Description
Kim Sooyeon is a young girl who came from an affluent background. Since young, she was expected to be like her older sister: the genius in academics, the president of the Student Council, the well-versed girl in the many co-curricular activities, and the ideal role model for the students. Sooyeon was expected to be the ideal person to lead her family's company one day, just like her older sister. But the thing is Sooyeon doesn't want any of that. Good-natured, shy, and sweet, Sooyeon is a girl with high artistic abilities and dreams of publishing her works of art for the whole world to see.
Enter Kim Ryeowook, the shy and sensitive boy who dreams of being a well-known vocalist in the future. He always thinks of the good aspects of life. Never complaining, never thinking anything negative. He always thinks that everything happens for a reason. He may not exactly be the most sociable person around but his simple yet cheerful words and manner always manages to bring life out of Sooyeon’s dull and colorless life.
As Sooyeon begins her newfound friendship in Ryeowook, she learns the true meaning and importance of happiness, friendship, and possibly even love. And at the same time, Sooyeon begins reaching for her dreams.
But the question is: Can Sooyeon and Ryeowook reach for their dreams? Especially when everyone seems to be against them?
Two people with similar goals cross paths with each other and journey as they cross the many rough and difficult roads and into the new world…

Kim Sooyeon
Age: 17
As she is born in the infamous Kim Group, Sooyeon was expected to be groomed into perfection, just like her older sister. But Sooyeon doesn't want any of that. All she ever wanted is to showcase the entire world her works of art, and seek the happiness and joy she's been missing in her dull, colorless life.
Kim Ryeowook
Age: 18
Shy, sweet, and sensitive, Ryeowook always believes in all things good. He lives by the saying that, "Everything happens for a reason." He always remain cheerful, never negative, even when the going gets tough. He dreams of becoming a famous singer one day.
Im Yoona
Age: 17
The cheerful and eccentric best friend of Sooyeon. Although carefree and childlike, she's not afraid to stand up for herself and turns scary when provoked or angered. She wishes for the day that she could finally see a true smile from Sooyeon.
Kim Taeyeon
Age: 18
Sooyeon's older sister and heiress to the Kim Group. Even though she is perfect and ideal in everything she does, under that mask of perfection is actually a dorky and sweet Taeyeon. Although she is the heiress to the Kim Group, Taeyeon has never been pressurized by it and always show her cheerful and bright exterior.
Cho Kyuhyun
Age: 17
Ryeowook's best friend. He's snarky, witty and sarcastic who actually has a soft side that he rarely shows. He is competitive in beating Taeyeon in terms of academics, although the latter never really give much thought to it. He is also an avid gamer and loves to blackmail his peers.
Kim Jongwoon
Age: 18
Sooyeon's and Taeyeon's childhood friend. Even though he is weird and sometimes erratic, he remains loyal to his friends. He would always do his best to please the people who were important to him, especially Sooyeon, who he views as more than a friend.

Hi everyone! Basically, this was inspired after I Iistened to 'Into the New World' by SNSD. This also stems from my dream that happened a few nights ago. I should have posted this sooner or later but my memory when it comes to replaying my dreams again. And just so you know, Sooyeon and Ryeowook are not related. Jongwoon (or Yesung) is just a childhood friend of Sooyeon and Taeyeon, so he is not related to them in any other way (I don't do ). Anyways, Chapter 1 will be posted up soon. I hope you guys will enjoy this story. :)
