*Bzzzzzzz* Gyu's alarm clock forced him awake at 4 am.

After a break up that hasn’t ended

"Ngh yes, I can't breakup with sleep just yet..."

"Come on Gyu nap times over," Woohyun lightly spanked him, "We promised we'd be ready to go at 5 am." 

"Ahhnnh but I need more sleep," Gyu begged.

"No, you don't. You need to get up."

"Fine," Gyu groaned while rubbing his eyes, "How's our little angel doing?"

"Good, I guess," Woohyun said while pulling his pants up, "Dongwoo's mom came and got her maybe 20 minutes ago." 

"What!?" Gyu shot up - fully awake.

"Umm yeah, You didn't think we'd sneak her around at work all day did you?"

"Well..no.." Gyu unconsciously pouted.

"Myungsoo's mom is taking her tomorrow."

"I see...I should call my mom to schedule a day, too. It's only fair," Gyu realized.

"Tell me, what are your plans for your upcoming album? Any fanmeets, variety show appearances, or concerts scheduled as of yet?" a chipper female host asked the boys.

"Nothing's set in stone yet," Gyu professionally responded, "but we'll, of course, promote as much as possible and have many fun experiences with our fans."

"We have lots planned," Woohyun chimed in, "but we can't reveal them just yet. It's a secret~" he teased. 

"Big things!" Yeol threw his arms wide up into the air playfully.

"How exciting. I'll be anxiously awaiting alongside Inspirits for sure," the host smiled.  

Every bit a normal interview: the usual questions, the same format, etc. Myungsoo quietly yawned in the back, as Sungjong secretly texted his friends. Gyu and Woohyun answering most of the questions, unless specifically directed towards a certain member. Lots of laughter - and a few bizarre moments, but the atmosphere seemed a bit off and the host had a hunch as to why.

"Sungyeol, Dongwoo, is something wrong? You're not your usual hyperactive selves today?"

 "Ah, sorry. We're a bit tired," Yeol apologized to the host.

"Please excuse them, they had a date last night!" Woohyun laughed, "The two of them and hundreds of Inspirit. Haven't you heard about it yet? It was insane!"

"Yeah, there's ridiculous post all over SNS! Here," Myungsoo pulled up a fancam of Yeol tripping over a ball and falling into a pie stand. Then a second video of the two trying to smash a balloon between their butts.

Jong also retrieved a third video, of the conga line. Which - to not be outdone - Myungsoo pulled up a clip of Yeol losing his because Dongwoo couldn't guess "Star Wars" during charades. Jong's counter attack = Dongwoo wiggling around and scratching his with a ketchup bottle because his hands were tied together - a fault of being kidnapped during paintball.

"I had a bad itch! Take that video off the internet now!!" Dongwoo cried, "That's my personal business..I'm gonna die.." Of course, Inspirit never will. It's there for all eternity like his fart and that time he dried his over the camp fire on 'Law of The Jungle.'

"Wow, Infinite's love for Inspirit sure is unparalleled! You're willing to do anything for your fans," The host laughed. "When will the rest of you have surprise guerrilla dates?"

"I'll have one," Hoya accepted the challenge, "I'll take Sungjong with me!"

"Denied."

"Ha, you got rejected," Gyu mocked, making everyone laugh.

While waiting for Hyoan to arrive at the car upon finishing the interview, Gyu pondered, "I wonder how Infi's doing?"

"Huh? Are you curious?" Woohyun looked towards him, "Actually, Dongwoo's mom's been sending him pictures. Want to see them?" he confessed. "We thought you weren't interested.."

"She's been sending you guys pictures this entire time!?" Gyu yelled.

"Yeah, here's one of Infi with my doggie babies!" Dongwoo gleefully shoved his phone in Gyu's face.

"Why didn't you guys tell me? What? Hey, what if she's afraid of dogs?" Gyu alerted the others.

"Afraid?" Jong scoffed, "I don't know about that."

In any case, Dongwoo pulled his phone back to examine the image closer, "She doesn't look scared.."

"Aish don't worry," Hoya snickered, "She's not a scaredy-cat like you, Gyu."

"Yeah, she looks happy in all of the picture my mom sent.." Dongwoo flipped through the photos, "She's even smiling in the bathtub." 

*blink blink*

"Your mom gave her a bath?" Gyu froze, "Tell--tell her I said thank you.." He sure wouldn't voluntarily give a baby a bath.

Shortly after the driver's door opened and Hyoan interrupted their conversation, "Hey kids, you ready? No one needs to take a leak, right? It's a two-hour drive to the next shoot." 

"I'm fine," Myungsoo replied.

"I already went," "I think i'm good," came everyone else's' responses.

"Perfect, you look like a god! Just like that," the photographer praised Woohyun.

"Tch, like he needs his ego fed even more.." Gyu groaned.

"Look who's talking," Hoya chuckled while leaning into Yeol's ear between camera flashes. 

*Flash flash flash* 

Meanwhile, along the wall, Jong herd his phone go off.

"Yes, who is this? Oh, why?" he began impatiently waving Myungsoo down, whispering "It's Dongwoo's mom."

"What, is Infi ok?" Myungsoo came running worried from Jong's scrunched facial expression.

"Nn, I see. I'll try to convince hyung to let us leave early...Ah.. No..Ok, I understand," Jong spoke into the line before hanging up. 

"Why why, why why?" Myungsoo panicked.

"Dongwoo's mom is taking Infi to the hospital. Her cheeks are all red and swollen. It looks like a bad rash."

"A rash? Is she having an allergic reaction!?" Myungsoo yelled a little too loudly.

"Shh," Jong reminded Myungsoo to keep quiet and spoke softly, "That's what Dongwoo's mom thinks, but she doesn't know. She said not to worry too much." 

"Hey, what's going on over here?" Dongwoo stepped out of the changing room alongside Yeol, "What's with all the yelling?"

"Dongwoo, your mom says that Infi's having an allergic reaction to something," Myungsoo relayed the message.

"Ah, we have to go get her!" Dongwoo shrieked.

"We can't, hyung. We have to finish our schedules," Jong reminded him.

"Ah.. but.." It's true..it's not like they can up and ditch everything for their secret baby.

"I bet she's allergic to your dogs," Gyu interjected as he and the rest of Infinite found their way over to the commotion.

"Mmm pet allergies are common," Woohyun mused.

The rest of Infinite's schedules that day passed dully, as each member could only think about how Infi must be fairing.

"You kids feeling ok? Don't tell me you all got sick again," their manager finally asked on the way back to Infinite's dorm.

"No, tired," Woohyun lied.

"Did Dongwoo's mom say which hospital she took her to?" Yeol asked Jong.

"No.." Jong sighed. He'd been too panicked to ask earlier.

"She took her to a family friend," Dongwoo reassured them, "She specializes in babies." Adding, "They're on their way back now."

"So, did she say what Infi's allergic to?" Gyu asked while sitting next to Dongwoo.

"No, just that Infi's fever dropped after she gave her some medicine."

"Hmmm, how far away is she?" Myungsoo interrupted.

"She'll be here any minute."

Deciding to keep himself busy Woohyun walked towards the closet, "I'll unpack her bouncy chair," and began opening the box.

"Yeah, I'll start building her playpen, too" Hoya joined him.

They'd left all the unpacking and assembling for tonight because they had to get up early. Now, the question was where to put everything.

"Let's leave the playpen in the main living room," Myungsoo offered. "Where should we put Infi's crib, though?"

"Umm.." No one had really thought about it yet, "I guess one of our extra rooms can be Infi's room, but in whose apartment?" Dongwoo suggested.

"Jong has the most room," Gyu reasoned.

 But Jong quickly protested, "You're not pawning her off on me! If her room is in my wing i'll never get any sleep!"

Now here's where it should be illustrated that Infinite's "dorm" is really a large condominium consisting of Woogyu's, Yadong's, Myungyeol's, and Jong's separate apartments - with adjoining hallways all leading to a large central living room. Which is where the walk-in closet is located - and their front door.

Sadly only after 15 minutes of careful consideration, they finally realized that Hoya'd chosen a small crib with wheels. So they could simply roll her into any given wing on any night. Hence, one night with Woohyun and Sunggyu and the next with Dongwoo and Hoya - for example. 

"Right, so we share everything. That's not too complicated," Yeol commented after they worked out an improvised plan. 

Right then they heard the door click, "We're here," Dongwoo's mom cheered as she let herself in with the master key.

"Infi! Gimme, Gimme Gimmie" Yeol and Myungsoo both abandoned their sitting positions and hyperactively ran towards her with their arms stretched out, snatched her up and proceeded to smother her in kisses. Everyone else close behind. 

"Infi, are you ok baby?" "Does it hurt?" they each asked her as if they expected her to answer them. Except, Hoya who tried to act unbothered. I'm not in love with a child I barely met two days ago, no. 

"Mom, what did she say?" Dongwoo turned around to face his mother.

"Oh she simply had a small reaction to a little peanut I fed her," she laughed, "Best to keep peanuts out of her diet from now on, but it doesn't look serious."

"Ah, you almost killed her mom!" Dongwoo screamed. 

"Oh you silly, it was just a little rash. No need to over-reacted," she consoled her son. "Well, I should be on my way. Bye little sweetie~" she waved good-bye to Infi, after kissing Dongwoo on the cheek. 

"Goodbye. Thank you for watching her for us," everyone called out their thanks as she left. 

"Ah.. i'm tired.." 

"Let's go to bed.."

"Right well, who's got Infi tonight?" Yeol asked before raising her up into the air like Simba, "I think I'll take her!"

"No, she'll die in your care," Gyu snatched her away.

"But," Myungsoo protested.

Looking down, "Where's Hammy?" Woohyun mumbled to himself before reaching into Infi's diaper bag to retrieve the stuffed hamster, "Gyu and I will take her tonight." 

Gyu nodded, relieved that it came off as Woohyun's idea, and not his. He wasn't ready to openly confess his affection for the girl, nor how he'd periodically check on her all night to know that she's still breathing.

The next morning.

*Bam bam bam*

Silence.

*Bam bam bam*

Myungsoo stormed out of his apartment to open the front door at 7 am, "WHAT!? We don't have anything until noon!" He ed at their managers. 

"Ngh.. what is it now? Hyung, we weren't ignoring you, we were--" Woohyun instantly tried to make up some bull for ignoring their calls again. ... But gave up halfway through and looked around to see if anyone else wanted to give a go at it. Nope, no one. Too sleepy. "We're ignoring you."

"Where's Sunggyu?" Hyoan forced his way past Woohyun.

"What? Ah.. Ah!" Woohyun turned to catch him, but it was too late. He'd already opened their bedroom door, and right there next to their bed was Infi's crib.

"Kim Sunggyu! Do you mind explaining this to me!?" 

Gyu groaned awake, "Hyung..Hyung!? Why are you here?" He gulped, "It's not what you think!"

Everyone gathered in the living room, Dongwoo protectively holding Infi, as Infinite's managers scolded them for being so secretive and careless. 

"Whose child is it? Who couldn't keep it in their pants?" they lectured.

"No, it's not like that! We found her outside," Dongwoo defended.

"You found a strange infant and decided to bring her home?" Yep, they were livid. "Where are her parents? Don't you think they're worried sick that you kidnapped their child?"

"She doesn't have parents," Jong shouted, effectively silencing them for a moment.

"Honestly, we don't know that yet," Dongwoo explained, "Hyung really, we already contacted the police, and CPS doesn't have room for her. Please, have a heart," he pleaded.

"...But how did you find out?" Hoya asked.

"How? How!? Look at this!" they pulled open a laptop to a website titled "Infinite's Recent Strange Behavior: Suprise Guerilla Date or Distraction?' equipped with fan theories and sasaeng photos of ill-disguised members at Babies R' Us, followed by Woohyun holding an unknown infant. The final collage was of Dongwoo's mom bringing Infi to their dorm then leaving without her. 

"We caught you. I knew you were all hiding something."

*Gulp* Never underestimate sasaengs...
