Suzy was riding her scooter back home and had a lot on her mind.

Why was Myungsoo acting like this? She knew him since middle school and they never even said hi to each other, but now, he was acting like her best friend. But, Suzy was glad that Myungsoo finally started talking to her.

She loves making new friends.

She got home and went to her mother's room.

"Umma! I'm home!" she called.

There was no response.

She started to panick a little then realized that her mother was still in the hospital resting.

Suzy hated being alone. She didn't hate it but she feared it.

She had bad memories of being alone.

When she was only about 4, she was left alone in her house because her father had to take her mother urgently to the hospital and a robber snuck in her house and threatened her to shut up. But, Suzy kept shouting until she lost her voice and her neighbor rushed in to rescue her. But, the robber hurt her badly because of her shouting. She was left with bruises on her neck and small cuts on her face.

She could never forget about that and even if she wanted to, it just wouldn't get out of her memory.

She ran into her room and his under her covers. She was afraid that it might happen again.

She was shaking and moving her body around.

She got startled by the vibration of her phone.

"He-hello?" Suzy stuttered.

"Bae Suzy." a familiar low voice answered.

"Who is this?" Suzy asked.

"It's me, Myungsoo!" he answered.

"Oh! How did you get my number?" Suzy asked.

"I got it from someone." he answered.

"Oh... So what's up?" Suzy asked.

"I just missed your cute voice." he answered.

Suzy smiled and blushed.

"Thanks..." Suzy said.

"So, did you get home safe? It's dark outside." he said.

"Yeah. Did you get home safe?" Suzy asked.

"Yeah. So what are you doing?" Myungsoo asked.

"I'm trying to sleep but I can't.." Suzy replied.

"Why not, sweetie?" Myungsoo asked.

"I'm alone at home right now.." Suzy said.

"Oh. Do you want me to sing you a lullaby?" Myungsoo asked with a husky voice.

"A lullaby?" Suzy asked.

"Yeah." Myungsoo whispered.

"Okay." Suzy responded with a smile.

He started singing a song called "This Song" by 2AM.

In middle of the song, Suzy fell asleep.

"Suzy yah? Are you sleeping now?" Myungsoo asked gently.

He heard no respond and hung up. He laid his head back on the bed and smirked.

"She will fall for me. We will start 'going out' and I will break her heart. Perfect." Myungsoo whispered to himself.

The next day at school, Myungsoo asked Krystal to meet him in front of the school before home room.

Krystal spotted Myungsoo and covered her hands on his eyes.

"Guess who?" Krystal asked with a cute voice.

"Krystal." Myungsoo replied coldly.

Krystal giggled and took her hands off of his eyes.

"Why did you want to see me, baby?" Krystal asked.

"Let's break up." Myungsoo said.

"What? What are you saying? We barely even kissed yet!" Krystal yelled.

Myungsoo took her face and kissed her violently for about 2 seconds and pulled away.

"There. Now let's break up." Myungsoo said.

Krystal softly touched her lips and a tear rolled down her cheek.

"Myungsoo yah. But, I love you so much." Krystal pleaded.

Myungsoo smirked and turned his back on her and left.

"Kim Myungsoo!" Krystal yelled.

Myungsoo waved his hand without even turning back and went into the building for his home room.

He walked in the classroom and saw Suzy talking with Ji Eun. He walked to Suzy and smiled.

"Hi, sweetie." Myungsoo gently said.

"Hi, Myungsoo." Suzy replied with a huge smile.

"Did you go to sleep well yesterday?" he asked with a wink.

"Yeah! Thanks. You sing really well!" Suzy complimented.

Myungsoo chuckled.

"Thanks. Just call me anytime you need help going to sleep again, okay?" Myungsoo said and winked again.

"Okay. Thanks again." Suzy said.

Myungsoo gave her his killer smile and walked to his seat.

"You guys are dating?!" Ji Eun asked Suzy.

"No!" Suzy answered.

"Why is he acting all lovey dovey with you?" Ji Eun asked.

"He's trying to be a nice friend!" Suzy defended.

"Yeah, sure! 'Friend'" Ji Eun said sarcastically.

"Lee Ji Eun. You know I don't want a boyfriend until I go into college!" Suzy said.

"Oh yeah. But that's next year, so you don't have to wait so long anymore." Ji Eun said.

"Yeah, I guess." Suzy replied.

"Do you like Myungsoo?" Ji Eun asked.

"No way! I really don't like anyone. I don't even know the feeling of 'like'. Unless its with my family and friends." Suzy said and started playing with her hands.

Ji Eun looked at her and shook her head.

"Suzy, Suzy, Suzy... You're way too innocent.... OH! I forgot! How's your mother?" Ji Eun asked with huge eyes.

"Oh. I didn't get to visit her yesterday. But, I'm pretty sure she's doing fine. I'm visiting her today!" Suzy shouted with excitment.

"Oh! Tell me how she's doing, okay?" Ji Eun asked.

"Of course!" Suzy said.

"Umma!" Suzy shouted as soon as she saw her mother in the hospital room.

"Suzy yah! How's my baby doing?" Her mother said.

"I'm doing fine, umma! How have you been doing?" Suzy asked.

"Doing fine! How was school today?" her mother asked.

"Very nice!" Suzy answered as she started to unpack her lunch that she had made for her mother.

"What is this?" Her mother asked.

"I made you your favorite food! Kimbab! (A/N: Kimbab is sushi.)" Suzy shouted. "Wow! Looks so tasty!" Her mother said as she took a bite.

Suzy giggled and gave her some water.

"Oh! I just remembered. How were you yesterday alone at home?" Her mother asked worriedly.

"Oh yeah. I was a little scared but my friend accompanied me by talking with me on the phone." Suzy answered.

"Oh, was it Ji Eun?" Her mother asked.

"No. It was a new friend. His name is Myungsoo." Suzy replied.

"Myungsoo? Is he nice?" her mother asked.

"Yeah. He's very nice." Suzy answered.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Her mother teased.

"No, umma! I only like him as a friend!" Suzy shouted and giggled.

"Suzy yah.. Meet a good guy, okay? Not a guy that will just play with you and leave you in a blink of an eye, okay?" Her mother said.

"Of course! Why would I want a guy like that?!" Suzy said with a smile.

"Good. You promise me, right?" Her mother asked holding up her pinky finger.

"Promise." Suzy answered and linked her pinky finger to her mother's.

Suzy smiled and started feeding her mother.
