Lost You
“Make it stop!” My voice echoes the leather straps dig into my skin as I squirm, but restrained, I could do nothing and a scream rips through my chest when no one comes.
My hair clings to my face, hot sweat covers me like a blanket and a fire burns through me, scorching everything within. My eyes felt wet, and I clenched my teeth as I felt my whole body trembling.
The heat swirled in me, but dimmed and I was panting, taking in a deep breath as if I’d been deprived of it for who knows how long.
How long had it been? Half an hou-
The heat returns full force, my heart aching and feeling ready to tear out of my chest, I feel my back arch, and the straps tying my wrists down beside me cut my flesh, and I feel the red liquid trickle between my fingers.
“Please!” I scream to the empty room, and then a bright white light turns on, blinding me and forcing me to squint, more tears slide down my face and I struggle harder when a group of faces wearing surgeon masks fill my vision.
