Seung hyun was a snow man, the kind everyone wants to make when the snow is soft and pliant. You pack the snow with your gloved hands, stack it together, then dress it with a perfectly good carrot, and that scarf that you stilll kind of like but could throw away. Seung hyun is a snow man, you know? Like everyone puts on him their best intention, treats him as something magical until they leave him in the cold, and let him melt in the sun, come spring. Yes, Seung hyun is a snow man. He is a plastered smile, untiring arms up and in welcome. He is the sludge on your shoe after you forget how perfect he was to begin with.

Snow Fall

The last time Seunghyun saw her, it was snowing. Her face was red, her breath accompanied by intermittent sniffles. But nothing could dampen her winter free-spirit. Not her windburned face. Not her drippy nose. Sandara loved the winter to the absurd. One faulty step sends her almost flat on her face, but Seung hyun catches her by the arm.

"Careful!" He tells her.

She grinned at him. "M'kay," then sniffles.

He wonders if it was getting colder, or if he just starting to miss her already.

"D, I'm going to the military soon..."

She stared at him, her face red, her nose sniffly, hang open.

He wraps his muffler around her, "Be careful while I'm away." A single tear slid down her cheek. He brushes them away casually with his knuckles. "Stay warm." H
