Day Three decides it.

Luhan breaks when he realises Sehun can’t even stay five days with him.

He shouldn’t have said anything.

He should have just pretended he didn’t see it.

He should have…but he didn’t.

“Sehun…”

“Yes, Luhan.”

“What happened?”

“When?”

“…for you to stop loving me?”

For you to stop hugging me.

For you to stop kissing me.

For you to stay back late at work or god knows where without telling me!

For you to go ing cheating on me with Jongin, out of all people!

The last one should catch Sehun off guard, but it doesn’t. Luhan’s senses now tell him that Sehun knew that he was there – in the park.

It should hurt him.

But now it doesn’t.

“You just don’t understand.”

“Then tell me!”

Luhan’s voice turns into a shriek as all the tension he’s been trying to ignore suddenly comes flooding back.

Tell me why you don’t love me.

No. Don’t tell me that. I don’t care.

Tell me why you’re dragging me on.

So you could hurt me?

Sehun’s eyes appear to be holding something back. Luhan can’t tell if its tears or not, but he hasn’t seen him cry once since this whole ing thing started.

“Luhan…I do lov-”

“Shut up! You don’t!”

“I d-”

“Why were you with him then? Why were you with Jongin?”

“…I can’t tell you…”

Sehun looks as if he’s telling the truth, but Luhan just doesn’t understand. He knows Sehun loves him. He knows that something’s not right, and Sehun isn’t this sort of person. He just wishes Sehun would tell him, just like when…hyung…I’ve been hiding it for a while now…but I really like you.

He wishes that that had been the last and only secret Sehun had kept from him. He watches Sehun’s face for any clues…anything…

Then something changes.

Sehun.

“…you’re right hyung…” It seems like he can’t even get the words out, he’s choking on something – his own guilt?

“I don’t love you.”

Luhan’s world shatters.

Not because Sehun didn’t love him.

It was a lie. He knew.

It was because he had said otherwise.

And it was a lie.

“I don’t love you, Luhan. I stopped loving you a while…ago.”

“Sehun, please…don’t lie…”

“You wondered where I was that night, why I was home late?”

“You said wor-”

“I was with him.”

I don’t want this to end.

“I don’t love you.”
