Unconditional Love
Months passed, Tiffany slowly let go of Sooyoung, she went back to her normal life, went to work as usual. And she slowly opened her heart for her other best friend.
Tiffany POV
I stood beside my girlfriend's grave. I caressed the headstone and trying hard not to cry in front of her.
"Sooyoungie, i miss you, you know that?"
"i miss you so much, baby.."
"every single time that i spent without you by my side was a hard time.."
No matter how hard i try, in the end, my tears keep escaping from my eyes. I can't hold it, suddenly i recalled back every moment with her, reminiscing it. How i miss this girl.
"Sooyoungie, do you mind if i open my heart for someone else?"
"but still you have a special place in my heart, and this place could never replace by anyone else, i promise.."
I finally arrived at home, i found Yuri stood in the balcony with her back facing me. Seemed she didn't notice my presence. I stepped closer and i saw her holding her phone and pressing it to her ear, trying to call someone.
I took one step closer to her and hugged her from behind. I buried my face into her back as she turned around to face me.
"where have you been?" she asked worriedly
"why didn't you turn on your phone? I was so worried.." she added
"i'm sorry.." i looked up
"i came to visited Sooyoung.." i added and she just nodded
"i love Sooyoung and i don't think i can forget her.." i encircled her waist and put my chin on her shoulder
"no, don't be. Don't forget her, you're not supposed to forget her.." she wrapped her arms around me
"someone who already died could only live in our heart, so don't ever try to forget about Sooyoung because she could only live in our heart. Especially in your heart.." she added
I broke the hug and looked deeply in her eyes. I'm sure that she's the one who could say that kind of words, she's the one who letting me love Sooyoung till whenever. Yeah, Yuri is the one who has a big heart, and i'm glad she's with me.
I then closed the gap between us, i tip toe, closed my eyes and kissed her lips slowly. She seemed shocked because she didn't move at all. But after few seconds she finally gave in and returned the kiss.
It feels so right. Her tender lips feel so good. I could feel a sincerity in her, in her eyes, in her words, in her action, and in her heart.
"let's take it slow, Yuri.."
Pause.
Seemed like she's processing my words to understand it.
"don't push yourself to me, Tiff. I love you, but i don't want you to be forced.."
"no, Yuri. I want to face the world with you, spending my time together with you.." i held her hand
She sighed and smiled warmly at me.
"Tiff, i'll be waiting, don't worry.." she cupped my face
"you need more time to open your heart again, and accept another love. I understand.." she stared lovingly at me
"it doesn't matter if you need 5 years, 10, 20, or even a hundred. I'm always here waiting for you.." she said softly
I couldn't help but hugged her in an instant, hugged her tightly and never want to let go. How could a person like her was exist in this world? And how could a person like her willing to do anything for me? She must be a gift from God.
"thank you, Yuri.."
"thank you so much for understanding me always.."
Once again, i fall in love with my own best friend.
