I've promised myself to never love anyone ever again. Too time-consuming, don't you think? Besides, I'm merely a human without a living soul. Her sudden disappearance from my life... It was too tragic for me. I've never properly shed the tears for her death. To mend the pain, you must go through it. I'm in the abyss of a deep slump."I love you." Those three words she never heard from my own mouth. How I pity her for falling in love with such a heartless guy like me. 

             The sky shed teardrops of rain beautifully, embarking a grievious mood. She told me once that she liked the rain. She must've liked its company during the times she cried, with no shoulder to lean on, without me by her side.

              I shook the thoughts away, unbearingly refusing to break down. I reached out my hand; the hand that clutched onto her dear life, the hand that could do nothing but caress her angelic cheeks, the hand that she used to lovingly hold. Raindrops trickled down my fingertips; I crumpled my fingers into a fist. Her radiant, carefree eyes, her full lips, her milky skin, her perfectionist trait, her affectionate personality, her aegyo-filled pleading; she's not perfect, but she is for me. I went down on a memory flashback as the rain continued to splatter their drum-like beat on my umbrella.

              I saw her in that girl. She flustered as I made eye contact eith her,  gulping, intently glaring at the ground. I walked up to her, grabbing her possessively by the shouder, uttering, "Share the umbrella with me. You'll catch a cold."
