It was raining when they first met.

Daehyun was just running an errand for Yongguk to visit Himchan, since the latter was hospitalized because of his appendix surgery. If not for a free lunch Yongguk had promised him before he won't step out from his apartment. He hated rain with every cell in his body. Cursing his way to Himchan's assigned room he plugged his earphone to block out the pattering sound of rain from his ears and blast it off to almost maximum volume.

When he reached the room and opened it, he was greeted with Himchan's ever-so wide rabbit smile and an "at last a visitor aside from Gukkie!" squeal-like tone. He sighed and turned off his ipod and unplugged the earphone to talk to his "mother", since that's what he came here for.

After saying whatever Yongguk told him to say to his beloved (blah) wife and give him the flower bouquet, he scanned the room's surroundings for the first time. And that's when he noticed the blonde haired man for the first time.

The said man was sitting on his bed, facing the window with his right hand tapping in rythm with the raindrop slowly. The curtain was opened, giving a scenery rainy Seoul City. As if sensing that someone was looking at him he turned his head and soon Daehyun's eyes met a pair of dark brown orbs. He didn't know why he freezed when he did, his whole system is shutting out, and all he can see was the man's void eyes. It's as if those eyes were seeing through him and that for a reason and another made his knees weak.

The man's hair was quite long, reaching past his chin, with platinum blonde colour. His nose was small, with prominent lips, and fair complexion. Daehyun had almost mistaken him for a ghost if not for his chest that rising and falling steadily.

He didn't know what made him stare at the stranger for so long, or how long he stared until Himchan tugged at his sleeve and demanded a vase to put the flowers on. Reluctantly agreeing he stepped out from the room. But then he felt the urge to turn around when he reached the door, for some reason and what not, so he did that before he even realized it. And the man was still looking at the rainy window, fingers still tapping to the sound of raindrops.

The first thing that came to Daehyun's mind was how lonely the sight of the man was.
