“Ang ganda ganda nya ano?”

“Syempre naman. Maganda kasi ang mommy nya eh.”

Gwen and Robbie could not contain their happiness everytime they stare at Elise, their new blessing.

“Robbie, sana lumaki syang masunuring bata at may takot sa Dyos.” Gwen says.

“Oo naman . Magiging mabuti tayong mga magulang sa kanya.” He kisses Gwen on her head and carried Elise. “Napaka-fragile nya, nakakatakot parang mapipisa.”

“Di bale, hindi natin mamamalayan naglalakad na sya.” She smiles.

“Hello baby Elise, si Daddy ito. Ang ganda ganda ng baby ko.” He says with pride. “Gwen magpahinga ka na, ako na ang bahala dito magligpit.” He adds.

“Sigurado ka? Oh sige medyo nahihilo ako at kumikirot ang tahi ko, buti na lang pumayag ang doktor na makauwi ako agad.” She utters.

Gwen fell asleep as well as Elise and Robbie was left awake. He sterilized the feeding bottles and put the right amount of water each, before he sleeps he made sure that everything is well prepared. He filed an indefinite leave to look after Gwen and Elise during their crucial stage. After helping him finish the chores, he let Nanna Luz rest too. Robbie entered their room and saw the two girls in his life sleeping, he can’t help but smile as he realized that he is raising his family well so far.

In the morning, Gwen faced the other side of the bed and found out Robbie wasn’t there, she stood up, scratched her eyes and saw him standing in front of Elise’s crib and humming some lullaby. “Robbie, nakatulog ka ba?”

“Oo naman. Pero parang ayoko nga mawala sa paningin ko si Elise kaya pagising gising rin ako para i-check. Ikaw kamusta ang pakiramdam mo? Handa na ang breakfast, hinanda na ni Nanna.” He says.

“Sige sabay na lang tayo maya maya, palitan ko muna ng diaper si baby.”

Gwen changed Elise’s diaper and fed to her . “Sabi ng doktor dapat hanggang two years old mag- feed sya.” She adds.

Robbie lay down to the bed too, grabbed a camera and took a photo of them. He acted like he is jealous so he removed the other side of Gwen’s shirt and her s too. “Robbie ano ka ba, parang kang timang. Tumigil ka nga dyan. Uubusan mo pa si Elise.” She says.

“Sundan na kaya natin iyan?” he naughtily says.

“Loko loko!”  she smiles. “Elise oh, ang naughty ng Daddy mo. Isara mo na nga yan Robbie!” she mutters.

“Kiss muna!” he smiles.

“Paano ko kikilos kita mong hawak ko itong bata.” She hastily says.

Robbie faced in front of her, and gave her a passionate kiss. She held his head with the other arm and shook their nose together. “I love you.” Gwen whispered.

“I love you too.” And he leaned forward to reach for Elise’s cheek and kissed it.

 Nanna Luz knocked on the door, “Robbie?” she calls. “Oh, inakyat ko na itong almusal nyo para hindi na bumaba si Gwen. Tawagin nyo na lang ako kapag may kailangan kayo ah.” She stares at Elise and say. “Napakagandang biyaya.”

“Robbie, malapit na ang birthday mo. Gusto ko isabay ang binyag nya sa araw na yun.” Gwen says.

“Oo ba. Maganda yan para isahang gastos na lang. Hayaan mo, kapag nakakakilos ka na at saka natin planuhin.”

“Kailan ka ba babalik sa trabaho?” she asks.

“Eh siguro mga isa o dalawang linggo pa, depende.”

At the middle of their conversation, Mommy Celine with Michael and Mamapet arrived bringing fruits for them. “Hello Gwen, kamusta na anak?”

“Okay naman Mommy, nakakabawi na rin po ng lakas. Ang galing kasi magalaga ng mister ko eh.” She looked at Robbie amazingly.

“Naku talaga naman. Nasaan na ba ang bagong prinsesa?” Mamapet excitedly says.

“Hali po kayo nasa taas.” Gwen says.

Mamapet carried Elise and say, “Hello princess. Dati ang Mommy Gwen mo ang princess, ngayon ikaw na. O Gwen huwag ka magselos ha.”

“Hindi naman Mamapet.” She laughs.

“Syempre ikaw pa rin ang prinsesa ko, si Elise ang prinsesita.” Robbie interrupts and everybody laughs.

“Kamuka ko yata ah, ang puti puti. Michael meet your niece Elise. You will play together and you should love her, okay?” Celine says.

“She is pretty.” Michael says and kisses the baby.

Someone is knocking on the door again, it is Steve, with a huge pink teddy bear and a plastic bag of infant toys with him. “Nasaan ang apo ko?” he says. “Pasensya na Gwen hindi ako nakadalaw sa ospital, nasa Cebu kasi ako para sa isang operation, hahabol sana ako kaya lang nakalabas ka na. O heto pasalubong.” He kisses Gwen’s forehead.

Steve saw his beautiful granddaughter, “Ano bang pangalan ng apo ko?”

“Elise po Tay.” Gwen answers.

“Aba, kamuka ko ah. Ang bilog din mana sa lolo.” He laughs. “Maswerte ang batang ito, may mga mabubuting magulang. Gwen, Robbie, alagaan nyo sya ng mabuti ha.”

“Oo naman po Tay.” Robbie says.”O teka teka kumpleto tayo ah, buti pa dito na lang kayo maglunch. Tamang tama namalengke si Nanna Luz kanina, magpapaluto ako.” He adds.

“Oo nga Mommy, Tay, Mamapet, dito na po kayo maglunch.”
