"Where's the jacket I gave you?" Baekhyun asked you as he stopped in his tracks, making you stop as well.

"It's the last few days of winter, I think I can manage a little wind." Proceeding to walk, you laughed out but he stopped you. Baekhyun shook his head and snorted. You pursed your lips as he took off his own and swung it over your shoulders as you rolled your eyes. "My whole waredrobe is going to smell like Gucci Guilty."

"You smell like cherry blossoms so I think I win." He put his hands in his pockets before laughing and walking off. You rolled your sleeves up and ran towards him.

"Cherry blossoms smell nice, okay." You debated and crossed your arms.

"Maybe if you're 13." He cooly replied and you fell speechless. You both walked for quite a while. The only thing different about the first walk you two went on was that it was daylight and everything seemed very clear. The air breathed the first scent of spring and you couldn't help but smile at everything that you saw. It was just so beautiful and not so much in contrast with what's beside you right now. You saw a car come right to the curb and towards you.

"Come here." A gentle Baekhyun said as you felt something yank your waist. "Watch where you're going you ing idiot! Are you ing blind?" He shouted at the car's direction but you couldn't help but look up at him, seeing his veins pop out from his neck was the iest thing you've ever seen. "ing ." He scoffed as he went back and focused on walking along. His arm held you for a while and you stiffened up. You felt your cheeks heat up. "Oh, sorry. I d-didn't realize." He breathed out as he slid his arm off you and his hands back into his pockets.

"No, it's fine." You managed to speak out but you weren't sure that he heard. But you decided it was better off that way.

"Alright, we're here." He opened the door of the corner bookstore cafe and you tunneled through under his arm before he followed in soon after, it was warm inside and so you took the jacket off, holding it in your arms.

"What do you want?" Baekhyun asked you and you scrolled your eyes through the menu that dropped down from the celing.

"I'll have a green tea frap please." You answered him and smiled. Just as soon as you got comfortable you felt your phone vibrate inside your back pocket. "Just a sec." You said and Baekhyun nodded. Guessing it was your mom wanting you to come home you pressed on the caller button as you stuck it on your ear saying a full of attitude, "What?"

"What do you mean, 'what'?" Hearing an awkward and manly chuckle from the other end of the line, you definitely knew it wasn't your mom. It was Kai. You forgot your freaking date with Kai. Eyes shot wide, you felt like you wanted to fall inside a hole, where no one can see you. Baekhyun turned around only to see worry in your eyes.

"What happened?" He asked before placing a comforting hand on your arm that was holding up your phone.

"Who's that?" Kai asked you.

"Um, no. It's no one." You lied to him and flashed a smile at Baekhyun who returned an awkward one. 

"Okay, so um, where do we meet?" Asking back to Kai as soon as the hunk looked away.

"How about down at MyeongDong?" He answered, a clear smile could be heard.

"Oh, okay. That's gre-"

"Order for Mr. Baekhyun!" The voiceover boomed through every sound system in the cafe. Does it have to be this loud? You hoped that Kai didn't hear.

"Okay so... The ma-" Trying to continue, you were cut off by your friend.

"You know what, Eunhye. Forget it." And with that the phone beeped it's dial tone and you fell silent, stomach dropping and still.

"Alright so here's mine and here's yours!" Baekhyun said as he handed you the green beverage. Not getting any grip from you, he pulled it back, not wanting you to drop it.

"Are you like, okay?" He asked before slurping his coffee. You felt your mouth curve down into a frown and Baekhyun's eyes dropped in response, his expression dim.

"Yeah, totally." Nodding out of your zone-out you assured yourself before grabbing the cup out of his hand. The both of you sat down at an empty table but your mind wasn't empty at all. Filling the silence, you tried to start a conversation.

"I haven't seen you the last couple days you know. Even after school." You skittishly informed him, rolling a piece of tissue you teared out.

"You missed me." Was all he said and you choked on your drink, instantly covering the bottom part of your mouth so nothing will ruin the perfection in front of you.

"Missed you!? Pssshhh.." You flapped a hand out and exaggerated your words. He lowered his head and looked up at you with his eyes. They looked darker and it looked like his eyeliner was a bit of a mess. Scrap his neckveins, this was seriously the hottest thing you've ever seen. You crossed your legs to the side of the chair and he tilted his head back, not escaping your eyes. "Okay, maybe just a little." You finally snorted out and represented a 'bit' with your fingers. "Now answer my question!" You shouted with a smirk.

 He took a deep breath before looking down at his shoes that stuck out to the side of the table. "I've been at the hospital." He softly confessed. What trouble has he gone into this time? "My dad..." He continued. Can't be just complete his sentence? Did he beat him or som-. "They found something in his brain." All your thoughts fell silent at those words. Baekhyun always looked so strong and at this moment you just could see his eyes start to gloss up.

"Baekhyun..." You softly called out to him with worried eyebrows. He started turning his rings and looking away from you. He coughed and his leg started to shake.

"I'm sorry, Eunhye." His cracked voice spoke and he stood up quicky and not making eye contact with you whatsoever. "I have to go." His voice almost broke out into a cry and you couldn't help but feel as though something was lodged deep in your throat.

Now you have two boys to worry about.
