I blinked three times. Oh gosh, I never realized I'm staring at my calendar that's hanging on the wall for five minutes already. I looked at my wrist watch. Holy crap! I'm gonna be late for school, I'm sure. I snatched my pink marker and write an X on the date today. It's my birthday today and nothing so special about it. Sure, it's the day I was born but if you're a social outcast like me, you'll probably feel the same way. I'm a social outcast, yes. Why? Because I'm always being rejected or thrown out whenever I push myself into a social group. It sounds harsh right? Well, that's the truth and please, I beg you not to cry for me. I'm used to it so no worries. Anyway, today is my birthday. Urgh, I sounded like a broken record.

"Kyungmi! You'll gonna be late for school!" Mom shouts from the kitchen. Duh? As if I didn't know that. Pressing my lips together, I dashed out of my room and rush to the kitchen. I grabbed a sandwich and mom glares at me. My reaction? I just beamed at her. "Young lady, you can't go without eating breakfast."
