“You better have brought us something.” Jongin’s head was in Chaeyeon’s lap as she typed away at her laptop. Kyungsoo looked up out of interest at that statement.
“So needy.” She ruffled his hair without looking down, but then added, “But yes, I got you and Kyungsoo stuff.”
The three of them were sitting in her apartment on their first day back. It was pretty easy to fall back into the routine of school after the break which had been boring. Kyungsoo and Jongin had spent most of their time being nagged at by their mothers, and Chaeyeon had escaped from it all by being in London.
And when she came back, they had done their welcome-home-thing that was turning into a tradition.
“Can you show me your map?” He asked quietly, and she paused, looking down at him. Jongin grinned. “You know you have a double chin from this angle, right?”
She shoved his head off her lap, but returned with the book and bulky packages. She flipped open to the page before handing Kyungsoo the package, which he ripped open to find chocolate and tea.
But Jongin is more interested in the map, and he traces over her words marking out an interesting pub she went to, a lake called Grasmere, and a natural limestone arch called Durdle Door. There was so much to look at, but he flipped open the slip of paper to her sister.
Hey,
You weren’t in England either, but it was beautiful.
