YOUR (SO RAN) POV

I slowly got up this morning with a crack in my neck. Last night I stayed up late studying for my Global history Exam.
I quickly got up from my bed that had covers flown all over the place and tried to calm down my messy wavy hair. Looking in the mirror I couldn't help but laugh. It reminded me of one of my close friends Kyuhyun who was a year above me. His loose wavy hair has never quite been calm but somehow seemed to fit him. Though one time we put it in a ponytail and it looked HILARIUOS.
Aish~ what am I reminiscing for IT'S TIME TO GO TO SCHOOL.

After getting dressed I walked out of my house and saw Min ho waiting for me. As he was just standing there with his book bag flung over his shoulder little high school girls couldn't help but oogle the poor guy as they walked past. As they continued to oogle and squeak to one another one girl stopped walking.
"Should I ask him out"
"OMG YES. HE'S PROBABLY SINGLE TOO." said another girl.
"DO IT BOM. NO ONE CAN TURN YOU DOWN" said another girl.
"Well I am the best" she said while flipping her hair back.
After a few more attempts of cutening herself up she started to slowly walk over to Min ho like a lioness circling her prey before attack.
"This is bad" I thought to myself. Looking at the completely oblivious Min ho who had his headphones plugged in.
"I'm gonna regret this later but~" quickly I Jumped down my 5 steps of stairs entrance to my house and glued myself to Min how's arm.
"Oppa!" I said. "Did you wait long? I'm sorry".
"B-Bwoh?" was all Min ho could say as he pulled his head phones out of his ears.
"Did you just call me Oppa?"
"Shhh. There are some high school girls over there out for your head just go along." I whispered to him. Causing him to form a big 'O' with his mouth.

"Aigoo. You’re so cute" he said while ruffling my hair. "I can never wait too long for you, my love." he said while giving me his ever so beautiful charismatic smile.
"Aish~ what are you saying." I said while giving him a big hug my eyes clashed with that of that 'Bom' girl from before. I quickly gave the upset girl a devious smile causing her to get even more frustrated and stomp off with her friends.
"Are they gone?" Minho asked.
"Yup" I responded pulling back down from around Min ho's neck.
We stared into each other’s eyes and after about 30 seconds we started cracking up laughing.
"Oppa!" he laughed, trying to mimic my voice, causing me to lightly punch him in the stomach.
Lemme explain. Min ho and I have been friends since the first day of high school and even ended up going to the same college. I even used to have a crush on him but after realizing that there was no way someone with such a celebrity like aura could love me. I gave up. But I'm fine now :).
"Now let's pick up the squirt." he said.
" Ikimashou! (Let’s go)" I said in my broken Japanese.
" Don't let Sensei hear you say that. Especially looking at what you got on your last Japanese test." he laughed.
"Whatever".
As we walked a few blocks up we finally got to Henry's house and saw him standing there impatiently.
"What took you guys so long" I heard him frustratingly call out.
"Oh, I had to save this kid from a bunch of high school girls" I explained. Causing Henry to give Min ho a bunch of strange looks. "Long story" Min ho said.
We both laughed and Henry gave us a weird look but we just ignored at and all three of us continued on our way.
 Normally Kyuhyun would be walking with us to school but he got caught playing his DS in class by a teacher who now made him promise to clean the classroom early every morning for a month. Though partially it’s my fault too because I was playing against him wirelessly from home (since I didn't have morning classes that day).

"Hey So Ran remember that pretty geography teacher Ms.Jung from a few years back?" asked Henry.
"Yea"
"I heard she's getting married to the science teacher Mr. Park."
"BUT HE HAD A UNIBROW!"
"I know it's so weird right?"
"I guess it really is 2012." I laughed
"Hey guys stop talking about things I don't know about I front of me" Min ho whinnied.
"Just cause you two went to middle school together" he said starting to pout.
"Well you two are always talking about high school" argued Henry.
"Aish~ whatever we're here anyway." I said calming the two boys down.
I waved goodbye to the boys as we were off to our own classes. Henry yelled out "Don't forget about your promise. After Human Behavior in the gym!" while waving goodbye.
"I know!"

After a few hours of classes it was finally time for a lunch break. Yawning I stretched out my arms while walking out of class.
Faintly I heard the yelling of a teacher frantically calling out a student’s name; which I was unable to make out. The voice came closer and closer and so did the loud footsteps of what sounded like whoever was running away. Walking in the opposite direction I, this time heard my name being called.

"So Ran!" I heard again. Slowly I turned around to see no other than Cho Kyuhyun running towards me at full speed. He finally caught up to me and without stopping he grabbed my hand forcing me to run with him.
"CHO KYUHYUN. YOU STOP RIGHT THIS MINUTE!" I heard the teacher’s voice from before yell.
" Like, hell I'd do that" He whispered to himself.
We ran and ran and ran and finally we stopped. "Kyuhyun, what did you do this time?"
But before he could even answer I interrupted "you know what? Never mind. I don't even wanna know". He smiled.

After a while of trying to catch our breath I realized that Kyuhyun and I were still holding hands from when he grabbed me before. Slightly blushing I non-chalantly pulled my hand out of his grasp. But was shocked when he just held his grasp tighter.
"Hey So Ran."
"Yes"
"Do you remember where this place is?"
" for the first time since we got here I looked around at the place we had wandered off to. It was a familiar place that gave me a nostalgic feeling. No longer were we at the University’s campus but a few blocks down at a park. Engulfed by Red and Yellow autumn leaves that were thrown round' by the wind constantly, the old Han Park stood.
   It was a meaningful place for me and Kyuhyun, we were best friends since elementary school but this park was the first place we met.
     At the time I was a shy girl home from school on my first day.

~~~ Flash back~~~
" So Ran! So Ran! Height is small, mind is small, everything is small! Small!" (This is a pun on her name which literally means 'what is small') some of the first graders I met in school today. Throwing rocks at me they managed to chase me into the park.
I was scared. It was my first day of school and my first day in this new city of Seoul I knew no one yet managed to become bullied. I huddled in a ball in an attempt not get too hurt by the rocks when suddenly I didn't feel the rocks anymore but could still hear the kids.
I looked up and saw this kid about a year older than my shielding me from the rocks. After a while he threw down his own bag and chased the boys away "KIM JONGHYUN" he yelled out "IM GONNA TELL AHJUMMA ON YOU"
Soon all the boys left and he returned to me "are you okay" he asked, reaching out his hand.
"Uh, yeah. Um...... thank you for driving those bullies away."
"Awwww Jonghyun and the rest aren't really bullies they just don't know how treat new people. He laughed.

For the next 6 years we were best friends, despite the age difference and there was no one I could rely on more. And tell the truth, I loved him. He was my first real crush. But by the sixth grade I ended up moving out of Seoul and to the tiny 3 block side town of danakae where in middle school I ended up meeting Henry who I also fell in love with. And when I moved Incheon for high school I met and fell in love with Min ho. But now as an odd turn of chance I go to University in Seoul again but this time with all three of them. Though I gave up my love for them due to the simple fact that, well I'm not worthy.

"Hello? So Ran"
"Yea I remember this place. It was where we first met." I smiled
"Yea, it's the most important place I could imagine"
Looking up at Kyuhyun it really reminded how much he had aged gracefully. He was SOOO handsome that many female students and quite a few male students were falling all over him. But he was too caught up in his own little world to notice.
"Hey So Ran."
"Yes?"
"I-"
"Hm?"
He looked me straight in the eyes. His deep brown eyes that could melt every part of my body pierced right through me.
" It's a week before your birthday and I just wanted to say."
"To say?"
"Saranghae" he finally muttered he then grabbed me by the shoulders and pulled me into a deep and passionate kiss. After a few seconds well pulled back, his face a deep shade of red.
"I love you and always loved you. Since that day so many years ago. I'm not expecting an immediate reply so can you tell me what you say by your birthday." he asked, his voice shivering in the process.
I shook my head yes and the bell from the school rang, loud enough for us to here. "Dang it, I've got Lee now. If I'm late I'm dead. So Ran please think of what I said" he called out while running off to the building.
My mind was blank seriously blank
slowly thoughts started to flow into my mind "he just said he loved me, he just kissed me. Cho fricken Kyuhyun, my first love, loves me.
I heard the bell ring one more time. CRAP, IVE GOT HUMAN BEHAVIOR. I said running off to the school building just imagining that long speech my professors gonna give me -.-.
