I woke up this morning to laughter and excitement right outside my door. Aishh, what time is it?..

Before I could check, I heard a small tapping on my door. “Uh, Sunny? Are you up yet?”

It was Mochi. Aishh! My hair, my face, I’m still in the clothes from yesterday?? YAHH!

“Uh, yes?” I said unsure. I sat up in my bed feeling thirsty and extremely hungry.
“May I come in?” he asked in a small voice.

“Ne. Come in.” I said trying to fix my hair and make sure my breath didn’t smell. He opened the door slowly and I remembered why there was so much noise, he and his hyungs had slept over last night.

“Good afternoon Sunny,” he said with a smile that made me melt right into the mattress. Then I realized what he had said. Afternoon??

My eyes were probably as big as Mochi’s cheeks. “Did you say afternoon??” He nodded.

“Aishh, I’m way late for work.” I got out of bed a little too fast before everything started going back. I felt Mochi catch me before I fell and he placed me back on the bed.

“Hey, easy now. You still haven’t fully recovered. Not to mention that you haven’t eaten in…15 hours.” He laughed nervously.

“But my work! My boss! He’s going to be very displeased.” I said imagining getting a phone call telling me I was fired.

“Don’t worry about that, Teukkie called in to the work place with the doctor. He managed to give you a month off with pay!” Mochi said excitedly.

“Teukkie also decided it was best that we all take a month off from our own schedules to help care for you. The doctor said the poisoning and allergic reaction could’ve been fatal and said it was best if you had someone to watch over you for a while,” he explained more.

“But how did you know I was on my own?” I immediately felt stupid for asking such an obvious question. ”Oh, nevermind hehe.”

He smiled at my mistake. “Yes so for the mean time, we’re all looking after you. Do you mind? The hyungs have been wanting to know if it was alright and whether we were intruding or not.” He looked down embarrassed that he had to do his hyungs dirty work.

“Ne, ne. It’s perfectly fine,” I smiled at him.

“Really?” his face lit up and I could see the little kid in his eyes.

“Yes,” I laughed.

“Oh! Fishy cooked this morning, but you weren’t up and he felt sad. But then he made lunch and now you’re up!” he said happily. He got off the end of the bed and said, “I’ll tell him you woke up. I’ll be back, ok?”

“Okay,” I said as he left. Is it just me, or is he really happy today? Hmm, well maybe I should wash up a little. I got up off the bed, slowly this time, and went to the restroom. I was washing my face when I heard laughter again and couldn’t help but smile. I came out of the restroom in my dirty shirt and jeans from yesterday to a very happy Fishy.

“You’re up!” he said holding a tray of delicious smelling food and my stomach growled. I smiled at him embarrassed.

“Haha, here. You need to eat.” He took a hold of my hand and brought me to the kitchen. Well what was the point of him bringing food to my room?? Aigoo…it’s so quiet… When I arrived in the kitchen I was greeted by happy yelling once again. I heard someone say Happy Birthday and smiled.

“My birthday isn’t until next week, hehe.” I said. All their eyes went wide and, ever so slowly, mischievous grins started to form on their faces, even Mochi!

“Am I going to regret telling you that?” I asked nervously.

“That depends on what you call a good time, and what WE call a good time,” said Dark Kyu winking at me. My face must’ve turned bright red because Minnie swatted his arm and said, “Why must you always do that to girls??”

“I don’t have to try, usually it’s all on them,” smiled Dark Kyu evilly.

“Yah! You’re going to steal her from Hen—Mochi!” teased Cloud.

Teukkie glared at Cloud before telling me to eat. I sat down and Mochi sat next to me.

“Mmm, Fishy this is really good,” I complimented Fishy’s cooking and dug in to my plate. I didn’t realize how quiet it was until I went to get some iced tea from the fridge. They’re all staring at me…what did I do?

“Wow, she sure can eat,” said Raccoon. Aishh! I must’ve looked like a pig back there!

“Anybody else want tea?” I asked the group before coming back to the table.

“I do!”

“Me too!”

”Please?”

”Bring it here!” I brought the pitcher of juice to the table and Teukkie asked, “So is it alright if we stay with you? You don’t mind us watching over you do you?”

“No, not at all! I would’ve been all alone here anyway. I needed company.”

“Where is everyone anyway?” asked Eagle.

“Yeah, where are your parents that we saw in the pictures?” queried Snow White.

“Are you an only child?” asked Pooh Bear, getting seconds.

“Where are your friends?” asked Cinderella.

“Where did you meet Mochi?” asked Cloud.

“When did you meet him?” asked Ryeonggoo.

“What music do you listen to?” asked SImba.

“Well don’t you guys have a lot of questions? Hehe, well everyone is on summer holiday and I decided to stay home. My parents are on summer holiday in the USA. I am an only child. My friends went on summer holiday to France and I met Mochi in the Coffee Café where I work. I met him two days ago. And I listen to Super Junior.” I smiled as I thought of the band. I looked up to see their faces in disbelief. “What?” I asked all of them.

“N-nothing,” said Fishy. “You like Super Junior?”

“Well yes, have you heard of them? I love their new video It’s You. Have you guys seen it?” I stared at the guys waiting for an answer.

“Uh yes, it’s a very nice one,” said Cinderella.

“Well are we all done? I need to shower and fix this mess on my shirt,” I said putting away my dishes.

“I was just going to suggest that,” smirked Cinderella.

I stuck out my tongue at Kim Cherry and went to my room. Mochi followed.

“Your hyungs are very interesting,” I said. “Not to mention their names.” I was puzzled as to why they called themselves what they did.

“Why do they give themselves such silly nicknames?” I asked Mochi who was staring at my wall devoted to Henry Lau and my other wall who was covered with Super Junior posters.

“Oh, hehe, I kind of love them you know?” I chuckled nervously which brought his attention back.

“They’re a great band,” he smiled at me.

“Well get out of my room now, I have to clean up.” I said to him gently.

“Omo, I’m sorry.” He said as he walked out of the door.

Aigoo, he’s so sweet. I smiled to myself before going into the bathroom.

(Mochi’s POV)

I walked out of her room and after she locked herself in the bathroom I ran to my hyungs.

“Hyungs! Come with me! We’re in trouble…” they all followed me to Sunny’s room and I showed them The Walls.

“…” They made no sound, they just stared in disbelief.

“Teuk-hyung, I think we need to tell her before things get too serious here,” I said.

“Serious??” questioned Zhou Mi. “You really like her Hen?”

“Ne.” I said sitting on the edge of her bed with my chin on my fists, contemplating how I was going to go about telling her.

“No, Henry I’ll tell her,” said Leeteuk in a serious tone. “I’ll tell her when I think she deserves to know.”

“Really hyung?” I asked, shocked. I stood up and hugged him like he hugged me last night. “Gomawo!”

“Ne, ne. Now I think we should get out of here before--”

“AHH!! What are you all doing in here??” Sunny yelled at all of us. We all turned red since she was only in a towel. We all ran out of her room giving our apologies, except Kyuhyun. He just walked out without saying anything, he just smirked. Sunny on the other hand slammed her door and came out 15 minutes later, fully clothed with hair and makeup fixed. She sat down angrily on the couch in front of the TV. None of us had the balls to sit next to her after what happened…except Kyuhyun. What the hell is he trying to do? He knows I like her, why is he trying so hard to make me jealous?? With that, I sat down beside Sunny and apologized for what happened. “I just wanted to show them your wall of posters…they thought it was interesting. Sunny please forgive me…” I pleaded her.

“I understand, I was just shocked that you all were in my room. Then I flipped out because all I had was a towel. It was very…embarrassing. Of course my angry side came out and I lashed in your faces. I’m sorry too.” She was sorry?? Before I knew it she was hugging me and I couldn’t help but smile like an idiot. I hugged her back and when I did, the hyungs all started whooping and clapping. Sunny turned around bright red to look at them and started giggling. I heard Kyuhyun snort on the other sofa and I looked at him. He looked at me and started laughing. Babo. Then all the guys came over and sat down, seeing that it was safe to be around her again.

(Kyu’s POV)

I saw Sunny come out of the shower but didn’t care to tell the others. I may be labeled ‘evil’ but I still love a good rage tantrum. Then the expected happened. She yelled and screamed…and yelled some more. I just walked out and played it cool, I didn’t even say sorry! HA!

We all went to the kitchen and everyone shut up when she sat in the livingroom in front of the TV. Now, before I confuse anyone, I am STRICTLY trying to help Henry. He’s so shy. I swear. So I do what really got to him. I went into the livingroom and sat on the other couch. Bingo. I smiled to myself when Henry came to sit by Sunny and glared at me when he started to explain why we were all in her room. She hugged him and he had the cutest little shocked face I’ve ever seen, until he had the widest smile spread over his face. The kitchen erupted with celebration and Sunny, probably forgetting we were all here let go of Hen and giggled at them. Henry on the other hand, glared at me. His glare couldn’t beat mine, for one reason, HIS CHEEKS! Seeing him pout just made me laugh!

The guys all made their way over to the livingroom now. I honestly didn’t see what they were so afraid of. It was just Sunny, who looked like she wouldn’t kill a fly.

“What are the plans for today, Teukkie?” Sunny asked Leeteuk. Aishh, I get why we have to keep our stage names a big secret right now but ugh, why did everyone pick so oblivious nicknames?? I have way too many so it was easy, but the others? Cloud? Eagle? No wonder she was asking Henry about why we have such ridiculous nicknames…because they ARE ridiculous. I couldn’t help but be attracted to Sunny’s smile, and I’m pretty sure I wasn’t the only one. Every time she smiled everyone else would too…even Heechul! I was very surprised when I found out he had grown a liking to her. It’s not often when you find someone who can put up with Ms. Cinderella over there.

“What do you think Dark Kyu?” Sunny asked me, breaking my train of thought. I looked at her blankly. I had lost track of the conversation and didn’t know what in the world she was talking about.

“What?” I asked.

“We were thinking of going to Lotte World, or maybe just going grocery shopping. Or something. What would you like to do?’

“Hmm, well what do you want to do?”

“Well, I wouldn’t mind going to Lotte World, the last time I went there was when I was a child.”

“Well then let’s go to Lotte World!” I shouted, making an attempt to sound excited. My hyungs saw through my mask, as they always do. They all know I would rather sit here and play Starcraft all day. But this was for Henry, the newest maknae of the group. This is for him. For Henry. He needs to find someone new. He still hurts form what Amber did to him.

 

*Flashback*

It was summer time and Henry and Amber were going steady for a while now. She had a tomboy-like personality. And they were more like best friends than a couple. But she made Henry happy, so the group left him alone. Until the day she decided he wasn’t good enough. Until the day Henry learned that love brought pain. Until Henry realized his relationship with Amber had been an illusion.

The group was out having a picnic on a private part of the beach so fans wouldn’t recognize them. Henry and Amber were walking on the shoreline hand in hand and Henry went in for a kiss but Amber turned away.

“What’s wrong?” Henry asked. She let go of his hand and faced him. The other members witnessed this and wondered what was going on.

“I can’t do this anymore Henry,” mumbled Amber.

“Did I do something wrong?” his breath hitching in his throat.

“No Henry. You were perfect. Things have just gone different ways. I changed. I can’t keep pretending to love you. I don’t love you. I loved being around you but--”

“You couldn’t stand me? My hyungs? Amber, tell me what did I do wrong?” Tears welled up in Henry’s eyes while Amber remained cool and collected.

“Henry,” she started lifting her hand to his cheek, “You’ll always be my Mochi, and we can still be friends.”

“No,” Henry threw down Amber’s hand and stepped away from her, “No, I won’t. You broke my heart when all I did was care about you!  I put so much of my love out there for you!” he began to yell and the hyungs started to gather.

“Henry!” she screamed back at him. ”You want to know why I don’t love you? I used to think that I would come to love you! It never happened! You weren’t good enough for me to love you!” she yelled angrily.

“I loved you Amber! And now you’re saying I’m not good enough? That you can’t stand to be around me anymore? What happened to the girl who made me laugh, who I would whisper 'I love you' when no one was looking? Why are you telling me now that I’m making you suffer?” The tears finally rolled down his cheeks, flowing effortlessly. He wasn’t holding them back anymore.

“Moch--”

“Just leave! You don’t want to be here!” he yelled at her.

“FINE!!” she slapped him across the face. She left after the stinging of his words. Henry fell to the ground as he watched her leave. He cried in big sobs, his eyes being overwhelmed with the tears that wouldn’t stop. His heart ached, for there was now a big, gaping hole where Amber was. She has taken that piece of his heart and burned it, never to be replaced.

His hyungs rushed over to him after seeing what happened. Zhou Mi and Leeteuk were the first to kneel down beside him and comfort him.

They will never forget the day their dongseng had been left in the wind by his first love.

*End Flashback*

 

We all gathered into the vans and I was stuck between Henry and Sunny. Great.

“So I guess getting cars would be out of the question since there are so many of you huh?” she asked me.

“Pretty much. We’ve always traveled like this.” Leeteuk watched my every word in the rear view mirror.

“Teukkie,” started Henry, “Did you tell the others to wear their masks?”

“Masks?” questioned Sunny. I nudged Henry hard in the ribs.

“OW!” yelped Henry.

“Ne. We wear masks to avoid getting sick in public. If you want you can have a mask to wear too. Especially in your health’s fragile state,” I offered.

I couldn’t help but get lost in Baby Kyu’s eyes, even when Mochi was sitting directly behind him.

“S-sure. I’ll take one,” I smiled at the hyung with my aegyo eyes. He reached behind him and pulled out a mask for me just as we pulled up to Lotte World. We came out of the vans relieved to stretch our legs even though it wasn’t a long ride. Fishy had picked me up and thrown me over his shoulder by surprise.

“YAHH!! Fishy! Put me down!” When he wouldn’t I lifted up the back of his shirt, found his boxers and hoisted them up until he put me down.

“AISHH!! Hen—MOCHI! CONTROL HER! SHE TRIED TO GIVE ME A WEDGIE!” complained Fishy to Mochi. I couldn’t help but laugh right there on the ground, soon everyone started laughing…except Fishy. I scrambled to my feet only to leap on Fishy, murdering him with a bear hug. He began to laugh and I let go.

In my best aegyo voice I said, “Can we go in now oppa?”

“AISHH!! Why must you do that Sunny??” cried Fishy.

“To see your face redden^^” I said to him smiling an evil smile. “Let’s go Mochi!” I grabbed Mochi’s hand which he was hiding behind his back. I was surprised that I had done this, grabbing his hand I mean. I remembered back to the kiss we shared last night and blushed.

“Where are you taking me?” laughed Mochi. I ran us all the way to the Gyro Swing. The others were following, but were starting to drop back as we neared the apparently horrifying ride.

“You sure you want to try this?” asked Mochi as we took off our shoes.

“YES! I’ve always been a thrill seeker.” I could see his eyes light up. And he took my hand as we stepped on the ride.

We stepped off the ride stumbling together and I almost tripped but Mochi caught me. I’ve been falling a lot lately and he’s always there. I turned to smile at him and when I did our faces were only centimeters apart. I could smell the cologne he was wearing and I couldn’t resist feeling every breath he took. I looked down at his lips and saw that they were creeping closer and closer. I couldn’t stand the wait and closed the distance between us once again. He held me up as my legs went weak from the kiss.

“Mochi?!” screamed an unfamiliar voice, breaking our kiss. He looked up as I began to readjust to the ground.

“Amber?” I heard Mochi ask.  “…Annyeong”

“Who is she?” the girl asked glaring at me.

“Why does it matter?” Henry demanded.

“I deserve to know!” she started to yell and I could see the hyungs hurry over.

“Deserve to know?!” Mochi’s voice rose in volume.

“YES! Who is she Henry?!” Henry?? Why was she calling him Henry?

“What’s going on--” asked Dark Kyu. “Oh…um Sunny?” he said getting my attention away from Mochi and the so called Amber.

“Kyu-oppa…?” I asked him.

“Ne?.”

“C-can you take me home now?” I pleaded.

He looked back at the bickering Amber and Mochi, “Sure, let’s go. We’ll all watch a movie tonight, yes?” he offered wrapping an arm around my shoulders. All I could do was nod at what Dark Kyu had said. My mind went foggy after I saw Mochi..or is it Henry?...with Amber.

i love her! but i don't know where this idea came from.
BUT! since it flowed naturally, i stuck with it. and it's turning to be very effective in the story!

*SPOILER* the next chapter is Amber's last appearance. NO I'M NOT GOING TO KILL HER~
