“Why are you like this?” You yell over the rain. 

Jongin and you were on your way back to your apartment after your first date when it began pouring. Now here he is spinning around like a little kid in the rain.

“We’re in the middle of a thunderstorm and you wanna stop and feel the rain?” You stare at him in disbelief.

“Why not?” He smiles.

“What if we get struck by lightning?” You pout as he steps closer and wipes a few drops off your cheek.

“The chances of that happening are 1 in a million.”

“Jongin.” You push at his shoulder playfully.

“What are the chances that you’ll…” His voice trails off while his eyes avert from yours.

“That I’ll what?” You try to hide your grin.

“Kiss me.” His nervous gaze comes back to you.

Your eyes widen at his sudden forwardness. You can see the panic in his eyes as he starts to recover from your silence.

“Just once.”

You shoot up on your toes, pressing your lips into his. When you lean back, Jongin is still very surprised.

“Only once?” You give him a teasing look, and he shakes his head before bringing you back to his lips.
