Everything Is....
Just One WishMom was staring at me like I had two horns on my head. I was about to snap at her when she spoke. "Are you sick? This is the first time you've actually eat breakfast since you've transferred to Seoul International Academy." She said as if she can't believe what was happening that moment.
I shrugged my shoulders as I continued eating. "I just want to eat, okay? I'm tired of your sandwiches, mom."
My mom flashed a very big smile that had me thinking stretched wider. "Finally! I'm tired of nagging you too every morning, you know. Breakfast is the most important meal. You should have known that."
"Of course I know." I muttered as I drank the water from my glass. "I'll go now. I don't wann be late again. Bye, mom." I kissed her on the cheek then dashed out of the house.
"Bye! Take care." Mom shouted before I closed the door shut. I smiled inwardly. At least, mom was always there for me. I felt a sudden remorse deep inside of me as I thought about Jaehyo again. I reached down on my pocket and pulled Jaehyo's phone and I turned it on. I decided to give it back to him today, I just don't know how.
The bus' horn made me jumped and got me back to reality. I ran towards the bus and went to the back seat, it was my haven. I placed my head comfortably at the headrest and looked outside the window, not even noticing someone had seated beside me.
My instinct told me to whirl my head so I did. I gasped and it could be mistaken like I was running out of breath. The one who was sitting beside me was the old woman! Or should I call her a witch or a genie? "Ahjumma..." I said, a hint of desperation can be detected in my voice.
The old woman looked at me with a frown as if she didn't remember me. But after a second, her face brightened. "Kyungmi-shi! It's so nice to see you! How are you?" She had the grace to ask.
