“Are you deaf?” he asked angrily

“What the f**k is wrong with you?” I asked as my voice also start to rise

“I like her. I like Yoon Bora,” Donghae said and I turned my car to right with a screech and I stopped abruptly

“I like Yoon Bora,” he said again

“I”ll take care of her. You don’t like girls like her so I”ll take care of her ,” he said

“No, I’m going to treat her myself,” I said stubbornly

“LEE HOWON!” He yelled

“LEE DONGHAE!” I yelled in response and I quickly turned towards Bora and saw her stir in her seat

Hoya’s POV
“Fine,” I answered and I drove to Donghae’s house without a word

Once we arrived at his house, I got out of the car and opened Bora’s car door and placed my hands around her neck and legs and carried her out and closed her door with my foot and I walked up to Donghae’s door but before I could ring the bell, it opened suddenly with Donghae’s expressionless face greeting us

“Put her down in the guest house,” he ordered and I just did as he said as I didn’t want to argue with him at this moment, not right now at least

I walked up the stairs without much trouble and Donghae led the way without turning around once and once we arrived to the room, I carefully laid her down on the bed.

Donghae took out his first aid kit from underneath the bed and started to treat her wounds silently and I just watched her sleeping peacefully

*riiinggg*

I took my phone out quickly before it woke up Bora and answered, “hello?”

“Where’s Bora?” Wonho asked without any greetings

“She’s at Donghae’s house,”

“Why?” He simply asked but you could hear the worry in his voice

“I think it was the guys from last time, they’re still after her,” I explained

“Why didn’t you take her to the hospital?” he continued to ask and I left the room as I wanted to take the phone call outside the room to not disturb Donghae while he take cares of her

“Donghae’s a doctor remember?’ I pointed out

“OHhh~~ right,”

“And I thought I was the stupid once,” I muttered to myself

“Did you just admit that you were stupid?” he asked with a chuckle

“Shut up,”

“Hoya, why do you sound so weak?” he asked and I only replied with a sigh

“Donghae likes her doesn’t he,” Wonho pointed out

“Did everyone know of his feelings but me?”

“Yup,”

“Since when?” I only asked

“Since he laid eyes on her,” and my nose only scrunched at his answer as I was not used to hearing that pick up line before, or whatever you call that

“You know, while you were busy torturing her, he always took care of her. He would always check on her once in a while without her knowing,”

“Stalker,” I whispered and I was surprised to know that Wonho heard that as he only chuckled

Suddenly the line got quiet

“You like her too, don’t you?” he asked and this question caught me off guard

“I.I…,” I started but I couldn’t finish my sentence

Did I really like her or was I just simply fascinated by the fact that a commoner like her was able to stand up to the great and almighty F4 leader?

I sighed once again

I looked in the room and saw Donghae cleaning things up as he finished treating her wounds

“Wonho-yah, I’ll call you later. Donghae and I need to chat,”

“Oh, okay,” he said and before I hung up, Wonho said ,”Don’t fight,” and hung up

Donghae stepped outside the room and closed the door

“You done?” I asked simply and he nodded his head and headed downstairs and I followed behind

“Sit,” he only said before heading to the kitchen and I did as I was told and sat down comfortably with one leg crossed over the other and both my arms stretched out across the sofa

He came back with a cup of tea and set one down in front of me

“Did you really mean what you said to me back in the car?” I asked curiously as I picked up the small cup cautiously before taking a small sip

I looked at him with my eyebrow raised

He sighed and looked down at the cup of tea he was holding in both of his hands

“Yeah, I guess I do,”

I merely nodded my head

“I liked her sinc…” He started

“Please don’t, I already heard it from Wonho. If I hear it again I think I’m going to puke,” I said jokingly and finally the tension subsided when a small quiet laughter came from both of us

“Hey, I’m sorry I yelled at you over the phone. I guess I kind of overreacted when I found out she got hurt,” he said looking at me apologetically and I grinned

“You just guess?”

“Fine, I overreacted. Sorry,” he apologized again

“No need to apologize. Hey, we’re buddies right?” and he nodded in response

“I really like her Hoya-yah,” I heard him confess but instead of feeling happy for my best friend, I felt anger and jealousy bubble inside of me

I put on a fake smile

“I know. What are you going to do about Jessica? She is back and I’m pretty sure she’s determined to get you back, like the other girls are,”

“I’ll take care of her,” he said as if it was no big deal

“But you loved Jessica,” I said and I realized it came out angrier than I intended

“Yeah I did. I did love Jessica but Hoya that’s the past. My feelings stopped once I found out she was marrying someone else,”

“Donghae,” I whispered as I felt guilt for bringing up his painful past

He slightly grinned

“Hoya, if Jessica really did love me, she would be patient with me. She should’ve understood that I was busy with the hospital and I needed to do what I had to do but she was so blinded by her loneliness that she didn’t realize how much I really loved her. Instead of running into another man’s arms, she should’ve waited for me,” he said as he gulped down his tea and got up and grabbed a jar of vodka and two glasses and poured some for himself and for me

I binged my drink and I stared at him

“Donghae, I’m saying this because I’m your friend and because I care but you do realize a relationship can’t and will never be stable with only one person trying,”

“I..,”

“I understand that you are upset with her for running off to another guy and suddenly getting married to him. Honestly, if I were you, I’d go berserk but you also need to understand that she did wait for you but she was tired of waiting. I know you’re busy as a doctor and it takes a lot of work and study but you didn’t really pay attention to your girlfriend during that time either. She isn’t the only one to blame,” I said truthfully and he only drank the vodka in one shot and poured himself another glass

“I know, I know, but I still can never forgive her for what she did and like I said, I’ve stopped loving her and I like Bora right now,”

“Yeah,” I only said and poured myself another glass and shoved the alcohol down my throat. Once I was finished with the drink I saw Donghae staring at me attentively

“What?” I asked

“You like her too don’t you,” he asked

I smiled with air coming out of my nose and I stared down at my lap for a second and looked back up

“I think I do,” I answered honestly

“Since when?” he asked

“Since…since she stood up to me the first time I met her,” I answered and I grinned as I reminisced of our encounter

“Then why did you bully and torment her like that?” he asked as I could see that he didn’t understand me at all

“Because my pride was hurt. She was the first person to ever confront me like that and even challenge me. I was amazed and fascinated and I guess I just wanted to see how long she could endure it all but I realized that I took it too far with her,”

“Ya think~,” and we laughed

“She is beautiful, inside and out and truly a rock head. She helps others courageously without noticing the danger she’s putting herself into. I’ve never been interested girls like her before so I was surprised when I found out my true feelings for her,” I shared and I saw a hint of sadness in Donghae’s eyes and although I felt bad for sharing the same feelings as my best friend for Bora, I couldn’t help it and before anyone of us could continue to talk we heard a voice say,” Can I go home?” behind us

We both stood up and saw Bora standing near the staircase and she looked weak

I walked by her side

“Sure,” I said and I knelt down in front of her

“What are you doing?” she asked and honestly I don’t even know either. I don’t how this girl got me to get on my knees but I did

“You’re still weak; you’re not going to be able to walk. You can either get on my back or I’ll carry you a different way,” I threatened and without hesitation she jumped on my back which led me to almost fall forward but I got up

“How much do you weigh? You pig,” I joked and I heard her snort and I suddenly felt her flail her arms and legs,”Then let me go,” she said and I laughed

“I’ll see you later,” I said to Donghae and suddenly Bora jumped out of my arms and walked in front of Donghae, to his surprise, and she bowed ninety degrees and smiled

“Thank you,” she said and I looked at her weirdly and she stuck her tongue out at me and I was about to walk out until I felt her jump on my back

“What the,”

“You said you’ll carry me to your car so off we go,” she said and I chuckled once again and walked to my car and placed her inside and drove off

We arrived at her house in no time and she ran outside the car to her house door

“YAH! AREN’T YOU SUPPOSED TO SAY THANK YOU?!” I yelled

“THANK YOU!” she quickly said and ran inside the house

Bora’s POV

I ran inside the house and ignored the stares I received from Yoona, Suzy, Dasom and my brother and ran inside my room and jumped onto my bed

Did I really hear right?
