Frat Boy (Lay)
All The Things I Swallowed InsideYou don’t want to believe your friends, but when they pull up in front of the fraternity house, you’re filled with rage. Not waiting for your friend, you beeline for the door as soon as the car is slow enough.
The living room is full, and you squeeze your way through to the backyard where you know he will be. Once your eyes land on the dark haired boy, you march right up to him. Of course, he’s not ‘studying’ like he said.
“Zhang Yixing, you lied to me.” You raise your voice to get his attention.
He whips around with wide eyes, guilt written all over his face.
“Did you think I wouldn’t find out? God! Somebody can kill themselves by jumping from your ego to your IQ.” You turn away when he starts to stand.
The party scene blurs as you hurry back the way you came. Your friend leaned against her car in sight, you pick up your pace, but a hand around your wrist halts you.
“Babe, I’m sorry. I’m an idiot.” Yixing pleads.
“You keep saying you’ll stop all this partying nonsense and focus on schoolwork, but the only way for that to get through to you is if you get kicked out, which isn’t too far away,” You snap, “I don’t want to see you fail, Yixing.”
“Please don’t give up on me.” His voice is soft, and you can see the sincerity deep in his eyes.
“If my parents knew what I was doing, they’d kill me.” You huff, snaking your arms around him.
“Why?”
“They told me not to get involved with you.”
