After the successful debut of EXO-K and EXO-M, SHINee's comeback, and the formation of SNSD's TaeTiSeo, SM Entertainment's President, Mr. Lee Soo Man, decided to announce the formation of a new girl group that would be debuting in late May or early June. Three days prior to the announcement of the new girl group, there had been rumors circulating among the netizens about this new girl group after they had seen the posts of various SM Entertainment's singing idols in their Twitter, Cyworld and me2day accounts regarding about this matter.
The new girl group, SOUL (영혼), are said to have six members that had undergo extensive training and showed exemplary skills in singing, and dancing.
More information about this new girl group would be revealed later on.
