Myungsoo sighed and kept trying.

Suzy finally opened the door.

"Oh... Hi, Myungsoo.." She said awkwardly.

Myungsoo understood why it was this awkward.

He kissed her so suddenly that day!

"Suzy yah.. Are you busy right now?" Myungsoo asked.

"Umm... No. Why?" Suzy asked.

"Oh.. Um.. Can I come in?" Myungsoo asked.

"Why?" Suzy asked again.

"Just.. wanted to hang out a little." Myungsoo answered.

"Oh.. Sure.." Suzy whispered and gestured for him to come in awkwardly.

Myungsoo slowly went in and observed her house.

"So...." Suzy said.

"Oh! I brought some snacks." Myungsoo said holding up a black plastic bag.

Suzy smiled and took the plastic bag.

"Beer?!" Suzy shouted while she took out 3 bottles of beer from the bag.

Myungsoo chuckled nervously.

"I haven't drank in a long time.." He said.

"Sorry, but I don't drink.." Suzy said.

"It's alright. I'll drink it all." Myungsoo said.

There were lots of other junk food in the plastic bag and that made Suzy light up.

"Thanks for buying the food." Suzy said.

"No problem.. So, how have you been doing?" Myungsoo asked.

Suzy smiled while looking down at her shoes.

"Let's talk outside. We'll hang out in the porch." Suzy suggested.

"Okay." Myungsoo smiled. Suzy led him to the porch outside.

Myungsoo brought the food to the porch table and sat down across from Suzy.

"So, what's up?" Myungsoo asked.

Suzy smiled while looking at the stars.

"Nothing much... what about you?" Suzy asked.

Myungsoo sighed.

"How come you didn't tell me?" myungsoo asked.

Suzy looked at him.

"How... Did you know?" Suzy asked.

Myungsoo sighed again and opened a bottle of beer.

"Ji Eun told me." Myungsoo said.

Suzy looked down.

"I didn't think you would want to know..." Suzy whispered.

"Why wouldn't I want to know?" Myungsoo asked trying to make eye contact with Suzy.

"I mean... you're the kingka of the school and you have girls literally hanging onto you! I didn't even expect you to talk to me." Suzy explained.

"I told you I like you.." Myungsoo whispered.

"But I told you I'm not interested." Suzy said.

Myungsoo sighed and gulped down his beer.

"Tell me the truth... do you really like me?" Suzy asked.

"Yes... I really do... I... just really like you.." Myungsoo confessed.

"Why?" Suzy asked.

"Cause... Cause... Well, I really don't have a reason.. I just really like you.." Myungsoo whispered.

Suzy looked back up at the stars.

Myungsoo looked up with her.

"I have a question.." Myungsoo said.

"Yeah?" Suzy said.

"How come you don't seem so... sad?" Myungsoo asked.

"What do you mean?" Suzy asked.

"I mean.. So many things happened in your life.. but you're always so happy..." Myungsoo said.

"I made a promise with my dad... before he died.." Suzy whispered starting to tear up.

Myungsoo looked at her seriously.

"What... promise..?" Myungsoo asked.

"That I would always be bright and positive.." Suzy said and tears started coming out of her eyes.

"Suzy-yah..." Myungsoo whispered.

Suzy quickly wiped her tears and looked at a bottle of bear.

"Can I drink that?" Suzy asked.

Myungsoo was shocked.

He didn't expect Suzy to drink beer.

"Uhh. Sure! Yeah." Myungsoo said and opened a bottle for her.

Suzy took it and drank the beer.

Her face expression showed just how much Suzy hated beer.

"That tastes nasty!" Suzy shouted.

Myungsoo chuckled.

Suzy started feeling dizzy already.

"Kim Myungsoo. I know you don't like me. You're probably just playing around.." Suzy said.

She was drunk. Just with one gulp of beer. That's how bad her endurance for beer was.

"Yah! Bae Suzy! I really like you. I'm not even joking with this.." Myungsoo said.

"Then why did you even start talking to me that day?" Suzy asked.

"I... I..." Myungsoo stuttered.

Suzy smirked and drank her beer.

"See? That's what I thought... But.. What should I do?" Suzy asked as she started tearing up again.

"What's wrong?" Myungsoo asked while moving his seat next to her.

"I think I'm starting to like you, too..." Suzy whispered with half her eyes closed.

"Really? But.. what's so wrong about that?" Myungsoo asked.

"I made a promise with my mom..." Suzy said.

"Another promise?" Myungsoo asked.

Suzy nodded.

"I promised her that I won't end up with a jerk... I promised I won't meet a playboy... But I'm starting to like one... which is you, Kim Myungsoo.." Suzy whispered.

"But I really like you. I- this is the first time I felt this way.. And I really can't get you out of my freaking head!" Myungsoo yelled.

Suzy looked at him with her drunken eyes.

She started crying.

"I have no idea what to do without my mom anymore! No one to give me advice about boys.. No one to talk to my problems about! How am I gonna know you're being truthful right now?!" Suzy shouted.

Myungsoo sighed.

"I love you... a lot.." Myungsoo whispered.

Suzy stopped crying and looked at Myungsoo a bit shocked.

"What..?" Suzy asked softly.

"I really... really love you.. a lot." Myungsoo whispered and started getting closer to Suzy.

Then, he dived in. He kissed her on her lips. And Suzy didn't stop him at all.

Myungsoo held her cheeks and deepened the kiss.

After their kiss, Myungsoo pulled away and realized Suzy fell asleep.

Myungsoo smiled and gently touched her cheeks.

"I really love you.. really.." Myungsoo whispered and carried her to her room.
