Baro's POV: I sat up in the dark and rubbed my neck. Pain stricked me like a wave. I swallowed a thousand times and looked around in the dark. Why does my neck hurt so much? I slowly walked across the room towards the door. "Ow..." I whispered to myself. I felt around in the dark hallway and pressed my hand against the cold wall. The world seemed to spin around me and I swallowed again. I saw the outline of the kitchen. I quietly walked in their and opened the refigerator door. I sheilded my eyes from the light. I'm so thirsty...I grabbed a bottle of ice cold water. I opened it and started drinking it quickly. Pain surged trhough me making me dropping it. I coughed and tried to breathe. "Are..you ok?" I heard Momo's soft voice whisper. What's wrong with me? Fear made my heart pound and I took a deep breath. "Nothing. I'm fine." Momo walked towards me while rubbing her blue eyes. "You sure?" She yawned and I nodded. I rubbed my throat as the burning sensation went on again. Momo jumped with shock and reached her hand out to me. "Your throat hurts?" I nodded slowly and she gently touched me and jumped back with concern in her eyes. "Your freezing."  I don't feel cold. I jerked away sharply and I heard the crash of a vase. Why did I jerk away like that? Momo stared at me hurt for a moment. She bent down and started to pick up the glass. "I can understand if your still mad about our break up. But I still care for you. I just need a break." She mumbled holding the glass in her hand. Anger burned in me making me bite my tongue. "No you just like Ray. You don't care about me!" I yelled in un controllable anger. Momo jumped back and the glass fell again and cut her foot. She stared at me with sadness in her eyes. I froze and covered my mouth with the same surprise. "Is that what you think?! No..Ray is just my friend! He's even my warrior angel." her voice cracked. I slowly walked towards her and gave her a huge hug. "I'm sorry." I mumbled looking at her cut that was bleeding. The pain surged in me even worse this time and I clenched my fist as I smelled a sweet smell like candy. Momo stared at me wide eyed. "Y-Your eyes...their red!"  Momo backed away and pressed herself against the counter and I heard somebody stand up. It..smells so good.. I got closer to her but I felt somebody grab me with so much force. "You better go away or I smash you through this counter.." I heard Ray's voice in my ear. I would like to see him try. I felt the urge to bite her and I felt my fangs come out and Ray picked me up off the ground and slammed me through the counter. I layed there dazed for a moment. Why'd I try to bite her? I'm a monster.. I looked at Ray who had nothing but regret in his eyes. "I don't want to hurt you Baro." He mumbled looking away as I stood up. "What's wrong with me?" I asked shaking. Before he could answer I ran towards the door as fast as I could. I ran outside and the black sky and stars was still out. So..they turned me.. I clenched my fist and I felt the hunger again. I don't want to be this monster. There is so much anger I feel... I walked towards the dark woods and ducked under the twigs and branches. I froze as I saw red eyes glow around me. "Baro...You like your new self?" I heard Lamar's deep voice. I felt his cold hands on my shoulder. "What did you do to me?" I growled pulling away. He snickered. "Your a vampire now. I am I guess you could say...master."  He walked around me for a moment his red eyes glowing. What..does he mean/? "I won't listen to you." I glared at him and he slammed me against the tree his face so close to mine I could smell his sour breath. "You will listen to me."  He slowly cut his wrist with his sharp nails and the blood trickled down his arms making my mouth water. Don't drink it... He held it up to my mouth and I violently bit his wrist. The warm liquid soothed the burning and I wiped my lips off. "Taste good?" He tilted his head and I nodded slowly. "Listen to me, you will kill Momo." He whispered. I nodded slowly

                                                                              Momo's POV: I leaned against the fridge. "Did you see that Ray?" My voice cracked and I ran my fingers through my hair. "No...I just felt like throwing him through the counter for fun." Ray said sarcastically staring at me. I huffed at him while crossing my arms. "I wouldn't doubt it." He grabbed my foot and I screamed in surprise and held onto the fridge trying not to fall. "His vampire stage has already started."  What about mine? Ain't I half vampire? As if he was reading my mind Ray riped a piece of his black shirt and tied it around my foot. "Yes but your half and your father or mother must have killed the vampire that bit you."  So I'm half vampire but I don't crave for the blood.. I just have the power of one. He glanced up at me as he tied it. "Did that hurt?" I shook my head and sat my foot on the fround wincing a little. Sammy ran downstairs. "Is...it gone?" She whispered looking around carefully as she walked towards us. "Yeah. It's gone for now." Ray mumbled leaning against the fridge. She raised her eyebrow at me. "Didn't you kill it Ray? Or was it to strong?"  I glanced at Ray who was looking out the window. "No..the vampire was Baro."  Just hearing it made my heart pound so hard. Ray put his arm on my shoulder.. Who acutally changed Baro? "We'll kill the vampire who changed Baro." Ray said reasuringly as Thunder walked towards us. "What happened here? Did Ray fight a tornado?" Thunder edged around the broken glass and counter. "No...Baro is a vampire now." Ray mumbled kicking a piece of the counter on my foot. Thunder went wide eyed and he seemed frozen for a moment. "How..will we kll the vampire that turned Baro? Wouldn't it kill him to?" I shuddered at the uncertainty in Thunder's voice. "No, we will save Baro. He will be ok." Ray mumbled grabbing his guns and other weapons off the floor. "But I'm useless when it comes to fighting vampires." I mumbled looking at Ray's weapons. "That's why were going to Niko's."  Sammy glanced at me uneasily. "Right now? But what if their planning something?" Her voice shook and I knew she was hoping we don't have to fight Baro. "The sooner we get out of here the smallest chance we have of them tracking us down." Ray and Thunder walked towards the door quickly and quietly. Sammy grabbed my arm and clinged onto it. I felt her nails dig into my arm and I winced. "What if Lamar already killed Baro?" I closed my eyes as I slowly said it half hoping they didn't here me. Ray glanced back at me for a long time. ''He wouldn't do that if he was the one who turned him. He wants to use Baro against us."  But Baro wouldn't hurt us right? I looked at the long thivk grass as we passed through a meadow towards the woods. The stars shined brightly above me and I tried with all my might not to fall to my knees and cry. Sammy quickly walked next to Thunder as he beckoned her to him. Ray slowed his pace so that I was walking beside him. "Don't worry, we'll save him. Niko is a perfessional vampire slayer."  Just like my mother... My dad always wanted me to be one but I used to not believe in viloence. I just looked at the grass again and shuddered. Of course they use something so important to me against me. I felt Ray's warm arms go around me comfortingly. This is my time to be brave, I need to man up. I gently wiggled out of Ray's hug and I saw a flash of sadness in his eyes. I'm sory but I need to help him also. Not just stand here and be useless. I walked faster until I caught up to Thunder and Sammy. "Ah! What was that?!" I heard Sammy squeak clinging closer to Thunder as we went into the woods. "It's called a twig snapping under your feet."  I chuckled a little at Sammy as she tried to be brave. Thunder glanced back at me. "Ray fall back to keep watch?" I gulped nervously remembering how I pulled away from him. "Yeah." Thunder raised a eyebrow at me unbelievingly but nodded. "Are we almost here?" I mumbled after a while of constantly ducking under twigs. "Yeah we actually are here." Ray's voice made me jump and he shouldered me out of the way gently. Sammy gave me a confused look. I squinted and I saw a cabin house that looked really old. Thunder and Ray beckoned us to follow as they stepped on the porch. I felt my heart pound and Thunder glanced at Ray.

                                                                                     Ray's POV: I knocked on the door and I heard Momo fidget nervously behind me. Niko opened the door his silver hair in his face. "Ray? Thunder?" He asked his blueish-grayish eyes wide. I waved and he beckoned us inside and Momo blushed as she say Niko. "Oh who is this?" Niko said leaning cooly against the wall and grinning at Momo. "I'm Momo. I am-" Niko laughed and put his arm around my shoulder and gave a evil grin at me. "Your Ray's girlfriend huh?" I felt my face burn and Momo sqeaualed and held her hands up. "N-No!" Niko just gave a  amused chuckle and walked in his small living room that had a lit fire place, knifes and weapons everywhere. Momo sat down on the soft couch next to him. "So you guys didn't decide to visit for no reason huh?" He mumbled laying his head on his hands. "My boyfriend got turned by a vampire and we need to kill him so he will be normal again." Momo mumbled pleadingly. Wait...did she say boyfriend? Jealousy flashed in me and I glanced away from her. I heard chuckling and Niko was shaking his head and he grinned at me. "Well my dear..We'll try and your lucky that Ray and Thunder are my best students. You have until sun down to learn all the basics."  Niko stood up and the orange glow of the fire made him look super pale. Momo stood up to determination in her eyes. Sammy glanced at all the weapons amusedly. Niko followed her gaze. "Well choose your teachers." Niko said grabbing a huge gun that was black and had silver carvings on it. I pulled out my silver gun and squeezed it hard and Niko chuckled and stood beside me. "You still have it? I thought you would loose it."  I just grinned and glanced at Momo who looked like she wanted to say something. "Niko, can you be my teacher?" Momo mumbled shyly. Niko glanced at me with humor in his blue eyes. "Sure. You know, your awfully cute."  Momo blushed and smiled cutely at him. Not fair.. I want to teach her. I felt someone tug on my arm and I spun around and Sammy looked down and was fidgeting with a black gun in her hands. "Can..you be my teacher?"  I nodded and put my arm on her shoulder. I saw a silver blade that was linked with a silver long chain then another blade. "Wow what's that?" I mumbled walking over to it. Niko walked towards the fire place as it hung over it. "This is my gift to you." He handed me it and I felt the warm fire against me. I held the weapon close to me and Momo glanced at me and I looked away from her. I understand if she wants to do this by herself so I will let her. We walked outside and Sammy walked beside me quietly looking around as if a vampire will jump out any time. I put my arm on her shoulder and pulled out my weapon. "A vampire stays in trees so they could jump right on you so keep a eye in the trees."  She nodded and saluted and flipped her brown bangs. I felt a smile spread across my lips. "Momo! Look out!" Niko yelled and I started running up to them and stopped dead as he laughed as Momo let out a terrified scream and shot the gun everywhere. "I'm kidding dumb nut. You shouldn't shoot like that." Niko mumbled holding her close to him lifting her arm up. Anger burned in me and I grinded my teeth. Thunder walked up to me and chuckled. "Someone is jealous."  I shook my head and walked back towards Sammy. "Watch me." I said taking off my black leather jacket. Sammy nodded slowly her brown eyes glued on me. I pulled out the weapon Niko gave me and did a back flip and slashed behind me then slashed the tree leaving a deep gash in it. "Got it?" I mumbled handing it to. Sammy was blushing badly and she didn't even look at me. "Y-yeah. I think so." I glanced at Momo and Niko. Niko pointed the gun at her and she ducked and flipped over him and pretended to shoot him. "Greay job!" He gave her a highfive. I glanced at Sammy who did the backflip with a grunt and I watched carefully. She slashed out and I froze as the blade wrapped around my ankle and I fell hard backwards landing hard on the ground. "I'm sorry! I didn't know it caught you." She covered and helped me up. I stared at her and started laughing. She laughed to and I messed up her hair. "You did it pefectly."  Sammy smiled confidently and shivered. I froze.

                                                           Sammy's POV: Ray stared at me seriously and slowly took off his black jacket and wrapped it around me. I felt my heart race as he smiled warmly. "You might be a slayer but you can still get sick." I just nodded and smiled. Ray did a flip and slashed around him and Thunder went to walk up to him and Ray slashed the blade out at Thunder and it wrapped around his ankle sending him falling to the ground. He looked dazed. "You want to play like that?" He laughed and jumped up with out using his hands and yanked on the chain hard sending Ray crashing into a tree. Momo went wide eyed as she saw them fighting and she jogged over with Niko close behind. "What are they doing?" Her voice squeaked. Ray jumped up and did a flip over Thunder and pretended to punch him and he held out his gun to Thunder's head. Niko clapped and nodded his blonde flippy bangs falling in his face. "Awesome job." Momo sighed with relief and sat down on the springy grass. I sat beside her. "Niko said I was like my mother. He's so sweet." He knew her mother? I nodded in agreement and huddled down in Ray's jacket and the smell of axe surrounded me. "Is that Ray's jacket?"  I looked at Momo who's eyes glowed with jealousy. I gulped and nodded. "He said that he didn't want me to catch a cold." I whispered and Momo nodded even though the jealousy stayed in her blue eyes. The bright sunlight started to peak through the branches casting shadows everywhere. Niko walked up to us and smiled. "I'm starving. Aren't you guys?"  He put his arm around Momo's shoulder with sweat pouring down his  forehead.  "Yeah I am." Momo mumbled patting her tummy. We walked towards the cabin again. Thunder walked by me and shook his head as Ray walked past us angerly. "What happened between them?" I mumbled to him and he shrugged. "Whatever happened it must be driving them both crazy." He put his arm around my shoulder and I looked into his deep brown eyes. I really like Thunder...I just don't know how to tell Mir... I barely even see Mir. "I think Niko likes Momo." I mumbled looking at them as they playfully shoved each other. Thunder chuckled and nodded. "Yeah, Niko is a ladies man. I'm surprise you didn't fall for him." Relief covered his voice and he looked away awkwardly. "It's really making Ray jealous."  Thunder chuckled and pushed me in front of him to walk faster. "Yup, but she is jealous of how close you and Ray seem." I looked at him in shock. We seem close? I looked at his leather jacket. "Oh...Well he didn't want me to get sick." Thunder smiled. We walked inside the cabin and I sat on the soft couch. "So..You guys are singers?" I heard Niko say in the kitchen. "I guess you could say that. We wouldn't do to good because we all decided to drop out of school." Niko laughed and I walked in the kitchen and froze as Niko was in front of the stove shirtless. I looked for Momo who was sitting at the long table and I sat by her. "Oh...my god help me." She covered her eyes as Niko walked over to her and sat across from her. "There is girls here." Thunder mumbled sitting by me. Niko shrugged and nudged Momo. "They don't seem to care." Niko grinned as Momo nodded. Ray glanced at Momo with anger and annoyance in his eyes. "Their just jealous because I have a nicer body then them." Momo glanced at Ray and blushed as his black hair fell in front of his face. I just..realized how hot he is... "Well this isn't awkward." Ray mumbled laying his head on the table. Niko put down a huge plate of spaghetti. "Chow down." He said grabbing a plate and taking some. Thanks I nodded my thanks and grabbed a plate. Momo was already eating hers getting sauce everywhere. Ray rolled his eyes and chuckled. Thunder glanced at me and nudged me. "This is awkward. Niko better watch his self." I nodded in agreement. We all went wide as Niko had a fork full of spaghetti and turned to Momo. "Here you go." Momo blushed and ate it off the fork. Niko gently wiped the sauce off her face. Ray glared at them not even hiding his anger and jealousy anymore. "I'm full." He stood up quickly. Wow.....

                                                  Thunder's POV: Sammy looked at Ray nervously as he walked off. Momo looked down guiltily and stood up. Niko went a little far. She smiled nervously at Niko and walked were Ray went. Niko calmly stared at me as if he excpected us to leave to. "That was to far. Why'd you do that?" I mumbled making sure they couldn't hear. Niko stretched his blonde hair falling his face and yawned. "Momo is cute. It's not like he could acutually get a chance with her. Not to be mean. " He said as I stood up challengingly. I looked down and sighed. He has a point and of he could, he's doing a lousy job. "I better go cool him down." I stood up and walked towards the living room and stopped as Ray was sitting in front of the fireplace. "Ray? You ok?" I mumbled sitting next to him and he glanced at me. "If you think I'm jealous your wrong." He growled at me challengingly. The orange light glowed brightly on his face making his blue eyes look silver. "Well you might not be but seeing you with Sammy made her jealous."  He stared at me unbelievingly. "Well she wants to handle this by herself. So she can so I'm keeping my distance like she wants me to." I heard the sadness in his voice and I put my arm on his shoulder. "You know she wants your help. I don't think she meant it in a mean way." I know Momo secretly likes him. They just don't know how to handle their feelings so they push it back. "Be honest with me. Do you like her?" I whispered and he looked at me wide eyed. "I don't know.. When I see her with Baro I get..jealous but I don't want to hurt her. I don't want to get her into a mess like that."  He looked away awkwardly and I patted him on the back. "You know, I bet if you really wanted to, you could be with her. I'm just saying. If you really like someone you want to always be there for them even if it means getting hurt mentally or phyisacly. But the best type of liking someone or loving them is to watch them walk away each time just to see them smile." I closed my eyes to hide the tears. I do that for Sammy.. I opened my eyes and Ray had tears in his blue eyes. I went wide eyed and he gave me a huge hug. "You should tell her how you feel Thunder." I nodded and smiled at him. "Come on." I stood up and he confusedly stood up to. "Your going to sort this out with Momo." I mumbled grabbing his arm and pulling him through the hallway. He tried jerking away but I kept a firm grip on him. I think Momo went in Niko's room. I froze as I heard voices on the other side. "Thanks for everything Niko. The advice you gave helped to."  I glanced at Ray who was so serious and frozen. "Well no problem. I don't mind at all." He said gently. What is he planning. "That means alot. I wish their was a way to pay you back.'" I went wide and Ray was about to reach for the door handle and I put my arm out to hold him back. She's not that stupid..."Well there is one way." I heard him say softly and I heard her surprise gasp. "Well....What?" It was silent and I held my breath. "Your a cute girl Momo. Your just my type to, don't worry about the other boys." I went wide and so did Ray. With a annoyed glance at me he opened the door. I froze as Momo had her lips pressed against Ray. "M-Momo?" Ray choked out and I stared at him. He looked so defeated... He ran over to Niko and pushed him away from her and slammed him against the wall. "What do you think your doing?" He growled with the blade right against his neck. Momo's eyes was wide with surprise and she looked at me completely lost. "Come on, you should back off. Isn't it clear that I like her?" Ray glared at him and he punched him hard in the face sending him flying backwards. Momo ran over to Niko wide eyed. Ray just watched her sadly and I couldn't help but look down.  Momo stared at Ray and she gave a tiny smile then ran towards him with her arms open. "I'm sorry." She whispered as she ran into his arms. Ray just looked at her and Niko sat up with nothing but anger in his eyes. "Fine..I see how it is." He calmly stood up and his smile appeared again. "I just really like you. But I know you like Ray." She turned beat red and Ray didn't react. "N-No! He was just upset and I wanted to comfort him."  Niko laughed and Sammy walked in slowly and looked around. "What did I miss this time?" We all laughed.

                                                                           Baro's POV: I clung onto the branch and watched carefully. I'm lucky I found them walking around. I squinted closer at them and I could make out five people. Momo was one of them and she was calmly walking with Ray and some boy with silver hair. I jumped a little as Lamar jump beside me with his red eyes glowing. "They know something is going to happen. They came with the best vampire slayer around here." I tensed up and watched them as they walked right underneath us. I will kill them..I can't wait to taste their amazing blood. Lamar stared at me for a long time. "Can I trust you with this task? Me and Haley will be close by if you need help." I nodded and jumped down on the ground. The darkness surrounded me and I still heard their footsteps and I could smell their sweet blood. I don't know why they want to go along with this. Their wasn't anything good happening to me when I was good. Now that I'm with Lamar, I feel like I belong here. I heard the other vampires watching me from the trees. Now.. I said in my head. They jumped down and we had Momo and them surrounded. "There so many of them.." Momo whispered holding her gun close to her. I walked out slowly and they all went wide. Momo stared at me in dismay. "There you all are. We've been waiting for you." I mumbled with the vampires closing in. I nodded once and they all leaped towards them. I have to settle something.. I searched for the person through all the shrieks of pain and the shot of guns. I saw his black hair. He was wrestling a vampire on the ground. He pulled out a blade and slashed it out at it. It wrapped around its neck and Ray yanked hard sending her head flying towards the woods. I leaped on him and raked him hard across the face and he grabbed me and flipped me off his back. I crashed hard on the ground and stood up quickly. "You took her from me!" I yelled charging at him and I punched him hard in the face and he flew hard against the tree making it shake. He stood up shakily. "No..I didn't. She loves you." No she doesn't... I growled and charged at him again but he flipped over me and I felt the slash of the blade on my shoulder. I felt it dip deeper and I screamed in pain as he pulled me close to him. He lifted me by the front of my shirt. "We all miss you. She can't stand you being like this. We all wanted to go after you." He slammed me down and punched me in the face. Pain surged in me and I pulled the blade out and blood poured from it. I bit my tongue to stop me from screaming. Did they really want to help me? I stared at him and he squeezed the blade ready to cut me again. I ran off in a different direction and I froze as I saw Thunder fighting Haley. He grabbed her and flipped her over his shoulder sending her crashing down. He had blood pouring from him and he froze as he saw me. Haley slowly got up and leaped at him and I heard the sickning snap as she squeezed it. Thunder let out a scream of pain and rage. She slammed him against a tree and her fangs came out. I charged out and grabbed her and yanked her off him and she spun around her red eyes glowing with anger. "Trater!" She ran full speed at me and slammed me against the tree and held me there . I tried wiggling under her but she stayed there. "Your punishment is seeing him get killed." She whispered in my ear. I looked deep in her red eyes and saw triumph in them. "Thunder!" I screamed trying to get out of her grip. Lamar appeared behind Thunder. Thunder quickly turned around and shot his gun. I felt my heart stop as I saw a knife go through his chest. Haley laughed and let me go. I ran towards Thunder and Lamar chuckled and glared at me. "It is your fault." He started panting and I saw a huge wound on him. He limped and I heard his un even breathing. "Baro..." Thunder choked. He grabbed my shirt. Ray and the others ran towards us. "Thunder!" They all screamed. I felt tears stream down my cheeks. "Thunder hang in their. We are going to help you."  Momo stared at me wide eyed for a moment and bent down to Thunder and riped her shirt and pressed it on his wound. "You'll be ok, you hear me!"

                                                                 Momo's POV: I felt my heart pound as the blood started bleeding through the cloth. I looked at Sammy who was crying so hard that she was shaking. "W-what..do we do?" She yelled in panic. I looked at Ray who had dropped his gun and his  hands were shaking. Ray bent down to Thunder and grabbed his bloody hand. "You can't..leave me." Ray said his voice cracking and I saw the tears stream down his face. Thunder spitted up blood and he looked at me then Ray. "Stay with..me when I-" Ray hushed him and I saw his blue eyes filled with tears. "Your going to live. Were going to be together for many more years to come. Your my brother." I saw the tears in Thunder's eyes and Sammy bent down to him and pressed her lips to his. Niko had his mouth covered and a tear streamed down his face. "M-momo.. Thank.. you for being my friend..." I put my head gently on his cold hands. "Thunder....please don't leave me..."  He smiled for a moment after looking at us and slowly closed his eyes. His hand slowly fell out of Ray's. I heard him gasp and I saw his shaking hand. "He...can't be gone... He's just sleeping.." I said my voice cracking. Sammy was looking down her brown hair in her face. Baro was frozen for a long time. Ray slowly stood up and glared at him. "You!" Ray grabbed Baro by the front of his shirt and lifted him off the ground. Baro's eyes was full of tears. "I'm...sorry..I tried." I felt my heart break as Ray slammed him down. Niko put his hand on me and Ray's shoulder. "We got to burry him. Before Lamar comes and kills us." Anger bubbled up in me and I stood up and faced him. "My best friend died and all you care about it yourself!" I yelled and I saw shock and regret in his face. "Lamar's probally dead by now. Thunder shot him." Baro whispered looking at us. Lamar's dead? I stared at Ray who barely even listened to him. I felt tears in my eyes as I saw his tears. I...I don't know why my heart is breaking even more seeing him  like this.. I froze as I heard Thunder's voice. : You love him. I looked at Ray and scooted closer to him and gave him a huge hug. I felt his wet tears on my shirt. "We got to bury him." He said finally wiping the tears away. Niko nodded and pushed us both away gently. "I'll do it. You guys go somewhere and relax." I nodded and forced myself to turn away. I looked at Sammy who slowly follwed shakily. "I loved him." Ray stopped dead and stared at him wide eyed. "He loved you to." She let out a whine and ran ahead of us. I watched her run off and slowly started walking with Ray. "He's in a better place. He doesn't have to worry about this anymore."  Ray stared at me and I saw tears in his eyes. "Yeah..Your right. But he..was like a brother." We walked out to the huge meadow and the stars seemed to shine brighter. He sat down on the grass and looked at the stars. "At least he didn't die in vain." I mumbled and Ray stared at me with jealousy in his eyes. "you mean bringing Baro back to normal?" He..really is jealous. "Yes..." I looked away and I still saw him staring at me. "Do..you still love him? Please tell me." I looked at him in surprise as his voice cracked. Does..he feel the same. I grabbed his hand and squeezed it. "No...I love you."  I said he stared at me wide  eyed and a tear ran down his cheek and he intwined his finger with mine. "I love you to."
