Jessica was busy doing her works when she heard a loud noise from the next room. Feeling curious and bother, she stood up to go out and check whats going on

"Ms Jung", Sulli and Irene said chorusly as they looked at Jessica nervously

"whats with the noise? is that from Ms Kim's room?", Jessica asked

"err yes, Mr Jang..", Irene stuttered and paused as she nudged Sulli

"he's here with the niece", Sulli said

Jessica frowned then looked around and saw her employees were whispering and trying to peek and tilting their heads to find if they can see anything happen inside Taeyeon's office room

"Sulli, Irene, please tell the rest to continue their work. i'll handle this", Jessica said before she started to head towards Taeyeon's room

just as her hand held the door's knob, she heard the niece said something that made her angry

"i love you when i first saw you. i can do anything for you. and she only see you as her bestfriend. you only got together with her recently. i can show you how im capable to love you more. maybe she doesnt love you at all Taeyeon. maybe she just accept you because she was afraid if i will take your whole attention from her one day. she's just selfish about you!"

"i think my niece is right Taeyeon. look, im not gonna take back all the investment im planning to do. but, its no harm if you try giving my niece a chance. think about it Taeyeon. Jessica never date anyone seriously, she never care, she doesnt want to get attach. thats what she said in one of her interviews before right?"

hearing enough, Jessica knocked the door before she opened it and entered as she closed back the door

she see Taeyeon is sitting on her swivel chair, Mr Jang is sitting acrossed her and Seolhyun is standing by the end of Taeyeon's table

Jessica's eyes met with Taeyeon's eyes, she tried to find if Taeyeon doubt her or anything. honestly, Jessica is afraid after she heard what Mr Jang and Seolhyun said. no, she wasnt afraid of them. but she was just aftaid if Taeyeon started to doubt her honesty and her true feelings for her.

when Taeyeon saw how nervous Jessica was, she assumed that Jessica heard everything. so to calm her heart, Taeyeon give an assuring smile which Jessica then sighed silently in relief. 

"look look. the selfish confident woman is here now", Mr Jang hissed 

"uncle, please dont be rude to Ms Jung. Ms Jung. i dont want to fight with you. i know you are powerful more than me and i can never win. but here i just want to have my right to get a chance with Taeyeon. you both are just bestfriends. i know you only love her as your bestfriend and maybe you dont want to hurt her so you accept her, right? so i want to help. i will make Taeyeon move on and love me instead so she wouldnt feel hurt", Seolhyun said faking her politeness and make a fake innocent face

Taeyeon raised her eyebrows in surprised when Seolhyun being polite all of sudden, but she knew that she was just acting in front of her

"i thought that i've told enough last time. but im surprised you dont take serious of what i said Mr Jang. and Seolhyun sshi, like you said earlier, i am powerful and you can never win to fight me. and what right are you talking about? as far as i know, you have no right at all to claim for chances with Taeyeon. yes she used to be my bestfriend and i think she still is...", Jessica paused as she tried to find Taeyeon's eyes

"she still my bestfriend who would still be there for me through anything and i would be the same for her. but now, she wasnt just a bestfriend to me. she is my all. she's my lover for me to seek her love, she's my soul for me to live, she's my strength to keep me breathing, and she's everything i need. and no Seolhyun sshi, i will never let you take her away from me. i'll do anything so she wouldnt move on from me because im not planning to let her stop loving me because i will never hurt her anymore. and im sure Taeyeon loves me and me only", Jessica said 

'perfect, love. perfect', Taeyeon said in her head as she listened to all that Jessica has expressed

"and im tired explaining the same thing over again or making you two understand where you stand", Jessica sighed 

"excuse me for a while", Jessica left Taeyeon's office and called Sulli's attention to get into her office

Jessica went to her desk to take her mobile phone

"yes Ms Jung?", Sulli asked

"please dig into Mr Jang's background and all the business he is doing either its in the past or present. and oh, i want to know all the shares he have with any companies. i also want to know any business people or anyone who support him, all the companies he had made investment too and lastly, find out how much is his balance in his bank account"

"right away Ms Jung", Sulli replied quickly when she sensed a seriousness in Jessica's voice

Sulli keep quiet when Jessica is now dialling a number and waited for the other hand to answer her

"Hello Kris"

Sulli gulped when she knows who her boss is calling. Kris is a student who Jessica had saved before in China when he was about to kill himself by throwing his body in the middle of road to get hit by a car

luckily, it was Jessica. Jessica was quick enough to avoid him. knowing what he was trying to do, Jessica confronted him and warned him not to repeat his mistake

after knowing the real reason behind his mistake, turned out he was an orphan who had been living as one member of a chinese gang just to get the money to continue his studies. he want to stop his messy path of life but he felt pressure so he wanted to die instead.

so Jessica helped to save his life that is to support his life, give a place to live and enough cash to support his studies. thats when Kris made a vow to help Jessica with anything in the future if she needs his help. 

and he did helped Jessica once, when a someone tried to backstab her father, Jessica asked Kris to handle the problem for her. so Kris used his past connection to make sure the man wont dare to drag Mr Jung down. 

that was the only time when Jessica asked help from Kris. and now, this would be the second time then. 

'uh oh. you will never be safe anymore Mr Jang, your niece too', Sulli thought

"i need you to drag someone out of the business world", Jessica said

"name and details?"

"i'll email it to you everything soon"

"alright"

"and there is a girl who pissed me off. the name is Kim Seolhyun. she's coming from there, China, for her studies and lived with her family", Jessica said

"and what do i need to do about her noona?"

Jessica sighed heavily and looked up at Sulli who's gulping with fear. Jessica chuckled lowly and turned to look at a frame of picture which contain her photo with Taeyeon

Jessica trailed her index finger on Taeyeon's picture as she smiled

"ruin her. make her regret for trying to disturb my relationship", Jessica said firmly

"got it noona"

after Jessica hung up

"Sulli ah. dont tell anyone", Jessica said

"understood boss", Sulli replied fast

"you may go and do your work. give me anything you got about that old man", Jessica said

"will do Ms Jung. i'll go now", Sulli then excused herself

"im not gonna stay still when someone dare to steal my Taeyeon from me. i can be a devil too when it comes to my Taeyeon. as i said, i wouldnt be able to hold myself back now that im openly expressing my love for Taeyeon. and no one can stop me", Jessica whispered to herself

"Mr Jang. you'll regret for not believing my words. you will soon see how cruel i can be", Jessica smirked evilly

Jessica then took a seat on her swivel chair and leaned her head on the backrest as she closed her eyes
