Days passed since Changbin moved in with Taeyang and Nara, they basically became a small family, everyone in the building knew about them, though they didn’t know exactly what was going on, they just knew the two were raising Nara together.

 

Wooyoung and San also met Changbin often and they finally worked out their problems with one another and peacefully went on with their lives.

 

“Taeyang do you have everything?” Changbin asked the boy.

 

“Yep~ I can’t believe I’m going back already,” Taeyang said as they started leaving the apartment, Wooyoung came and picked up Nara only a few minutes ago and Changbin had to get to work and Taeyang was having his first day back at university.

 

The day before they went shopping for supplies for the boy, they were both excited about it, Changbin because he could help the boy continue towards his dream and Taeyang because it slowly felt like his life was slowly falling into place.

 

“Hmm, tonight we are having the dinner party right? To celebrate your return to school” Changbin said with a big smile.

 

“Yep we do, are the other hyung’s still okay with coming all this way? I know Jisung hyung and Chan hyung don’t mind since it’s so close to your office but the others have to come from far” Taeyang asked and Changbin smile a bit more before turning to the boy and pinching the boy’s cheek.

 

“None of them even hesitated to reply, they all want to come over, they all care about you~ so don’t think that it would bother them okay?” Changbin told the boy and Taeyang nodded before he let out a bubbly laugh.

 

Changbin smiled fondly at the boy, he was really falling way too hard for him. 

 

“Here we are, I’ll see you later okay?” Changbin asked the boy as they stopped at the bus stop, he nodded a little, he was nervous to go back to school but this whole time he felt okay because the older was right beside him but now that they were parting he couldn’t help but feel all the nerves rushing back.

 

“Hyung before you go can I get a hug?” Taeyang asked and Changbin nodded and held his arms open, Taeyang gave the older a tight hug before breaking it when his bus arrived, he looked at the older for a second, he placed a small kiss on his cheek before running onto the bus.

 

Changbin stood there stunned for a little, still trying to process what just happened, he couldn’t believe the boy would kiss him, even if it was just on the cheek he still couldn’t believe it.

 

Changbin eventually started walking towards his office, still, in a daze, he went on like that throughout most of his day at work, his heart wouldn’t calm down at all and he felt like he was reading way too much into it, his friends often gave him kisses but with Taeyang, since he liked the boy he couldn’t help but hope there was more to that little peck. 

 

As work started to draw to an end Jisung and Chan went to the boy’s office, they were both still a little scared, although it had been a while since Changbin got out of the hospital they were still a bit worried he would end up pushing himself over his limits, especially because they noticed how out of it he was throughout the day.

 

“So want to tell us what’s up? You’ve been in a daze the whole day, did something happen?” Chan asked the boy.

 

“Hmm, you could say that,” Changbin said with a nod.

 

“What? Who am I fighting?” Jisung asked him seriously, his seriousness made Changbin laugh a little.

 

“No one, it’s just this morning when I was seeing Taeyang off, he asked me if he could hug me, and once we broke the hug he kissed me on the cheek before he ran off, I guess I just don’t know how to process it, I have liked him for so long and all this time I’ve been telling myself that he was either too young for me or that it would be best to stay away from him but in the end, it seems I just keep falling more and more into this endless hole,” Changbin told them.

 

“But from what I have seen it doesn’t seem like Taeyang is someone who mindlessly does things like that, I mean among all of us he really looks at you differently, and that time when you had to go to the hospital, I talked to him and I could tell he really cares about you, I think this is something you both should talk about,” Chan told him.

 

“Ah his dad mode has kicked in,” Jisung said in an amused tone.

 

“I’ll talk to him, I have no choice because the more I’m with him the harder it’s getting to suppress my feelings,” Changbin told the two who happily nodded.

 

The three left shortly after their talk since Wooyoung let Changbin know that he was on his way with Nara since Taeyang was going to class Wooyoung promised to drop Nara off at Changbin’s office.

 

Today Changbin, Chan, and Jisung were only working for half of the day since they wanted to prepare the party for Taeyang, the others had work to do so they couldn’t take much time off, so since the trio finished all their work they had they were pretty much free to go off whenever they wanted.

 

“Uncle~” a little voice called out once they got outside, Changbin instantly smiled when he saw the little girl running towards them.

 

He crouched down and held his arms open, he almost fell over when her little body made an impact with his, he smiled and wrapped his arms around her picking her up.

 

He thanked Wooyoung for dropping her off, the trio now becoming four went off to the supermarket to go buy everything they needed for the party, and as a little treat they also picked up some ice cream.

 

They went to Taeyang’s apartment and started to prepare everything.

 

Slowly one by one their friends started to arrive and finally, the main character of the night appeared.

 

They had fun talking and eating together, at one point Taeyang excused himself to go give Nara a bath, they returned back to the dinner party, at one point Nara fell asleep and Changbin took her to her room, tucking her into bed before joining everyone again.

 

They drank a bit of beer and Soju and generally just caught up with one another and asked Taeyang how it was being back at school.

 

They all agreed to stay over at Taeyang and Changbin’s since it was already late and the two didn’t want them to leave when it was that late, so they set up everything in the living room so they could all sleep and for Changbin and Taeyang they still shared Taeyang’s room.

 

Although it had been a while that Changbin had been there, they were both quite busy, Taeyang was preparing to return to school and Changbin had to finish up a few songs, so they never got to switch them up, Changbin was actually really happy about it although he did feel guilty at times, it felt like he as taking advantage of the boy.

 

The two went to their room since everyone else fell asleep after washing up.

 

“Hyung are you sleepy?” Taeyang asked him and Changbin shook his head, he couldn’t even think about sleeping, there was so much he wanted to figure out, so much he wanted to be able to clear up with Taeyang, the kiss, the way the boy treated him so different from there friends… it was a lot to keep in.

 

“Then Hyung can I tell you something?” Taeyang asked the boy, Changbin turned to the boy and nodded a little.

 

“Hyung I fell in love with you,” Taeyang said suddenly, causing Changbin to stare at him for a bit, he felt like it was a dream, it felt unreal, there was no way he heard those words right.

 

“Sorry Yang-ah I think I heard wrong, can you repeat that again?” Changbin asked him.

 

“Sure hyung, I fell in love with you, I love you very, very much, so much so that it feels like my heart is about to explode,” Taeyang said seriously.

 

“Really? Wait REALLY?” Changbin said once everything started sinking in, Taeyang nodded a little nervous.

 

“Wait, wait so that kiss on the cheek this morning and the hugs, the way you treat me different from the others… everything wasn’t just my imagination then?” Changbin said in surprise.

 

“I’m sorry if that thing’s made hyung uncomfortable, it was just getting harder to just sit and do nothing about these feelings, especially after I learned that you and Wooyoung hyung dated, it made me feel like there was a little hope for me, but sometimes you would treat me like a little kid and it got a little frustrating” 

 

Changbin didn’t know what to say, he was to shocked to get anything out but he did find himself moving closer to the boy, he cupped his cheeks and smiled a little. 

 

“Is it okay if I kiss you?” Changbin asked softly, the boy nodded with a small smile on his face, Changbin closed the space between them and kissed the boy who responded without hesitation.

 

Their kiss lasted for a while, the only real reason they broke it was because they couldn’t breathe anymore.

 

“I Love you too, I have for a really long time,” Changbin said in a whisper, Taeyang let out a small bubbly giggle which made Changbin laugh as well.

 

They were happy.
