170116 Spring Onion ft. Kim Seokjin     *Ding*   My phone startles me with a notification chime. Curious as I’m not expecting any incoming texts, I click open the message.   From: Jin oppa [Kids, you think you will like roses?]   I stare at my name in the message. And what “kids”? Before I can respond to ask what he’s talking about, another text comes in.   From: Jin oppa [, that wasn’t meant for you.] [WRONG CHAT.] [Please ignore what you just read.] [T_T]   I can’t help but laugh out loud at his fluster. Was he going to ask s about me? I hit the reply button before Seokjin can spam me with more messages.   To: Jin oppa [Quite a blunder you made there.]   His response is instantaneous.   From: Jin oppa [T_T] [I’m going to have to go over right now with my memory eraser stick.]   To: Jin oppa [I’ll be waiting with my sunglasses B)] [And for the record, I prefer spring onions.]   Well, at least spring onions are edible. I stifle laughter at my own joke while Seokjin quietens down with no more new messages. It shows on my phone that he’s read my latest one. Maybe he suddenly has things to do. Shrugging, I return to what I was doing before – lazing around.   Rolling around with a growling stomach, I drag myself into the kitchen to find that I have packets of instant noodles with no ingredients to cook it with. I sigh in disappointment at my lack of will to head out for groceries. For now, this will have to do. I quickly set a pot of water on the stove and turn up the heat. The doorbell rings as the water begins to boil.   “Who is it?” I call out as I approach the door. Looking into the peephole, I see Seokjin’s handsome face among the grass he’s using to block my view. Rolling my eyes, I open the door.   Turns out, the “grass” is actually spring onion. I stare at the vegetable in disbelieve.   “Well, how do you like them?” Seokjin asks cheekily.   “In my instant noodles,” I just have to say. Speaking of which… “My water!”   I don’t have to look to know that Seokjin is rolling his eyes at me. I scramble to turn down the heat as my pot overflows with bubbling water. Once the water has settle
