continuation of the previous chapter,
decided to separate this one-shot into two chapters (:

nope the story hasn't ended and I love all your curiosity.
just because your comments made me so very happy,
here I am updating.
and as a mention,
before I forget,
most stories would be a two-shot (unless otherwise stated. I'll put an END to indicate. if yours is just a oneshot without a second part/update, it doesn't mean I hate you or your application/bias, it's just that your oneshot is done and has ended! :D depending on whether its more straightforward or is in dire need of a cliffhanger haha!)

I was examining the key earring and holding it in my palm.
it looked really exquisite and pretty.
nothing like the normal sort of earrings you would find.
it's shimmer was flickering in my eye.
I was contemplating why the figure even gave this to me,
when this seems like it means alot,
and I'm just a stranger who means nothing to him.

just as I was thinking this question over and over,
a girl with plaids walked up to me.
not another anti that I'm getting,
I mumbled in my head.
but when she smiled to me,
I knew that she didn't seem like a hater.
"I'm new to the school too, kwon mihee here."
she stretched out a welcoming hand and I shook it with a smile.
"park aerin, nice to meet you."
she arranged her black rimmed specs above her nose gently,
"by the way, I found you really cool just now!" she chuckled gently.
I shook my head, "no, I was more of a trouble-maker haha. the really cool one was the figure who helped me just now!"
I stated and still remembered that light pine scent he had on him.
"YES I think sunbae is so cool too! he saved you aerin!" she chirped.

mihee, knows him?
"you know him mihee?" I vocalised what was in my head.
she nodded continuously,
"aerin ah, don't you know him? key sunbaenim! he's the president of the student council here in SPSA! ain't he cool?"
she clasped her hands together in admiration?
key, as in, the key earring I'm holding on to?
so he was the one who saved me?
the one who stood up for me when no one did?
that figure with the pine scent on him?
the same person who
"do... you know where to find him?" I questioned.

"ah, you're sunbaenim's fan too? I came into SPSA just because of him! and you must never tell anyone okay! I'm only telling you cause you look like his fan too and you're my number one cool friend I meet."
I looked to her eagerly.
"he's at the stranded backyard behind the school, under the pine trees..." she whispered into my ear.
when she gave me a smile and beckoned me to go ahead,
I could feel my legs leading the way.
not my mind,
but my heart.

when I finally arrived at the backyard which was stranded,
under a pine tree,
I saw the back of the figure facing towards me.
"key.. sunbae?" I called out to him gently,
not wanting to disturb him.
he turned around with a notebook and pen in his hand.
he was rather irritated at first,
the expression that of a person being disturbed in the midst of deep thoughts.
but when he saw that it was me,
his face turned into a light smile.
he left his writing materials on the bench he was sitting on and walked towards me.

"I thought you were kinda cool." he said as he neared me.
something was pulsating in my ribcage,
threatening to explode.
for once I saw the facial features of my saviour this clearly.
he had such fair complexion and a pair of bright eyes to top up his beautiful face with.
he emitted a shine which got me staring at him in awe.
but did he just say that he found me cool?
"me...?" I looked at him and my eyes grew wider.
"yup, park aerin. or should I say Mitsuki? entered SPSA through 2010 Tokyo SPSA auditions. I liked your voice since then."
he said with a smile.

"you saw my audition?" I said,
not remembering to close my mouth properly after I ended my sentence.
"oh well, you could say that. you didn't know that your audition was live-streamed to Korea and I think you didn't know I was the student representative judge on the panel?" he said laughing,
amused at my reaction.
I nodded,
then shook my head.
"yes that's why I said you were cool." he added.
I hitched my breath.
he's not repeating it again right.
it's just a compliment from a stranger,
a beautiful stranger I mean.

"how you liked the earring?" he broke the silence between us,
and I appreciated him for that.
"it was absolutely, beautiful. gorgeous." I said,
boring right into his eyes.
"well, none different from it's new owner. I don't give girls things when I first see them, but months ago when I saw you sing, I knew you'd be special to me."
" you knew then, and now?" I became daring and mustered courage to ask him.
"you don't even know." he patted my head affectionately.

"gotta go for student council meeting, see you in a while!"
he walked away after that.
"sunbaenim, key sunbae! so where do I find you from now on?" I shouted towards his direction.
he turned back and gave me a wink,
"stop calling me key sunbae! its such a long name. oppa will do."

school life is going to be amazing,
and the best part?
it has just started.

sorry for the sudden ending,
I always thought key had the chic feel and thus the chic ending haha.
I'm crapping.

it's a teeny different in its very own way and did I say I have a thing for the idea of performing schools?
maybe it's me and my Dream High obsession,
