160811 Strawberry kisses ft. Kim Taehyung (special ft.: Soonshim)     “Soonshim-ah!” Taehyung calls from across the living room. His teddy bear of a dog runs over at the call of her name. You watch the pair play while you do your thing in the kitchen. What’s after flour, eggs? You’re attempting to bake a cake on this free Sunday because… why not?   “Careful!” You call out when you see Taehyung almost roll into a table. That kid… He looks at you, all smiles on his face.    “What have you been busying yourself with since just now?” He gives Soonshim a pat before sauntering over, leaning and resting his elbows against the countertop.    “I’m trying to bake a cake, but it doesn’t seem to be coming together well…” You frown at the recipe you’ve pulled up on the tablet before you.   “Oh, strawberry cake!” His eyes light up. Moving to stand behind you, he looks over your shoulder and into the mixing bowl.    “I should probably give up before I make a mess of this kitchen,” you say jokingly, laughter in your voice. You turn to look at Taehyung but take a startled step back when you realise his face is just centimetres away from yours. He quickly reaches out to support your back and at the same time sneakily pull you closer.    “You have flour on your face,” he tells you as his thumb swipes across your cheek. In an embarrassing haste, you start wiping your face with your own hand.   “Is it still there?” You ask, sweeping stray hair away from your face. Taehyung stares at you surprised for a moment, but suddenly he bursts out laughing. You frown at him.    “Soonshim-ah, come look at mummy!” He doubles over as he laughs. What’s so funny? You look into the timed-out tablet to look at your reflection in the dark screen. What in the name of sweet strawberries… you look down at your flour-covered hand and groan in frustration.
