Being the only inhabitant of the first floor of his house by night, Minseok soon began to be scared about the possibility of ghosts haunting him. Although it was summer, he would sleep with his blanket, either hugging it, or taking cover under it; he supposed ghosts could not see him if he hid beneath his quilt.

He would feel safe till the lights were kept on; but since he was not able to fall asleep in a brightly lit room, eventually he had to turn them off. Half of him wished to go sleep in his parents’ room, but he wanted to be brave – he was a boy, he should not be afraid – and he knew his mom and dad would not allow him to sleep with them for more than a night. They said he had to get accustomed to sleeping alone. Even baby Minseo was sleeping alone.

He missed lodging in between his grandparents on their bed, missed feeling their protective arms around him.

Every night he would listen warily for any strange sounds, fearing for his door to creak open slowly, something to crawl out from under his bed, a pale hand to shoot out of his wardrobe, a knock on his window – all the horrible imaginations would assault his mind. Chapter 28: I might not be crying physically but it feels as though I'm crying inside. Tears of happiness, mind you. Although you did not "properly" complete the story, your writing was beautiful and the whole story in it self has gotten me to smile genuinely which has been quite hard for me as of late. it has been difficult for me to really get into a book as it feels like my interest in reading is dispersing, not to my pleasure, but when I read this I felt that feeling of getting lost in a book. Reading this story made me feel as though I was in my own safe haven, I can't thank you enough for writing as much as you did. You might not have fully completed the story but you wrote just enough for me, and possibly others, to truly feel such a comforting and heartening emotion. So, thank you for that, I truly mean it.

Chapter 28: Oh damn reading this i realise there were still a lot things happening, it would have taken too much time for you to write, especially if you dont feel like writing anymore :( but i'm happy i would know what happened instead of being left with a "cliffhanger"
thank you for this !

Chapter 28: Even though this isn’t “properly” complete, I genuinely appreciate the fact that you wrote this for us, so we wouldn’t be left wondering what happened with the two of them. It seems very much like Jongdae to respect the wishes of Minseok’s parents, even if distancing himself was probably difficult. It also seems very much like him to want to meet Minseok again at the same place where so many memories were made...thank you so much for sharing this! And until next time, take care! <3

Chapter 25: I’m sad to hear that you’ve lost your inspiration to write. Life can get in the way of a lot of things, but I’m hoping that you can take care of yourself and the situations that you’re in in the best way that you can. You have to do what’s best for you, and I wil enjoy reading the next things that you will post. I wish you all the best! <3
