Shock Wave
A God's Will3rd Person***
Chen was walking along the beach of the resort alone in the middle of the night, after all, Gods don't have any need for sleep. He loved the way he felt around Freya, the way her smile radiated within him, the way he made her feel complete even though he never felt like there was anything missing beforehand. Since they'd been around one another he couldn't help but let the clouds rain down as if she was releasing all the tension that he had built up for the millennia of his existence.
His happiness really did show in the clouds, you'd really think that he would stop the rain when he was happy but being God of storms and all he was only ever truly happy when he ruled over the skies.
Chen dug his heels into the sand looking out at the reflections of the moon on the sea with the ocean washing over his toes. The glittering of the surface made the darkness seem like not very much anymore. He was sure Erebus hated places like this, where his time of the solar cycle would be disrupted by a rock floating in the sky. Chen only noticed that something wasn't right when the reflections grew still, no longer was the moon scattered across the surface but showing a perfect reflection, the tide had weakened as well leaving only a gentle slow push forwards and backward.
Chen knew there was only one thing - No - one person that was capable of doing something as drastic as flattening the ocean, whether it was for dramatic effect or otherwise. He looked out on the ocean looking for the cause, and he noticed the presence of a trail of bubbles erupting on the surface moving in a straight line towards him finally the brown hair of his old friend broke the surface of the still water.
His hair was slicked back with water however his clothes were completely dry, protected by the powers that were also capable of settling an entire ocean. Chen
