History- Chan Yoon had a normal childhood. She was born in Seoul but moved to America at the age of 6. While she was  living there, she became fluent in English and English was then considered as her first language but later on learned Korean because of her parents. She lived there for many years  but left at the age of 12 to go back to Seoul because of the amount of stress her mother and father were experiencing. Her Mother and Father stopped working and suddenly her family lost 2/3 of their money. Chan Yoon wanted to help gain money. So she became a trainee at SM. Her parents didn't know that she was getting a job as a trainee until they found out why she was in and out of the house every week. Her mother supported her and gave her some hope so that she would reach her dream. On the Other hand her father was not impressed and her told her how much she was gonna get once she became famous. He did not support her and he would always oppose her job as a trainee. Her father gave up, divorced her mother and left the house never to return. The last time Channie saw her father was when he had married another woman and had another family of his own. But her mom got married to a man who loved each of them like they were his own flesh and blood.
