It was D-2. Junsu was still the same. His conditions became worse than yesterday and he knew for sure, he had less time on his hand. Ever since he was admitted to the hospital, Jaejoong would never leave his side, he came checking on him every one hour to make sure the latter felt comfortable and no more pain in his stomach.

And Junsu, the man who never once wanted to worried his hyungs, especially Jaejoong, he would always replied “I’m okay.” and “Don’t worry.” whenever he asked him about his conditions. Of course, Jaejoong knew he was lying but he could never asked him again as he knew Junsu was tired and he really a good rest, so he let him be.

Junsu sighed heavily as he poked the roll eggs on the plate. It taste nothing but tasteless to his tongue and did he mentioned that he hated hospital foods? Because heck yeah, he never liked the hospital ever since before.

He titled his head up when he heard the door had been slided from outside. “Hey,” and he smiled when he saw Hyukjae entered. He put down the chopsticks and pushed away his plate. The doctor shock his head, “you’re not eating again?” and Junsu chuckled as a replied. Of course, he too knew that he hated hospital.

Hyukjae pulled a chair closed to the bed and sat on it. “Here, I came to give you this.” he handed a file to Junsu and he quickly took it. He opened the file and saw a letter of agreement. He scanned through the letter, reading one alphabet to another, words to words and once in a while he nodded his head in understand. “Alright, give me the pen.”

The doctor furrowed his eyebrows. “You’re not going to ask anything before?” and he earned a small smiled from his best friend. “No, there’s no need for that.” he paused and let out his palm. “Where’s the pen?” he asked again and Hyukjae quickly took the pen from his pocket and placed it on his palm. Junsu quickly signed the papers and hand back the pen and file to him.

“So… The operation will be conducted by me and Jaejoong. You’re okay with it?”

“Yes, everything is fine for me.”
