Chapter 19
Departure's Boy-friendMinseok had never before beheld Luhan lose his temper and composure so badly.
“My first!” Luhan wheezed, fingertips clawing at his face, pulling the skin of his cheeks down. Minseok was scared for his friend’s mental health. For a while he was convinced Luhan had gone bonkers.
“Calm down, Lu –”
“Calm – calm down! Calm down?!” Luhan screeched at the top of his lungs; Minseok winced at the volume.
“Your Jongdae” – Luhan stabbed Minseok in the chest with a finger – “is gonna suffer for this.”
“He’s not my Jong –”
“How dare him!” Luhan spun around on his spot, this time seizing his own hair with both hands, yanking at the strands.
From what Minseok had managed to gather from his hysteric best friend, Jongdae had dared a junior student to kiss Luhan. It was his first kiss. He had constantly told Minseok how he wanted his first to be romantic, sweet like in those fluffy movies and novels. He would dream aloud how the kiss would happen underneath a twilit sky in his beloved’s arms, surrounded by fragrant flowers, somewhere secret. And to have the ity of his lips stolen away so abruptly during lunch break at their school’s corridor for the sake of a dare game – unpardonable! Unforgivable!
Luhan suddenly locked Minseok’s neck in the crook of his arm.
“What are you – Lu!”
The next thing Minseok knew, he was being dragged by the neck by his fuming comrade.
Only when they arrived at the locker corridor did Luhan let him go.
“Ahoy, lovely.” Minseok’s head snapped in the direction of the familiar voice to see Jongdae leaning back against a locker, smirking at them, amusement dancing in his eyes.
