Not Again!

Adonis Camp II

“Y-you….” Leeteuk stuttered, collapsing into a seat with shock.

All the other members, too, seemed to share the same feelings.

“P-Park Inyoung-noona!?”

“Neh, that’s me!” Inyoung shouted gleefully, relishing the mixed reaction she received. Some seemed relieved, some still shocked, and others horrified.

“WHYYYYYYYY???” Leeteuk wailed as he covered his eyes. “THIS CAN’T BE HAPPENING!”

“Why?” Inyoung repeated, smirking happily. “Because I’m your sister, silly. Who else would know you guys better?” Her smile only widened at Leeteuk’s loud groan.

“Why would you need to know us well, noona?” Ryeowook asked innocently. “And why was there a secret camera? I thought we were just going on vacation!”

“Ah, yes, about that,” Inyoung forced herself to look away from her poor brother that was surely having a breakdown at the moment. “Well first, let’s invite the cameramen on board!”

All fifteen boys watched, slack-jawed, at the three cameramen that boarded the bus, as well as numerous producers…and their manager.

“What? Hyung, you knew about this?” Kangin asked.

“Never mind that,” Inyoung waved dismissively. “I thought I said this was a secret camera already! Of course your manager knew!” she giggled as she recalled their reactions. “It went absolutely perfectly! Well, almost perfectly. We had another fake tarantula that we were going to drop down Heechul’s shirt, but oh well.”

“You were planning to do WHAT?!” Heechul screeched in anger.

“Yeah, that really didn’t work out. Zhoumi’s reaction was priceless though!” Inyoung said contemplatively, completely ignoring Heechul. Zhoumi grew red with embarrassment at her comment. She then turned to Yesung. “How could you tell it was fake in the first place?”

“I collected bugs,” Yesung said seriously, before Shindong clapped a hand over his mouth.

“Don’t even get him started,” he warned, “he’ll go on for hours!”

All this time, Kyuhyun had been surveying the situation with narrowed eyes, not at all amused. Finally, he decided to speak up.

“Yeah, yeah, it’s great how the secret camera worked out and we’re all so excited to see you, Inyoung-noona,” he started off with a hint of sarcasm and smugness in his voice, “but that’s not the big question here, is it? I knew it was too good be true when we were told that every one of the members had an entire week off, and not only that, but the company was going to pay for it and everything. If there was a secret camera, it must be for a show of some sort, right? But what show? Shouldn’t that be the big question? And whether or not we’ll actually get our vacation?” he analyzed with a raised eyebrow.

“Aish, Jungsoo-ah, teach your maknae some manners, will ya?” Inyoung tutted, shaking her head. “Didn’t anyone teach you to respect your elders? No? No wonder most new fans couldn’t believe that Kyuhyun was the maknae. Ah, such a disappointing leader and maknae… ”

Kyuhyun and Leeteuk both opened their mouth to protest, but a look from Inyoung shut both of them up. She smiled cheekily, then turned to face a camera.

“Annyeonghaseyo! Welcome to… Adonis Camp II! I will be the main host for this show, Park Inyoung!” She bowed with a flourish.

“W-wait, did she just say Adonis Camp II?” Hangeng stuttered. He remembered in the first Adonis Camp, he’d decided to just drop in and join because it seemed fun, but instead he’d been forced into doing military workouts as “punishment” when he hadn’t even done anything at all! He shivered at the bad memories. It was pure abuse and cruelty!

“What’s that?” Henry asked quizzically. If it was a show, it’d be fun, right? So why did all the hyungs look so scared?

“Does that mean we have to do whatever you say, just like last time?” Sungmin asked. “Like getting up early to do random morning exercises? Please noona, can we not do that this time?” Sungmin pouted expertly with his large puppy eyes.

“Awww, you’re so cute, Minnie-ah!” Inyoung gushed while pinching his cheeks. Sungmin winced, but kept up his aegyo.

“Unfortunately for you, it’s a yes to the first question! If you don’t listen to me, well, let’s just say that you won’t be very happy campers! But,” she tapped her chin in thought, “I probably won’t wake you up early. I mean, I still need my beauty sleep too!”

“Ahem.”

“Besides, I’ve always hated doing morning exercises in school. I mean, come on—”

“AHEM.”

“—they are SUCH a waste of time. No morning exercises, but I’ll probably—”

“PARK INYOUNG! Would you PLEASE stay on track and LOOK AT YOUR MC CUE CARDS??”

“E-eh? Ah, sorry PD-nim,” Inyoung jumped as she fumbled with the cards in her hands, which Leeteuk stared at longingly.

Inyoung cleared . “Now that the pre-show entertainment is out of the way, let’s get started! How about you guys all introduce yourselves?”

With that statement, fifteen boys quickly straightened, snapping to attention.

“Annyeonghaseyo, uri Shupah Juni-OEYO!” the boys chanted in unison, and proceeded to briefly introduce each member.

“Okay! Now will be the explanation of the rules! Like last time, you will be divided into teams that will compete against each other. Except this time, you will be divided into three teams of five. These teams will be made through a series of games that we will play shortly. However, after today, there will only be two teams on the show at a time. Since you guys are all established idols now, we will have a rotation where a team is switched out every two days. This way, you can all get around to your necessary schedules as well.”

“So, are we going to be doing this for a week?” Ryeowook asked hesitantly.

“Ah, that will depend on you guys! If the show does well, we may go longer than that!” Inyoung answered with a wink. Seeing Ryeowook gulp, she quickly added, “But don’t you get any ideas! If the show doesn’t do good because you guys are just trying to get out of it, then…” she trailed off menacingly, allowing the members’ imaginations to take over. They all paled simultaneously.

“Anyways, now on to how we’re going to split teams! First, we’ll “eliminate”, so to speak, one person, who will basically have no say in who his teammates will be. He will be, in a sense, the last one picked.”

“Wait, so we get to pick our own teams?” Donghae asked, confused.

“Kind of. Just be patient, I’ll explain. After that, you will all get to pick a partner, creating seven groups of two.  We will play another game, and the losing partnership will be separated and will join the first loser as being the last picked. The remaining six groups of two will play a third game, in which the top three teams will move on to play a fourth game to determine the order of which they can choose their other team members from the losers. That’s it in a nutshell. Got it?”

“Uhh, noona, could you repeat that, but slower?” Hangeng asked, scratching his head. Zhoumi and Henry nodded fervently in agreement. Inyoung sighed.

“How about, EXCLUDING the foreigner members, do you guys follow me?”

“Yah! Hankyung’s not a foreigner anymore! If you keep saying that, he’ll keep using that as an excuse!” Heechul in. He paused. “On the other hand, how could anyone follow that?”

“Yeah, I don’t really get it,” Donghae said slowly. He glanced at Eunhyuk, whose brow was furrowed and wore a befuddled expression. “I don’t think Hyukjae gets it either.”

“I got it,” Kibum said simply, a trace of a smile playing at his lips. Siwon gawked at him, his Shibrows sky-high.

“I got it too,” Kyuhyun added, smugly high-fiving his fellow magnae gamer.

“Aish, if you don’t get it, just go along with it, alright? You’ll get it eventually. But I’m not going to repeat myself!” Inyoung said.

The members all nodded their heads, and couldn’t help but feel a bit curious about what game they were going to play.

“We’re going to play…Don’t Do This*!” Inyoung announced with a broad smile, clapping her hands. “For those of you who haven’t played before, the rules are simple. We will give each of you the same mystery object, and you have to come up with a creative use for it. However, the production staff has already decided something that you’ve been forbidden to do with that object, and the person who performs that act will lose! If no one does it, we have back-ups to choose from, and we’ll pick one at random until someone is eliminated. If more than one person performed the “forbidden act”, we will have another way of elimination.”

“Noona, I thought you said the rules were simple?” Henry protested.

“Henry-ah, the rules ARE simple, I think it’s your Korean that ,” Kyuhyun sniggered, fully taking advantage of the opportunity to tease his only dongsaeng.

“Ahh I know this game!” Eunhyuk exclaimed. “What’s the mystery object?”

“I remember last time, didn’t they give us like dried squid or something?” Shindong laughed. “And also socks?”

“It’s neither of those! It’s…tada!!” Inyoung dangled the object in front of her.

“A piece of PAPER?!”

“Yep! It may seem boring, but there are millions of things you can do with this! You just have to use your imagination!” Inyoung explained expertly. “We will now pass out the paper, you will all have five minutes to come up with something! I’ll give you guyes a tip: try to be creative and do something that no one would ever think of! That way, you’ll know that you’re safe. Okay? Ready, set, GO!”

Their manager watched in amusement, chuckling at how hard the members were working to try to come up with something unique. The way they were so focused, they really did seem like elementary school children. So cute…except when they started to cause trouble. This led to another train of thought, causing him to sigh. The rotation of the teams meant he’d still have to take care of five members at all times. Maybe he’d been too innocent himself when he thought he could just throw them all onto some show. After all, they were internationally loved idols, there was no way they could just drop all their schedules. ‘But’, he thought with a smile, ‘five is still much better than fifteen.’

“Aaaaand TIME’S UP!”

A chorus of groans was heard as the members moved back towards the middle of the bus grudgingly, many fumbling with the creations in their hand.

“Okay! Let’s start! Hmmm, let’s go oldest to youngest, shall we?” Inyoung started cheerfully. “Jungsoo-ah, what did you make?”

Leeteuk, who up to this point had been eyeing his sister with an apprehensive look, took one look at the camera and all nervousness vanished. MC-Teuk had arrived!

“Well,” he said, hiding his creation behind this back, “as a singer and MC, what’s the most important thing you must have?”

“Vocal chords?” Ryeowook guessed.

“Brains, that you obviously don’t have?” Kyuhyun jabbed.

“No! It’s….a MICROPHONE!!”

Everyone stared incredulously scrunched up paper in Leeteuk’s hand. Knowing that it was meant to be a microphone, they could see the resemblance; a fat head, and a skinner part where you were supposed to hold it. But the craftsmanship was, at best, messy.

“What is that?” Heechul guffawed, almost falling out of his seat from laughter. “Really? Is that all you could come up with?”

Leeteuk’s proud smile turned into a scowl. “Then what did you make?”

Heechul straightened, showing his signature smirk. “Well, I didn’t really have much of a choice, did I? I mean, it’s so hot on this bus, and looking all sweaty isn’t an option, so…” he paused for dramatic effect, then whisked out a fan that he’d folded from the sheet of paper. “Ahhh, so much better,” he said, fanning himself. “Can you use that mic of yours? Not only is this fan useful, it complements my face, too,” he said smugly, posing with the fan.

“Heechul-hyung’s right,” Kyuhyun agreed, surprising everyone.

“See, I win,” Heechul said haughtily.

“But,” Kyuhyun continued, “it’d complement you’re face even more if more of your face was covered,” he said seriously, the corner of his mouth twitching.

“Why you—”

“The fan’s cliché, but definitely better than the mic!” Inyoung said with finality. She glared at Kyuhyun and Heechul, before turning to Hangeng. “Hangeng-ssi, how about you?”

“Mine’s not very good,” he said sheepishly, producing something that looked like a bowl or box of some sort. “It’s a, container, I guess? And, if you flip it—” he set it on his head, “—it can be a hat?”

“Ah, a double use! Very good, I think that’s the best we have so far!” Inyoung said, giggling at Heechul’s scowl. “What about you, Yesung?”

He held out his hand, showing a complicated origami folded thingy of a…?

“…Um, what is that exactly?”  Inyoung inquired after a long pause. Knowing Yesung, she tried to make a wild guess. “A, turtle?”

“No!” Yesung looked at her reproachfully. “It’s Kkoming! It’s a dog! Can’t you tell? See, here’s the head, the tail, the body…”

“U-Um, yeah, I see it now,” Inyoung said unconvincingly. “Um, great job!” she added for good measure. Yesung beamed at the camera, not noticing the snickers of the other members.

“O-Okay, moving on now! Kangin!”

“Why are you guys even trying so hard? If you used your brain like me…” he smirked, holding out his hands.

“Um, hyung, isn’t that just a crumpled piece of paper? You sure you did something to it?” Sungmin asked doubtfully.

“Yah! I said use your brain! It could be a ball, the sun, the moon, an orange, anything!” he explained proudly. “What?” he demanded, noticing the blank stares everyone was giving him. “You guys are all just jealous!”

“Suuuure hyung, whatever,” Shindong said impatiently. “Mind is definitely the best so far!” In his cupped hands, he held shredded bits of paper. He blew on them, causing it all to fly from his hands in a flutter. “Confetti!” he crowed triumphantly.

“Woooahhh,” the members couldn’t help but stare in awe.

“That was actually really creative!” Inyoung said, impressed. “Can you beat that, Sungmin?”

Sungmin shrugged cutely, showing the camera an intricately folded flower.

“Waaaaaah that’s not fair, why is Minnie-hyung so good at everything?” Eunhyuk protested, jealously evident in his voice.

“Yah, Sungmin, trade with me, I think that suits me better.” Heechul made a half-hearted effort to snatch the flower away.

“That’s beautiful!” Inyoung praised. “Hmmm, these seem to be getting better and better! Siwon, you’re up!”

“Jesus loves you,” he said seriously, giving all the members a warning look, before handing Inyoung the cross he folded. Everyone looked ready to burst out laughing, but held it in because no one was in the mood for a lecture. Even Heechul held his tongue, but just barely.

“Why thank you!” Inyoung said, blushing slightly. “E-Eunhyuk, you’re turn!”

“I made a shoe!” he said excitedly, standing up. He bounced up and down like a little kid, pointing at his foot.

“Pssshhhh Hyung, you just wrapped it around your foot!” Henry laughed. “And it doesn’t even cover your whole foot! How could it be a shoe?”

“Kekeke it’s not even a sock, Hyukjae!” Heechul chuckled.

“Well, it is!” he pouted angrily. “And it covers MOST of my foot, so I say it’s a shoe! It could just be…a little small!”

“But there’s only one,” Kangin pointed out. “Are you going to walk around with only one shoe?”

“But, but—”

“Aww, it’s okay,” Donghae said as he fumbled with his own sheet of paper. “See, now you have the other one!” Donghae lifted his foot into the air, which now had his own piece of paper wrapped around it messily. Eunhyuk smiled.

“And a million Eunhae fans will be crying tears of happiness when this broadcasts,” Leeteuk commented, shaking his head.

“I think that’s sweet,” Inyoung said with a smile. “Donghae kind of skipped ahead of you, but let’s see what you have, Zhoumi!”

“I made a tie,” he said, attaching the piece of paper to his shirt. He’d folded it into a narrow strip, before tucking the top of it into his collar.

“Gentleman Mimi strikes again, I see!” Inyoung said, nodding in approval. “Moving onto the magnaes! Ryeowook?”

“I also made a hat,” he said, seemingly embarrassed that his idea had already been taken.

“Awww I'm sorry! But as long as that wasn’t the forbidden action, then you’re okay,” Inyoung comforted. “Kibum, what did you make?”

“A basic airplane,” he said simply, presenting it to Inyoung.

“Hey, you took my idea!” Kyuhyun interrupted angrily, ing his plane in front of Inyoung. Kibum’s brow furrowed at the statement.

“Well, they look different to me!” Inyoung said placatingly. “But, don’t you guys think that making paper airplanes would be too easy?”

“I thought that’s what everyone else would think, so I decided to make it anyways,” Kyuhyun defended himself. “Besides, I was modeling it after a plane I have in one of my games!”

“Of course you were,” Hangeng muttered, while the other members murmured in agreement.

“Is it my turn yet?” Henry asked innocently. “’Cause I made a telescope! See?” He didn’t even wait for an answer, showing off his rolled up piece of paper.

“Very good!” Inyoung agreed, slightly relieved that everyone was now done sharing. It’d taken much longer than she’d anticipated.

“Finally, we've gone through everyone, but who committed the "forbidden act?" She asked, trying to build the tension. "Was it only one, many, or none at all? Who will be unlucky person eliminated so early on?" The members fidgeted nervously, and even those who were confident felt a sliver of doubt run through them.

"Time to reveal what the forbidden act is!” She took a folded piece of paper from a PD, then turned to face the camera and began to countdown.

“3, 2, 1…” she unfolded the sheet of paper, showing it to the camera.

“WHAT?? THAT’S SO UNFAIR! Mine was definitely the most FLASHY, most CREATIVE, AND the BEST!!” a voice howled in disbelief.

"....Did I mention there was also a punishment?" Inyoung giggled.

"BWOH?!!"

A/N: O_o That turned out wayyyyyyy longer than I expected...whoops. O_o Anyways, I was going to update last week, but SF&S came out, and I got, ahem, distracted. Big time. So yea, I hope this longer chapter helps make up for it! I know it's a cliffy, but I really needed to cut it off cuz it was already too long. I'm sorry if feels like it drags on and on in places, but I tried. ;(

So yea, the host is Leeteuk's sister!! She's absolutely beast, if you don't know her at all you HAVE to go youtube her right now! Her personality is just....AWESOME! Obviously, since this is a fanfic, her personality is gonna be skewed, but at least you know where I'm coming from :) And, I hope I was able to surprise most of you guys with that.

And as for the splitting of the teams, it's perfectly normal if you didn't understand my explanation, you'll get it eventually. I don't even know how complicated it was until I actually typed it down, and I just decided I would just leave it instead of trying to make it easy to understand. And yes, I've decided to rotate the teams because writing about 15 guys at the same time is wayyy too much (as you can see from how long the game took O_o) and I don't think any of them would get enough attention. 10 is still a lot, but I figured it'd be better than 15. So yeah. :P

Also, although "officially", Siwon is supposed to be a year younger than Donghae, Eunhyuk, and Zhoumi, his parents actually registered him a year later than he was actually born, so he's actually born the same year as them. You can look upt "Siwon's real birthday" if you don't believe me. :P

*About the game name, I know it's a real game that (at least some of) Suju has played before, but I'm way to lazy to go look the real game name. So I made my own. So yeah.

Finally, please COMMENT! It motivates me (a lot, a lot more than you'd think)! Thanks for reading! ^_^
