Kris keep thinking about Seohyun and the first time he saw himself smile, a real pure smile like what it means. He feel that she like his mother. Pure and beautiful. He guess that he made her scare because everyone said so and his cold face like ice even made him scare. Seohyun did scare a little but not because his face but the way he stare at her.
