CHAPTER ELEVEN

Jisoo came to school jogging happily. She couldn’t believe that her friends came all the way to Seoul to see her. Oh! How she missed them.

She was walking down the corridor when Baekhyun walked past her. However, something seemed really different. Baekhyun was walking with his head hung down and if she was not mistaken, she swore she saw dark circles around his eyes. He looked like the Baekhyun she saw in her first week of school.

D.O sneaked a glance at his seatmate who seemed to be constantly peering at Baekhyun. I guess she still likes Baek.

On the other hand, Baekhyun’s phone buzzed signalling the incoming of a message.

Baek, we are all going to the Fair after school. Wanna come?

P.s: Don’t bring your girlfriend.

Fair? It would be fun! He mentally grinned. He might have changed a lot in his physical outlook but his playful and childish side never left. It was just that he only showed it infront of EXO, his parents and Jaera.

Baekhyun smiled softly but then broke into a wide grin, trying his best not to burst into laughter, when he saw the girl above him.

Jisoo opened then closed again. It went on for half a minute. She seemed like she wanted to say something but no words came out of and Baekhyun found it cute and dorky.

“Ok,” Jisoo took a deep breath and turned to D.O’s side, smiling at him widely.

Baekhyun looked at her amusingly. What is it that she wants to say that she is practising so hardly?

D.O raised his brows seeing his seatmate weird yet cute action. “D.O shi, can you please tell me what is bothering Baekhyun?” D.O could sense concern in her voice.

Baekhyun straightened himself. Please don’t remind me that.

“Just someone,” D.O shortly replied.

And when D.O said ‘just someone’, she knew it had to be Jaera.

“Yo, why are you late, bro?” Mark fist pumped Jungkook.

Jungkook massaged his temple and sighed. “I won’t be able to join you guys. I was in the middle of a meeting. And I have another meeting with Dad’s friend. I just came to drop Soo.”

“Aww, Kookie’s gonna miss the fun,” Bambam pout teasingly.

Jungkook clearly ignored him and turned to Jisoo. “Do you want me to come and pick you up?” Jisoo shook her head.

“You guys sure are not dating right?” Jennie eyed both of them suspiciously.

“What? No way!” Jisoo burst out. Gosh, she couldn’t imagine Jungkook and her dating. That’s just purely impossible, right?

“Anyway, gotta go. Enjoy~” Jungkook ruffled Jisoo’s hair and sprinted off.

Their friends looked at the two best friends. They are still the same as ever.

The six friends were walking along God-knows-where when Rose suddenly spoke up. “Soo ah,” she looked at Jisoo with a little mischievous tone. “Don’t you think it’s time you and Jungkook upgrade your relationship?”

Jisoo looked at Rose in a daze. “Upgrade how?”

Her friends hit their foreheads sighing. Is she that dense?
