Flashback

5 years old you dressed up in a white dress.

"Aigoo, you look so cute. Be nice and have a lot of yummy food, okay?" your Aunty said as she fixed up your shoes. You nodded.

At the dinner

You sat down on your seat as adults chatted and laughed. You felt left out. Aunty placed some food in your bowl.

"-------------, eat up. It is very yummy" she put a piece of beef in front of your mouth. You opened your mouth wide and ate it. It was delicious.

As you drank your juice, you felt something tug your legs. You looked under the table and saw a boy. You went to join him.

"So your the girl that my dad have been talking about. My parents are very close to your Aunty" he said.

You nodded shyly.

"So what is your name? I'm Kai"

"I'm ---------------"

You heard Aunty call for you. You waved goodbye and left him under the table.

2 years later

You sat on the park bench quietly reading.Reading and drawing were your hobbies. It was all peaceful until some boys came running around crazily. You quickly recognized one of them.

"Yo -----------------. What are you doing? Being a nerd?" Kai yelled. The group of boys laughed. You walked away with your book in your hands, tightly. You were reading your mum's diary, the only thing left from her.

The boys blocked your way. Kai snatched the book from you.

"Hey! Give it back!" you said.

"Woah, you can talk! First time I heard such an ugly voice" he said.

You tried snatching it back but Kai was too quick. You chased him around the park until Kai chucked the diary into a puddle of mud. You stared in horror as the book became dirty and wet. You pushed him away and went to get it.

Kai looked at you as you stumbled into the mud and cried. "Oi, boys. Come" he said and they flicked mud and dirt on you. You tried protecting the diary but it was already so drenched. They finally stopped and allowed you to get out and cry.

"Cry baby" he finally said and left you.

"I HATE YOU" were the last words you said to him until you met him again in highschool
