Previously on 'The Guy Next Door'...

"Krystal, I'm s-sorry" he said in between heavy breathing. But before she could even talk back, Kai instantly took her arms as he brought her in for a kiss.

They kissed...again.

She didn't like the idea of their lips touching, she didn't like it at all. Though, somewhere deep within her heart, her feelings, the emotions and the tension, she loved it all. Could she possible be in love? Instead of Krystal breaking off the kiss, Kai did it instead which made Krystal somehow upset. 

"I'm sorry that wasn't meant to happen" he said as he scratched the back of his neck, obviously ashamed. 

Krystal just stood there, her fingers slightly touching her lips that were just kissed by Kai. By then, she couldn't control her feelings. She knew it, she knew what was happening. The signs showed it all. The uncontrollable beating heart, the heartbreaking scene when witnessing the kiss with Naeun and now the pain of earning for another kiss. She was in love. Krystal was in love with Kai. 

The two silently stood there without uttering a single word. Not even thinking, Krystal slightly pushed Kai back making him stumble as she hurriedly shut the door infront of her. Her eyes suddenly widened as she cursed to herself with her stupid behaviour. With a hand still attached at the back of his neck, Kai stood there, dumbfounded.

Meanwhile, thinking it was a rejection Kai made his way back to Genie High when suddenly his phone beeped. Thinking it was another threat message from angry Kris, Kai decided to ignore the text message as he continued walking back. Opening the door to his dorm, Kai found Kris soundly asleep while Chanyeol was copying some dance moves from TVXQ's 'Catch Me' choreography. Embarrassed and blushing, Chanyeol hurriedly shut the lid of his laptop where he made his way towards Kai. 

"Hey, where were you?" He smiled, taking a seat beside Kai. 

Kai shrugged as he turned his head over to Kris, making sure he was asleep. 

"I kissed Krystal" He whispered making Chanyeol's eyes bigger than it already was.

The two basked in silence, with Chanyeol still shocked. Just then, the other members entered the dorm after eating with Sulli and Jieun. Luhan and Baekhyun smiled as they headed towards the bathrooms while Sehun felt a little suspicious. 

"What's with that face of your's Chanyeol? It's like someone stole your food" Sehun said rather confused.

Kai nudged Chanyeol making him wake up from his small trance.

"It's nothing" he said rather awkwardly whilst waving his hands as if he was innocent. 

In the meantime, Krystal sighed as she paced back and fourth in the dorm. Sulli and Jieun who just came back from eating dinner with the guy's watched as Krystal started panicking. 

"What if he didn't see the message. Or even worse, decides to ignore it!" Sulli grabbed Krystal's shoulders as she instructed her to calm down. 

"Breathe Krystal, breathe!" Jieun said as she took a few breaths followed by Krystal. 

After calming down, Sulli and Jieun brought Krystal over to the couch where they sat down and talked. 

"Okay, are you sure your touched the sent button" Jieun asked ever so slowly, as Krystal read over the message. 

"Yes, I did!" she said, as she showed the message to the two.

"Don't worry,  I can handle this!" Sulli smiled as she fixed Krystal's hair. 

Back at Genie High, Luhan and Sehun were having a conversation while Baekhyun and Kris were surfing the net. Chanyeol who was still shocked over the kiss with Krystal and Kai sighed when suddenly his phone rang. The ringing of the phone seemed to catch the eye of everyone else around the room as they turned their heads over to Chanyeol. 

"Chanyeol you're loved! You got a call!" Baekhyun joked while Chanyeol smiled. 

Checking who was calling, a wide grin appeared on his face. Sulli was calling him. Stepping outside of the room, Chanyeol made his way towards the school lobby where he took the call. 

"Ayyyyyyyyyeeeeeee y laadaaayyyyy!" Chanyeol sang over the line, making people around the lobby stare at him. 

Sulli, Jieun and Krystal who was listening to the conversation tried to hold in their laughter as they heard someone telling off Chanyeol to shutup. 

"Chanyeol, are you there?" Sulli said over the line. Chanyeol headed towards a more better place where he nodded and smiled. 

"Yep! What's up?" he said in a happy tone. 
 

Kai silently cursed to himself as he walked alone in the park after sneaking out of the dorms. He regretted the he didn't see the message from Krystal earlier asking him to meet her. All he did was just hope that Chanyeol's words were right and that Krystal was really meeting him in the park. Just then, the sound of someone sneezing was heard making Kai run to the sound. There stood Krystal standing underneath a post light, rubbing her arms from the cold night air. Without even thinking, Kai ran towards Krystal leaving only little space in between them. 

"Kai" Krystal faintly said, her cheeks slowly burning to crimson. 

"Yes Krystal?" He said at an almost whisper tone, only for her to hear. 

The two stared at each other's eyes, when suddenly Krystal did the impossible. Pulling his scarf that was wrapped around his neck towards her, Krystal applied her thin lips onto his. The two kissed. It was shocking for him but it was also pleasant. Enjoying the kiss they shared, Krystal finally came to her senses and suddenly dropped her hands away from her scarf making Kai smirk. 

"I guess we're a couple now, Miss Jung" He teased making Krystal blush. 

"I guess we are" She shyly smiled as he wrapped his toned arms around her small shoulders.

Little did they know that Jieun, Sulli, Chanyeol and Kris who were hiding behind the park's bushes witnessed the whole scene and were silently cheering to themselves.

"Man, it's deja vu all over again!" Chanyeol smiled receiving a pat on the back from Sulli. 

"If it wasn't for you this would've had happened" Sulli smiled making Chanyeol feel proud.

"Well, it if-" Chanyeol was cutt off by Kris.

"He may be a pain in the , but I know he could do good. My little sister's growing up! I approve!" Kris smiled, leaving the other three laughing.
