88.Jongin sighed, covering his head and ruffling through his hair. He couldn’t look at another problem of math even if he wanted to, and instead opened the window to let in some fresh air. He had become used to Chaeyeon’s house, and the three of them often ended up there without realizing it.
The cool air flowed in, refreshing the room, and Kyungsoo doesn’t even bother to look up, “Open it a little wider.”
Jongin complied, and Chaeyeon flipped her pen between her fingers, “What if we go and take a walk?”
“Sounds good to me,” Jongin turned back. “Kyungsoo?”
“Okay.”
He shut the window, and the three of them closed their folders and books to slip on their shoes and jackets, heading off into the evening. The air was crisp, and somehow it reminded that Jongin that they were halfway done with their final year of high school. The very little sleep and stress was showing on their faces.
Apparently, he wasn’t the only one thinking that, and Chaeyeon put it into words in the best way possible, “Where do you think we’ll be in a year?”
“Slaving away in university, hopefully,” Kyungsoo’s response made Jongin grin.
“If I get into a top university, I made a deal with my parents,” Chaeyeon’s mouth twisted as she tilted her head back to look up at the cloudy sky. “They said I could travel before university.”
