Chapter Six: Gifts
A Beautiful InconvenienceHyerin POV:
Christmas was approaching quickly and I had no clue what to get Eli. I had found the perfect gift for Minah, Hannah Unnie, and Mr. and Mrs. Kim. But now I was left with Eli. I pouted as I sat on my bed, going through all kind of options. What do you get for the guy that you’ve always loved from afar as a fan, and then also on a more personal level once you met him? What can you get for that!?!?! And I didn’t even know him all that well yet, so I was kinda clueless as to what he really liked. I mean, I knew stuff that any fan might know, but I wanted something personal: Something that said, ‘I’m not just a fan. I’m a friend too.’ I sighed again. Just then, Minah entered my room,
“What’s with the glum look?” she asked as she took a seat on my bed beside me. I just sighed again. I turned to look at her, trying to judge whether or not I should ask her for help. I decided that it wouldn’t hurt to try so I got up and quickly closed the door. I came back and sat down beside her.
“Okay. Here’s the thing. I have all my gifts bought and wrapped now,” her eyes brightened, “except for Eli’s. I have absolutely no clue what to get for him.” She pretended to think about it for a moment,
“Well,” She began, “I know one thing that would be good.” I perked up,
“What!?”
“A kiss,” She looked over and smirked at me. My face dropped and I just stared at her.
“Really? THAT is your solution?” She just shrugged and looked away. “I’m being serious here~! I need help! I want to get him something awesome, but I have absolutly no clue what to get him.” She sighed and scratched her head.
“I don’t know. I’m really sorry. I had a hard time myself… I know you’ll figure it out, and if I think of anything, I’ll tell you, Okay? But seriously, anything you get him, he’ll love. I promise.”
“Whatever.” I said, pushing her away. She laughed, “Really! I’m not joking when I say he seriously might like you! I can see it in his eyes. Siblings know these things about eachother you know.” I scoffed, but really, I was pleased. I really hoped that what she said was true. I really had grown to like Eli over the past few weeks. And it was no longer as just some fan: I truly liked him. A lot.
Sorry this is short! I promise to get another chapter up soon! I've been so busy with Christmas and New Years and I've had no clue what to write for any of my stories! I appologize! DX
