Taeyeon POV

i was about to go after Jessica when she left but Seolhun pulled me back

"can you see me for once Taeyeon? i am serious about you", she said desperately

"even if im not with Jessica, i still couldnt see anyone else but her. i choose her. and im not gonna change my decision", i replied

"i can make your name bigger Taeyeon. with me working together and do all investment for you, you can get higher", Mr Jang said loudly 

i sighed and pulled my wrist from Seolhyun

"im huge enough. my business is doing well internationally. and i have enough support from my father. also, my girlfriend is handling two business. she can bring me up too. Kim and Jung are now as one, so with me and Jessica together, we'll be strong enough to stand proudly without even shaking", i said

"our relationship is the key for the success combination of Kim and Jung Empire to happen. it can never break down now but instead, we'll be more stronger and the top one", i added 

"but everything will crumble down once you break up with her", Mr Jang said

"yes ofcourse. but rest assure, i will protect Kim and Jung Empire. i will never let it go down. and i will never ever gonna break up with Jessica", i replied

"you wont but she will! she will in the future!", Seolhyun yelled

"she wont. and im not gonna let her go ever", i glared at Seolhyun

"leave. both of you. before i call securities to drag you out of my office", i said sternly

"im not going to give up", Seolhyun said and stomped her feets as she left. Mr Jang looked at me with hatred but i just maintained my straight face

"you're a fool", Mr Jang said before he exited my office

i took a deep breathe and fan myself to calm down my boiling heart

after i have calmed down, i headed out and went right into Jessica's office

"done handling your crazy admirer?", Jessica asked casually

i pouted then crossed my arms

"you just left me there. you should have help me", i said

Jessica smiled before she continued working as she is now typing something and looked at her computer's screen

"yah, im talking to you", i said trying to call for her attention

"hm. finish your work Tae. so we could leave faster", she answered without looking at me

"god, why do i have such ignorant girlfriend", i mumbled

"but this ignorant girlfriend of yours love you. so be thankful", she replied casually

i turned to stare at her calm face. i smiled as i feel everything is flipping upside down in my stomach

"i love you too", i said 

she lifted her head up and nodded her head

"now shoo, go to your office and do your work. you should give a good example to all the staffs especially my staffs", she said to me

i groaned and glared at her but she just raised her eyebrows at me

"what?", she asked

"you're still mean", i told her

"hm, got that a lot", she replied

"ugh fine! im gonna go back to my office and DO MY WORK", i said loudly

"good. thats a right example as a boss", she smirked

oh how i wish i could wipe off her smirk by kissing her so hard

"my sicababy is being such annoying brat", i grumbled and opened the door to leave

"aww thanks for the compliment honey!", she said and waved a goodbye playfully as she giggled

i rolled my eyes and closed her door as i exited her office

it was after 2 days, news regarding the downfall of Mr Jang along with his newly build company was out spreading so wide

Mr Jung and Mr Kim were out to play golf when they received the news from their right hands

"Junho ah, have you read the news?", Taeyeon's father asked

"about Jang is officially declared bankrupt and his company has been closed down? yes, im reading it now", Jessica's father replied

"his reputation as the biggest potential investor had been cutted down too", Mr Kim said

"and all of his previous supporters from equally success companies back out too and cutted off their connection with him", Mr Kim added

"dont you think this is so sudden? what had happened to him? Taeyeon would be stress out then since she's working on getting his investment", Mr Kim frowned 

Mr Jung was about to reply but stopped when Mr Kim received another new text message

"his niece was kicked out from modelling? the company has made statement that she wasnt under them anymore and her name was banned from entering any modelling", Mr Kim widened his eyes as he was shocked by the second following news about Seolhyun

Mr Jung narrowed his eyes as he heard what Mr Kim said. and in a split of second, he come to a conclusion that he knows the reason of why these had happened

"wait. i heard from Krystal that Jessica told her about Jang Han Hyuk and Seolhyun went to the headquarter to disturb Taeyeon", Mr Jung said

"i heard that too. Taeyeon mentioned it to me few days ago", Mr Kim said

Mr Jung then suddenly laughed and shook his head as he grinned in amusement

"why were you laughing?", Mr Kim asked him curiously

"do you want to know a secret?", Mr Jung smirked while asking

"what secret?", Mr Kim asked

"my eldest daughter is holding a very much strong power than both of us", Mr Jung whispered

"and...?", Mr Kim was confused

"she can do whatever she wants. anytime, anywhere. she can also wipe our names off from business if she want to you know", Mr Jung said

"why would she do that to us?", Mr Kim asked

"aigoo. i didnt say that she will do that but i was just telling you that she possessed that much power in her hands", Mr Jung replied

"because my daughter have a strong connection with the potential chinese businessmen in China", Mr Jung said again

"she is doing her business perfectly. without anyone noticed, she is reaching higher than we thought. we may think that she is still here trying to climb up but no, she is already more than half of her way to reach the top", Mr Jung told Mr Kim

"what do you mean? just how much power she have?", Mr Kim asked

"Jessica is good with her smart brain and strategy. she knows how to deal with business people. she knows how to make everyone agree to her and follow her wants. like i said, my power combined with yours, we're still nothing to compare to her. she got a lot of people on her back to serve her command anytime she wants", Mr Jung explained

"remember when one of Japan's businessman trying to threathen me and sent a message to kill me for not backing off from the huge deal? do you know who saved me back then? my daughter, Kim. Jessica saved me from all the mess. she helped me", Mr Jung stated proudly

"really???", Mr Kim asked in surprised

"yes. and i think, she is the reason to what happened to Jang Junhyuk and his niece", Mr Jung said
