It was 10 pm and I was alone in Cube’s practice room dancing to my song, A pink’s using A Cube’s practice room so I just decided to make way for them… for now. It’s my lucky night because all of Cube’s trainees are having a break, they don’t know my secret. This is one reason why they moved me to A Cube, to keep my secret safe.

My wig is removed and I was wearing a black tank top and a sweat pants. I ended my practice breathing heavily. I slumped down on the floor spacing out. Suddenly my stomach growled.

Why are you mad? I thought I ate earlier?

I looked at my stomach and tilted my head.

“do you want me to buy a snack?”

My stomach growled once again. It’s like my stomach is talking to me

“all right. Seems like I need some fresh air too.”

I stood up, wore my jacket and left the practice room. While making my way, I bumped to Hong seung sung.

“Annyeong appa!” I beamed. He’s the reason why my secret is super duper safe. I’m so happy my life is like this

“where are you going?” he asked

“going to buy some snacks, do you want some?” he shook his head and ruffled my hair

“you have money right? Be careful on your way” I nodded and he left.

I was moving once again when I bumped into someone. Again.

This time it was manager hyung

“where are you going?” he asked

“going to buy some snacks, do-“

“buy for me too” he interrupted

“give me money” I said showing my palms. He looked at it for a while and quickly escaped

“yah! Oppa! ..  sheesh~” I pouted and made my way outside.

I checked my pockets to see if I really had money. I nodded once I felt my wallet and my phone.

I walked to the convenience store. it’s not that far I guess, it just took me 20 minutes of walking. I opened the door, a few people were there but it was silent. All of them were busy in their own world. I went to the snack section and looked for something yummy.

I looked around and a familiar side view of a man caught my eye. I looked at him again and my eyes widened.

What is L.joe doing in here?

He was just there sitting, staring into space. He sighed and glanced around. I quickly looked away but suddenly realized that I’m not enN. I chuckled at my panic reaction and just calmly continued looking for yummy snacks.

“what does oppa like? .. never mind, he didn’t give me money anyways. I'll buy some for appa!” I whispered, talking to myself. I took some snacks and walked around

I opened the fridge and took a bottle of water. I’m not a fan of soft drinks that much.

I walked to the counter to pay.

Out of curiosity I once again glanced to him. He was looking at his phone intently.

He took his phone and placed it on his ear

Maybe he has a problem?

I shrugged the thought and waited for the line to move

Suddenly my phone rang. The silence inside the convenience store was broken. I took my phone out

Oh, L.joe’s calling

I looked at it for a while and slowly my eyes widened.

Shiz!

I rejected the call and looked back at him. He was looking at me

This damn line ain’t moving!

my phone rang. Again!

He was still glancing at me but this time, with a confused look. I quickly looked at my phone and rejected it once again but placed it on my ear

“hello? Annyeong oppa! Yes I’m still here!” I fibbed out loud, making sure he hears it

Please stop calling mee!!!

While my phone was on my ear it rang again!.

This lying is fail -.-

I quickly looked at it and the caller was manager hyung

I accepted the call

“what!” I hissed

“yah! What’s taking you so long!” he asked

“the cashier went somewhere so the line isn’t moving!!”

Suddenly the doors opened and tada~

... .manager hyung is revealed

“where’s my snack!” he shouted

"......."

“WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!!!” I asked, already starting to panic. I quickly ended the call and waited for his response

“ouch! Don’t be like that ~~~~~~~”

“hyung?”

someone called out. Manager hyung looked at L.joe intently

"are you L.joe?" he whispered. Ljoe nodded

manager hyung then looked at me and back to L.joe

“ohh! W-What are you doing here?” manager hyung said stuttering. I slapped my forehead

I’m doomed

I looked at the line and luck just showed!. I paid my snacks, ready to leave afterwards

“I was just .. umm.. passing by your neighborhood ?” L.joe replied but turned out as a question he quickly questioned manager hyung “what about you hyung? is enN with you?”

“she-“

“she?”

“wait for me to finish alright, I was going to say sheesh..” hyung quickly said

I faceplamed. Manager hyung is not good at lying. He should seriously learn from me

“ ..okay so he’s at the practice room right now. He’s practicing for tomorrow’s Mnet. I just went here to buy some snacks for him”

L.joe nodded “Is his phone turned off? I was calling him but he rejected it, so it means it’s a no. why isn’t he answering then?”

Manager hyung looked at me and I sent him a glare, telling him to lie better

“.. .umm.. actually, I confiscated his phone. I was the one that rejected your call. Sorry about that” manager hyung lied

The cashier gave me the bags and I quickly left.

I just can’t stand being in there, hyung will take care of my secret. if he blows up, I'll hunt him.

I looked at the bags that I'm carrying. I cursed myself for buying many snacks. I was just going to share this to appa and oppa. Why is fate, destiny.. fate?.. desti- whatever!

I was at the dressing room. Ready to record myself for star call when someone knocked, I unlocked the door and L.joe came in.

“annyeong!” he cheerfully beamed

I started “yah.. last night, manager hyung told me that you two met.. why were you at our neighborhood?” I asked

“well to be honest, I was going to visit you but I umm.. got hungry and went to the convenience store.. yeah, I went there.” He said doubtfully

“okay..”

I sat once again and started recording

“annyeong haseyo star call viewers and doubleN’s too! This is enN . Umm.. right now I’m getting ready for my stage” I then lifted my shoulder, showing my arm.

.. Invisible right? Haha~” I laughed and L.joe laughed too. He showed his face behind me

“annyeong haseyo! This is L.joe from Teen Top. Do you want to see some real biceps?"

“yah back off! This is my call!” I said

“I’m already at the back!” he replied and I rolled my eyes

“don’t mind him. He’s just here bothering me” I looked at him and he was making cute faces behind me

“yah! Stop distracting the viewers!” I jokingly said

“I’m not! I was just practicing my facial expressions!” he retorded

“practice my ”

“aha! You said that live!” he pointed, my eyes widened and I quickly bowed my head at the video multiple times

“I’m sorry yoreobeun! I just got carried away! It’s this hyung’s fault!” I glared at him “See! He’s making cute faces again!”

“yay! I’m cute!”

“I’m cuter! Anyways I’ll end this call now. I’ll promise to work hard! and show you many different sides of me! Bye bye~” I waved cutely

“bye bye~ please love us both!” he added and was waving too

I ended the call smiling

“hyung! that was my first star call!” I beamed

“well, aren’t you lucky you’ve done it with me~” he pinched my cheek

I smiled and whispered

“I guess I am”

L,joe was looking at me and I asked "what?"

"..." he slowly began smiling mischievously

“I heard that~” he teased

“yah!”
