Determined to finally talk to Sooyeon tonight, Eunbin ordered some chicken and beer and sat in her room waiting for her roommate to come back. Hearing the lock on the door moving, she cast one last look to her desk mirror and made sure she was presentable.

    “Oh, sorry I should’ve knocked. The door was locked so I thought you were not in” Sooyeon apologised, as she moved to put her bag on the chair.

    “It’s ok, I ordered some ChiMek, want to eat together?” Eunbin asked as she crossed her fingers behind her back.

    “Erm… yeah sure”

    The two of them proceeded to lay some newspaper on the floor and started their meal. Eunbin smiled at Sooyeon’s habit of taking the skin off the fried chicken to enjoy later, and took a sip of the beer.

    “So how was school for you?” Sooyeon asked as she tore up the chicken to bite size.

    “It was cool, a lot of fun people around. You?”

    “I think it’s going to be boring, I’ve read the textbook already, and the lecturer seemed pretty unimpressive, I don’t think I would go to lectures anymore”
