Jay held you in his arms as he waited for the ambulance to arrive. Min Hee was long gone by now. As soon as you fell to the floor she fled the scene in a panicking state. Jay wouldn’t let her get away with it though he would make sure she paid for this. He stared at your figure that was held tightly in his embrace and tears began to stain his cheeks.

‘I’m so sorry _________. I never meant to put you through all of this. Please stay strong’ He pleaded with you even though you couldn’t hear a word. He you face gently making sure not to cause any more damage. The door was opened quickly and forcefully just as Min Hee had a few minutes ago but this time it was full of urgency and not anger. Men in white uniforms came rushing in with a first aid kit and a stretcher. They tried to pull you away from Jay who was reluctant to let you go.

‘It’s okay Sir we’ll keep her safe’ They reassured placing a hand on his shoulder. Jay nodded lightly at them and loosened his grip. He wiped his eyes on the sleeve of his shirt before getting up and grabbing your bag for some spare clothes. He followed the medics out of the building and towards the ambulance. The journey was silent. Jay sat hugging his knees to his chest in hopes to comfort himself at this time of need.

You were rushed away as quickly as possible before Jay could even look at you. He was forced to wait. He was already impatient how much longer did they think he could stand. He wanted to see you smile, to see you healthy and dancing again. Making everyone around you happy. He sat on the chair exactly how he did in the ambulance. He had your bag tightly grasped in his hands. Your smell floated off it making his eyes water again. You hadn’t even been away from him for that long but he still missed your beautiful scent. His ears pricked up when he heard music coming from inside it. Supa Luv by Teen Top was playing and he remembered that being your ring tone. He dug around and pulled it out. It was Bae.

‘Hello’ Jay said in a soft whisper.

‘Yo….wait who’s this? Did I get the wrong number?’ Bae asked.

‘No you didn’t this is _________’s phone. It’s Jay’ He replied flatly. There was a slight pause before Bae responded.

‘Where’s _________? Why do you have her phone?’ He questioned. Jay was the one to pause this time. He took a deep breath.

‘__________ is in the hospital’ Was all he could bring himself to say before he got a lump in his throat.

‘WHAT? WHAT DID YOU DO TO HER JAY? I SWEAR I’LL HURT YOU SO BAD!!’ Bae accused.

‘Min Hee attacked her. I tried to stop her but it was too late’ Jay replied calmly. Bae was breathing heavily down the phone. He was most definitely pissed.

‘I’ll be there in a few’ He responded bluntly and hung up. Jay scratched the back of his neck and sighed. He’s not gonna be happy when he gets here. Jay put his head down and closed his eyes hoping to make the time pass faster but as soon as he did a doctor spoke to him.

‘You can go see her now if you like she’s asleep at the moment but she’s alright’ He spoke softly. A look of relief washed over Jay’s face as he was led to your room. When he entered you were lay down asleep like the doctor said. You had a bandage over your head that he knew you would most likely complain about when you woke up. He smiled at the thought. He was reassured that you were going to be fine and he was now able to relax. He sat right next to the bed and held your hand. He laced his fingers with yours and kissed the top of it.

‘I love you _______’ He said barely above a whisper. He spent a few minutes like this before he decided to play with your fingers. You felt this and peeked at him through one eye. He hadn’t noticed that you were faking sleeping. He brushed his finger over your palm and that was it. It tickled so much you couldn’t help but giggle.

‘Jay stop you know I’m ticklish’ You stated looking at him fully now. His eyes widened and he stood up.

‘_________ you’re awake’ He half screamed leaning down to hug you giving you a kiss at the same time.

‘I’ve been awake since you came in’ You laughed again. He looked at you grinning.

‘It’s good to know you’re still your usual self’ He chuckled back. You gave him a big smile and a thumbs up. ‘How’s your head?’

‘It hurts a little but I’ll get over it. This damn bandage is a pain in the though’ You explained. Jay laughed.

‘I knew you would complain about that’ You stuck your tongue out at him.

‘I never thought our first date would be spent in the hospital’ You smiled. ‘It’s different to anything I’ve ever heard’ You joked. Jay smiled at you. He admired the fact that even though you were in pain you still lightened up the situation making sure it wasn’t miserable. You didn’t want people to pity you because you had an accident and Jay fully understood this.

There was a knock on the door and it opened to reveal a very angry looking Bae.

‘What happened? This is all your fault you know Jay. If you hadn’t let that stupid anywhere near the group this would have never happened’ He shouted.

‘I realize this and I have apologized countless times’ Jay stated calmly trying not to make the situation worse.

‘Bae don’t be mad at Jay please. What’s done is done. There’s no changing what happened and I’m fine. If you should blame anyone it should be me for being a jealous and in all fairness if I had confessed to Jay earlier none of this would have happened’ You declared. Bae looked up at you and his face became soft.

‘For gods sake what am I gonna do with you two. Your both as bad as each other’ Bae shook his head.

‘Yeah but you love us’ You laughed. Bae rolled his eyes but cracked a smile.

‘I can’t even stay mad at you two. I hate it, it’s annoying’ He whined. ‘I suppose I better say congratulations on you getting together’ Both of you laughed shyly and blushed. ‘Don’t be telling me your shy now’ He said in disbelief. You punched him in the arm. ‘Ouch alright, alright calm down’ He rubbed his arm. ‘I’d be careful Jay this girl really packs a punch’ He stated seriously. Jay laughed.

‘I’ll make a mental note of that if I ever happen to piss her off’
