Hwasong Shrine was peaceful and quiet. The scenery was calm, the birds were chirping, and four ghosts were bored out of their undead minds. “I don’t even remember the last time someone prayed to us.” A young looking male ghost with an attractive pout whined to his companions, much to their disinterest. They floated around in undisturbed serenity.

“Chanyeol ah, can you let me clip my bonsai in peace?” Another male ghost replied to the speaker, carrying an authoritative aura around his ghostly person.

This time the speaker was a young woman, who obviously spoke with cheekiness. “You mean the bonsai that you can’t physically touch?”

“Jihyun, I am spiritually clipping it. Let me spiritually clip in peace.” The authoritative male ghost, known as Suho (instead of Joonmyun) pouted as he replied to the cheeky comment.

The last companion in their four-member team couldn’t help but ask, “How do you spiritually cut anything?” This was Saehyun.

Before Suho could properly reply, the first speaker let out another whine. “Don’t any of you care that we haven’t had any business in months?”

“It’s not our fault there are things like dating sites and dating simulation games.” pointed out Jihyun, acting as the voice of reason in place of Suho, who was still spiritually clipping his bonsai.

Saehyun pouted, making use of her cute undead face. “Damn Tokimeki Memorial. What happened to good old fashioned romance?”

Chanyeol suddenly looked like he struck gold, and couldn’t help but yell, “We should make an advertisement!” He smiled happily, while his teammates looked at him strangely.

“What kind of advertisement can we make? We’re dead.” Suho looked at his best friend, as if he had too much ghost caffeine.

Chanyeol tsk-ed and wagged a transparent finger in Suho’s face, while Saehyun was quick to warm up to the idea.

“We should start by introducing our department.” said Saehyun, already excited. “Hwasong Shrine’s Love Department here! We’re up and ready to give you that fateful push in the right direction!” joked Saehyun, saying this in her “announcer” voice.

Chanyeol was quick to add to the impromptu advertisement. “With just one little prayer, your love problems can be answered!”

Jihyun snorted and couldn’t help but put in her own two cents. “Note that we are only ghosts, and not miracle workers. We’re not held liable by Hwasong Shrine ghostly law if your relationship does not work out in the end. We just get it started!”

Suho, although against the idea of doing an advertisement that no one but themselves would hear, stared in disapproval at Jihyun. “Why would you say that?”

“Because we’re not miracle workers. We’re just dead.” retorted Jihyun, pouting. “Warning, do not be alarmed if some crazy supernatural events start to occur after the prayer is placed and processed! The magnitude of each ghostly interruption may vary.”

“No prayer back guarantee!” chirped Saehyun, cheerful smile in place.

“Thank you and have a nice day!” quipped Chanyeol, bright smile on his face. Jihyun stifled a laugh at the ridiculousness of Saehyun and Chanyeol, while Suho looked incredulous.

“What kind of advertisement was that?” complained Suho.
