"hey karen, you sure?"
"yaah you've been at it for near.. two hours now. stop it! you sure you can take this much alcohol?"
"don't you need us to take you home?"
"do you even remember where you stay!"
"what if you meet someone bad out there!"
"girl, its near 12 midnight and its freaking snowing outside!"
"where are you going, you didn't even take your coat!"
"karen, karen! I say come back!"

...
all I remember was listening to the voices of my friends.
aish, what do they know.
I'm just this near.
so near to getting to see jaejoong's face.
stop railing you guys..
don't you know with all the sounds you're making,
you're driving jaejoong away.
he'll not come with all your railings.
and..
I was so near.

then my world went quiet.
the railings weren't heard anymore.

"hey there, wake up!"
I opened my eyes and saw an angelic figure right before my eyes.
this person looks incredibly familiar.
he resembles the person I have on my phone wallpaper.
that same face I've been staring at all the while on my room wall.
he bend forth,
seemingly bringing forth the rays that surround him.
does he have a halo?
is that beam around his head a halo?
he reached in front of my forehead.
and planted a soft kiss on it.
"wake up, princess."

I'm a princess.
his princess.
I  could feel myself grinning in my sleep as I thought to myself and forced my eyes open.
*blinks*

my vision took awhile to clear up to my surroundings which didn't look familiar at all.
that dream-like angelic figure is still there.
*blinks again*

I scratched my head and tried to process the situation I was in but to no avail.
why wouldn't he disappear,
I'm already awake.
aren't dreams supposed to stop when we wake up?
I reached for my eyes and rubbed them vigorously.
"if you're going to rub them any harder, they'd probably hurt alot."
how does he know that it'll hurt.

ouch, it really does.
he reached forth and placed his warm hand on mine.
his grip tightened gently and I could feel the body warmth from him flow through my body.
until it almost reached every single cell of me.
"you feel so cold, your hands. and stop rubbing your eyes to check if you're awake. you are."
he said in a gentle voice,
while removing my hands from my eyes,
not daring to speak loud.
its as if every decibel that was spoken by him carried a tinge and an ounce of concern.
worrying that he'd scare me.

"I'm.. awake?" I asked carefully,
in fear that I'm far too delirious to even tell between dreams and reality.
"yes. in your dreams, do I look so clear?"
he inched closer towards me till our faces were merely an inch apart.
and wrapped his arms gently around me to prevent me from falling right back to the bed.
this guy. is kim jaejoong?

I looked around at my surroundings and was shocked to find myself in a room I swear I have not seen for the whole of my life.
the furnishing around me looked like they were kept neat and tidy,
and I was tucked into a bed with grey covers over me.
there were a few photo frames here and there and even a huge layout banner hanging on the wall.
kim. jae. joong. he's even on the walls around me O_O.
I registered the face and the words into the depths of my cerebral hemisphere.

I shook myself awake mentally.
it can't be it can't be it can't be.
I tried to squeeze memories out of my head and tried to recall what had happened last night.

/flashback/
it was christmas eve and I was drinking for the first time in my friend's house.
the shots got heavier and heavier.
they were bitter when I first started off,
scorching my throat all the way down to my tummy.
and I could still feel the heat emitting within me.
I have to admit it wasn't all that comfortable at first.
but, well, for the festive atmosphere,
I've already turned 18,
so why not?

and as if I was heard by the inner voice within me,
every single shot of alcohol I took became bolder and heavier.
and within a matter of minutes,
the intial hesistant drink became a gulp.
coupled with the dizzying blast of music and the high-pitched talkings around me,
this is a great bang to start of christmas this year isn't it!
/flashback ends/

yes.. so I was drinking last night..
wait, firstly, I'd better shift away from this "person".
maybe I'm still having a hangover so that's why everyone I see is joongie from my dreams last night!
I wriggled away forcefully despite his forceful hold, trying to get up and freshen myself in a washroom.
or.. perhaps run away!
what if this is some imposter prying on young innocent girls like me..
I'm only 18!
my life can't be ruined by strangers, what if he's a prying on young girls!
I need to figure out a plan!

I came down hurriedly from the bed while "jaejoong" was trying to aid me in getting up and dashed to the nearest door I could see.
I looked back and saw him coming after me,
OH NO.
BANG
the pain started spreading over my forehead,
only was it that I realised that in a hurry to rush away,
I didn't notice the protuding part of the wall I bumped onto.

"hey you okay!" he shouted.
I didn't even bother to answer and dashed to the nearest door and went in.
when I did so,
I tightly turned the lock knob on the door and heaved a huge sigh of relief.
now I have to formulate an escape plan!
I mentally applauded my swift though clumsy actions and proceeded to rub my head.

"hey!" the voice rang through the door.
omo, what does this pest want!!!!
"hey, you okay? you don't have to be afraid of me! I'm not like, some baddie, I'm not going to do anything to you!"
yeh right...
I muttered in my head.
"I'm really not a bad person, I won't do wayward things to you! if it helps, I'm kim jaejoong. you know.. like the singer kim jaejoong? from dbsk and now in jyj? THAT kim jaejoong. that's weird! I didn't think anyone would not recognise me! would you come out and let me take a look at your head?" he said in a sincere tone.
"but which baddie would admit they're bad! you must've known my love for kim jaejoong since a long long time ago and that you know he's my idol. so you imposter, you're trying to get me to fall prey to your evil antics! I'm not some dumb fangirl okay! get your facts of me right, though you're smart and you know kim jaejoong is my only weakness, I, karen will not be tricked by your falsity!" I shouted back at him.
"Karen sshi, you're my fan?" I sensed a little joy in his tone, "then good! why do you fear me now! I'm kim jaejoong! so what are you doing inside, I said let me take a look at your head. you were dead drunk , you have no ability to take care of yourself so let me in! or you come out!!" even his voice sounds so much like joongie's.
"what do I have to do to prove to you that I really am kim jaejoong, karen sshi!"
the doorknob began turning.
"then tell me why did you kidnap me!" I said in a gradual softer tone.
"hello, miss! I was nice that I took in a drunk girl who was sleeping by the streets! all you muttered was 'joongie' so I figured I must have some affinity with you and took you home kindly, before some real evil baddie comes along! I don't even let girls into my house and I let you! and you're calling this kidnap??"
