She had just came back from France a few weeks ago and that’s when we started dating.  I didn’t know she stared in the drama till she told me that’s why she came back. She doesn’t even help with the auditions.” Yuri states gently pushing Sooyoung away from her face. “She’s correct Sooyoung. I have no part in the Audition process. I just act the part. Though I did have some say on what my character is. Just refer to me as the Famous Actress Im Yoona.”

“Hey! Why isn’t that dude answering his phone Seo!! Call him again. I don’t care how many times you call him get him to pick up!!!!” Taeyeon yells at Assistant Seohyun as she barges through the door. “Oh great you’re here Yoona. I need your help!” Taeyeon orders as soon as she spots Yoona. “I’m just here to wish my girlfriend good luck in the auditions. And to check out who might my co-star be.” Yoona answers as Taeyeon stops next to her. “Oooh this is the girl you have been talking about. Pleased to meet you. I’m the Drama’s writer Taeyeon.” She explains holding out her hand to Sooyoung. “I’m not her girlfriend. But I’d like to be she is hot! Choi Sooyoung is my name.” Sooyoung expresses winking at Yoona. “I’m her girlfriend. Kwon Yuri.” Yuri points out shaking Taeyeon’s hand. “Really?? I’d think you would prefer the long legs. If you don’t get the Audition Sooyoung don’t be surprised if I might call you for a drink.” Taeyeon flirtatiously says handing Sooyoung her personal number on a business card. “Look Yoona the director isn’t answering his phone and...” gets cut off by Seohyun who shouts “He picked up!” “Give me that!” Taeyeon shouts grabbing the phone out of Seohyun’s hand. “Hey where are you. Auditions start today. I DON’T CARE if there’s tons of traffic. People are already here. Look I’m only the writer. I can’t do it on my own. Yoona’s here if you weren’t actually coming I was gonna ask her. Don’t complain to me if you don’t like our choices then. I’ll talk to you later” Taeyeon argued into the phone closing it angrily. “Looks like your helping me with the Auditions Yoona. Director can’t make it due to an accident outside his house. He says he trusts you though since you have been in many acting auditions yourself come in when you are ready.” Taeyeon proclaimed handing Seohyun back the phone and walking into the room where the auditions are held.

“Wow she’s...” Sooyoung stared to say but shut because no matter how strong Sooyoung was. This girl may look short and cute but she is scary. “Once you get to know her you will like her. You even got her number. That means she’s willing to date you. Taeyeon’s picky about her dates ever since her horrible break up a 2 years ago. Consider yourself lucky.” Yoona implies facing towards Sooyoung. “Good luck to you.” She adds smiling at me. “Now Yuri don’t be sad if you don’t get the part. I told you I won’t choose you just because I like you. I can always get you a background part so don’t worry.” She whispers running her fingers down Yuri’s cheek. “Okay. Yoon baby....” Yuri pouts blushing from Yoona’s touch. “Promise me you won’t get mad?” Yoona uttered getting close to her face. “Promise....” Yuri wailed then slightly smiled. Yoona quickly kisses her cheek and runs off into the audition room.
