When Jaejoong left me in the park, he went to Jessica’s house, but she’s not home. He was told by Jessica’s mother that Jessica is still working and will not be home until midnight. With that, he went home and called Jessica.

“Is this Kim Jaejoong?” a man’s hoarse voice from the other line asked Jaejoong. “Y-yes, it is. Who are you? What are you doing –“ Jaejoong replied. “I have Jessica right now, so as your girlfriend Mi Yeo. Don’t call any police or seek any help at all. If you want them alive, go here alone. I’ll tell you the address,” Jaejoong scribbled the address on a post-it near his bed. “Remember: go here alone if you still want them alive, but you can only choose one” the man on the other line noted Jaejoong. “Wait! How would I know if she’s really with you?” Jaejoong asked, referring to Jessica. The man let Jaejoong hear Jessica’s voice over the phone, “Oppa! Oppa! Help me they’re –“ Jessica’s voice is desperate. “Don’t you dare hurt her!” Jaejoong raised his voice and is now angered. Then the man on the other line hanged up.

Little did Jaejoong know that it was all fake. Jessica’s acting as a hostage. A hostage being held up by her own men. “Stupid,” Jessica told me when she finished her little phone call with Jaejoong. I heard it all, how Jaejoong will do anything just to save Jessica, even risking his own safety. I heard how Jaejoong still chooses Jessica over me. “You confirmed it already. Why did you have to make him go here?” I murmured. Jessica laughed again, “Actions speak louder than words, don’t they? It hurts more to see Jaejoong protect me than just hearing it over the phone.”

Don’t come, Jaejoong. Don’t come here and save her. I don’t want to see you risk your life just for her. I don’t want to see you choose her over me for the 3^rd time. Don’t add more pain to what I’m already suffering. Don’t be a fool.

While waiting for him to ‘save’ her, Jessica started to dress up as a hostage and commanded her men to treat her like one. I don’t hear the rest of their planning because I’m busy hearing my own thoughts. Then I hear can engines outside this hide-out. Must be Jaejoong, saving the one he chose – which would be her, not me.
