Chapter 5- Missing+Lie=???

 

Minho stares endlessly at the hair clip; he sighs don't know what to do with it. He reaches his hand out for the TV's remote and just randomly press any keys that on it. He stops at the entertainment news; surprisingly the hot topic today was involving him and Suzy "Netizens think that Suzy and Minho look cute together". His eyes open as wide as possible, he shocks. ‘The last week episode has made the netizens gone wild for the couple’, Minho read along with the article and doesn’t know what is going on anymore. Indeed, he still remembers the last time he met Suzy’ eyes, his heart was throbbing like crazy and his face just act on their owned. Thinking about her, makes his face blushed. He puts the clip on the table next to his bed and realizes something odd about the charm. The knot has been untied and the “thing” inside has gone missing nowhere. Quickly, Minho sits up, grabs and takes a look at the charm…

-Shoot where is “it”?

He looks for it everywhere, under the table, his bed, and even trashed his room… but it seems like it useless. One thing that for sure that he never seen “it” before so he not really sure what is he trying to look for, but for him it seems like a small jewelry like a ring inside. Suddenly the idea pops out of nowhere; he remembers that Taemin had come over to his room last time. So he thinks that Taemin might see something “abnormal”. Without a blink Minho goes straight to Taemin’s room and knocks on the door as loud as he could.

 

Taemin is enjoying his flan without a thought, then a loud noise come out of nowhere knock his flan on over the floor…

-Hyung-ahhh what are you doing?_ Little maknae complains as soon as he opens the door

-Taemin-ah last time you came into my room did you see anything fell out from this charm?_Minho reaches out the charm and shows it to Taemin

Taemin startles after he saw the charm in Minho’s hand, he sweats…

-Uhmm I don’t know, I never see it before… is that yours hyung?_ Taemin makes up a quick lie about the charm

-Ah… no I picked up last time at the Music Core’s backstage, I plan to return it to the owner of “it”… tsk.. but it seems like I lost it_ Minho scratches his nape, not knowing what to do

-Are you sure you never see it?_ He asks again

-Uhm.. No no_ Taemin shakes his head madly

-Ok then I see you later…

-Hyung do you know who is the owner?_Taemin curiously asks

-I wish I know…_ Minho says in depress then walk away

“Phew… he scared me “ _Taemin sighs in relief

He takes out the ring that hidden beneath his shirt looks at it dearly then suddenly he gives it a soft kiss.

“I should return it next time I see her”_ He thought

 

Today Suzy has a “dream high” filming, she still thinks about the ring but now she try to focus on the job. Throughout the filming no one seems notice something odd about Suzy, except for SooHyun…

-Hey Suzy what’s happen?_Soohyun comes and sits next to Suzy

-Nothing oppa I’m waiting for Hyo-unnie, have you done your part?_ She looks up at him with a smile and joyful voice

-You don’t have to act tough, your acting er than me you know that?_ Soohyun teases

-Jeez… I wish I was carefree like you oppa…_She stops then continue- I lost something that’s very important to me…

-Like what?_ Soohyun asks

-Not tell_Suzy shows her tongue and looks away

-Geez kid these day… don’t worry your lost thing gonna come back to you_He acts like he doesn’t care but still encourage her anyway

-Thank oppa…

-Why don’t ask someone was with you at that time…_ He continues as he’s looking up the sky

*Bling Bling Bling*

Like a question has it answer solved, Suzy looks at Soohyun gratefully…

-THANK OPPA…_ she screams and runs straight to her manager-unnie (Hyo)

Soohyun chuckles….

-Hyo-unnie, unnie tomorrow let’s go to Music Core early yeah?_Suzy shakes her unnie’s shoulders like crazy

-Calm down Suzy, for what?_Hyo tries to stop Suzy excitement

-I found a way to find my charm!!!_maknae’s eyes are full of sparking star as she talks about the charm

-Really? How?_ Hyo curls her brows together

-I will try to ask the staffs if they ever saw my charm, I think they might pick it up!_ She answers

-Humph… that’s true I will take you there early_ Hyo says

-Thank unnie !!!

 

At the Music core (next day)

-Good morni…_ Minho greets was cut off by the group of people surround Suzy

-What’s happen in here? _Minho asks Jiyeon, who standing next to him

-Suzy lost her charm, so she comes here to ask if someone have seen it!_ She says

-A charm?_ He repeats

-Yes, a charm with a “ring” in it_ She sighs- She says that’s very important to her… poor girl_ She continued

Like a knife stabs through Minho’s heart, he shocks. He doesn’t know that this is happening, he holds the empty charm in his hand and the guilt of lost Suzy’s ring has go up to the maximum. He feels like the air has gone, he has hard time to swallow. What’s should he do, he doesn’t know what to say to Suzy, and that he’s lost her important ring, or just denies that he never see anything, his mind right now is a mess.

-Minho-oppa are you okay?_ Suddenly, Suzy comes up and asks

-I’m ok… I heard from Jiyeon that you lost your … ring…_He tries to stay calm…

-uhm… that’s very important to me, I can’t believe that I lost it, I hope someone pick it up and return it to me…

Every words Suzy said is direct stab at Minho, his thought now is a mess…

-Suzy-shii actually…

Suzy looks at him and waits for him to say something

-Actually I… I hope you will find your ring soon_ He smiles, but he cannot believe himself that he lied to her. He doesn’t have enough courage to say, he thinks that he will makes her sad even more.

-“I will just find the ring first then tell her the truth later”…

-Thank oppa, you are so nice, I hope so too_ She forces herself to smile

Minho’s hand automatically softly pats on Suzy’s head. Suzy was surprise by Minho acts (and so does he), they blushed but didn’t say anything. So Minho keeps patting her head, and she doesn’t dislike it or anything…

-Thank you oppa…
