Jieun was struggling in an inner battle with herself. One part of her told her to go back and sincerely apologize and maybe ask the guy to teach her or hear him play once more but the other one was telling her it was a stupid idea, it's not like their paths would cross again and if it ever did, she could just pretend he didn't look at all familiar. 

In the end, she found herself on the same abandoned shop but completely hidden behind the stack of boxes lying about. She ducked her head and waited for the guy to play. He was there by the way, poised to play.

And it started. Jieun couldn't help but close her eyes as the melody once again sink in on her. It was so beautiful. Must be because it was all new to her. Other people took for granted such things. If only she was one of those given the chance to play.

The playing stopped and Jieun decided she had to go. She could just come back again and hear him play. Keep herself hidden behind these boxes. But just as she was about to go, her head came in contact with one of the boxes above her and it toppled to the ground. 

Jieun silently cursed herself. 'Great! Now I'm doomed', she muttered under her breath.

Soon, she found the guy on her side. Eyebrows raised, staring at her. She smiled akwardly at him and stood up but the guy helped her in doing so.

'You know it's wierd to be hiding behind boxes listening to someone play', he said. A smile creeping on his lips. 

Jieun could tell he was mocking her but she couldn't force herself to reply instead she just smiled and took a few steps away from him but the guy's voice held her back.

'I'm Baekhyun by the way'

Jieun stared back at him. He shrugged and smiled at her. 'Thought I should give you a name if ever you start thinking about me. I wouldn't like you to call me "the guy playing the piano", although it's fine but I have a name though'.

She nodded her head and absentmindedly mouthed her name. 'Jieun', she said.

'Jieun?', Baekhyun asked.

Her eyes widened and she again bowed down before him. 'I'm sorry'

This time Baekhyun didn't made an attempt to walk towards her. His laughter erupted without him knowing. 'Why do you keep bowing and apologizing?'

Jieun bit her lip in embarassment. 'Great! I just made a fool out of myself once again', she thought to herself.

Baekhyun sensed her uncomfort. She was biting her lip and her eyes were cast down. Looking at a particular spot to her left.

'Look, I'm sorry. Jieun isn't it? Nice to meet you', he said erasing all signs of humor on his voice. He extended on arm out to her for a handshake.

From the corner of her eye Jieun saw his outstretched arm. As uncomfortable as she was, she didn't want to seem rude so she took his hand in hers. 

Baekhyun smiled. 'You know if you want to hear me play you could just go inside. Don't need to hide yourself behind here', he said while pointing at the boxes.

Jieun bit her tongue as she tried hard not to laugh. Looking at the boxes, she couldn't help but feel stupid. 

'You must think I'm wierd?', she questioned him out of the blue.

Baekhyun looked from the boxes to her. 'You? Wierd? Nah, it never crossed my mind. More like amusing'

'Amusing? How so?', she said.

Baekhyun shrugged. 'Well I never thought you'd come back and hide yourself. I thought one encounter could've been enough for you'

Jieun nodded. Suddenly a question popped in her head. 'Did you mean what you said? About coming here and hearing you play?'

Baekhyun looked at her quizzically. 'Yes. Why?'

'Nothing', she said. 'Look, I really have to go now. I should have been out of here moments ago'

'Uhhmm. Sure', he said.

She bent down and picked her bag. 'Bye', she said smiling akwardly.

'Bye', he said and raised his arm as a manner of saying goodbye.

Just as she was about to turn back and leave Baekhyun spoke something. 'You're coming back right?'

His question demanded answers of either yes or no but his eyes were pleading her to answer specifically one of them.

'Yes', she managed to say.

His face lit up. She smiled back and hurried away, afraid of what to say next.
