One would think two people who found themselves in a particular situation that involves kissing each other out of the blue, would normally usually talk it out with each other and discuss it together just to acknowledge what in the world was going on between them.

Especially, when those two people involve the boss and their secretary.

Doing this will not only avoid confusion on either end of the spectrum but will also do wonders in communicating each other's feelings across.

So, it's really no surprise, that as of now, Eunbi is beyond confused over absolutely everything.

You see, after the morning of their heated make out session and after the CEO had left the blonde alone... none of them had said a word to each other again on that day. 

Well, nothing involving the important matters at hand anyways. The only verbal exchange they experienced was one of minimal communications between a boss and their assistant. Anything that had happened prior to that was all left unspoken as if the event hadn't ever ocurred at all.

And lord, did it confuse Eunbi. 

Sure, she can't lie either, the blonde hadn't done anything to bring up the topic with Sojung either, being way too afraid to speak up, every time that idea pops into her head

Heck, these days, she wasn't even sure how she's meant to even function properly around the older.

But she had expected something... anything, maybe even a reaction from Sojung, at least from when she had come back from her little trip to notify the cleaning crew about a spillage.

But nothing...

Per usual, the CEO would walk straight to her table and ask about the task she had assigned to Eunbi.

And Eunbi, stomach filled with butterflies and head absolutely blank, was too scared to do anything but go along with her boss.

And it's been like this ever since, for about a week now.

Back to the normal secretary and CEO relationship as if nothing had ever happened...

Except for Eunbi, absolutely nothing is normal.

Nothing was normal about the way she couldn't meet Sojung's eyes when she had to report back to her.

Northing was normal about being short on breath every time she was even near the CEO.

Nothing was normal about how her heart feels like stopping every time Sojung catches Eunbi staring at her... and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS NORMAL ABOUT THE WAY SOJUNG WOULD SMIRK RIGHT AFTER... a smirk that, mind you, is still yet to be completely confirmed, as it disappears from the woman's face in a blink of an eye and Eunbi was too embarrassed to take a second look.

Nothing.

Nothing was normal anymore.

So why the hell is Sojung acting like everything is?

Why is the woman so cold to her? And not even cold because it's as if she's trying to avoid the blonde,

cause that'll at least suggest the CEO was thinking about it too.

but no, she's cold because that's her natural composure. It's how Sojung naturally expressed herself to everyone. And Eunbi was no exception.

The secretary hadn't mind the distance before, but now with everything that had happened, it's the one thing that's driving her nuts.

Perhaps this is something she should just leave behind her as well... Something that's best left forgotten into the deepest compounds of her mind. 

Heck, perhaps that's even why Sojung had been so nonchalant about everything... because maybe she had already allowed the entire situation to slip her mind...

And hell, did Eunbi tried her best to forget... but just how in the world is she meant to do that when Kim Sojung's face is literally the only thing she can think about all day?

When she goes to sleep, when she wakes up, when she's spacing out on the bus and when she's spacing out at work...

The latter would sigh to herself after entering the company's elevator to go back to their office after lunch, as she starts questioning if she'll ever be able to survive her remaining contracted time here at this rate...

The elevator only travelled up to the second floor when the door slid open, revealing a great quantity of employees that had just finished their lunchbreaks too... But Eunbi couldn't take any of them in...
